When you aren't lounging by the pool or tanning on the sand, there is a wide variety of activities and attractions to check out nearby. The golfers of the group will be glad to know that Key Colony Beach Golf is within walking distance. If you are up for a bit more adventure, rent a few bicycles and cruise along the bike paths to Sunset Park or Key Colony Inn for a bite to eat! Venture out a bit more and you can have a blast at the Dolphin Research Center, the Florida Keys Aquarium Encounters, or the Turtle Hospital. Feel like indulging in even more adventure? Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Seven-night minimum stays only. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Dock details: 29.5 feet Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. We brought our 18 ft Pathfinder which fit perfectly at the dock. Fish cleaning area, and outside water with hose made it easy. Dockside outside area nice with coconut palms, table chairs and longe chairs all good. We're able to easily park the truck and the boat trailer on the property. We are all our meals but one at the house. Kitchen well appointed. Very clean on arrival. We were not crazy about the beds, in fact we left 2 days early because as my husband aptly described: It's like lying down on a big soft marshmallow. Master bed worse than the second bedroom. My back, which was fine when we arrived was so painful, had to get home. Most unfortunate. We are not spring chickens so to a younger couple would perhaps not be an issue.

Had a great time at Key Colony. The rental we had was a little small but good enough for us. It was very clean and well appointed. Loved the back patio to hang out and fish in the canal. The only complaint I have is the A/C is only window units and they were very loud especially the one in the master bedroom but they worked and kept us cool.

We enjoyed this nicely decorated home on a canal in Key colony beach. We paddled the canals with a kayak that we rented and had delivered to the house. A word of caution that the home has no heat source and it was 55-60 degrees for a few days. A space heater or two would solve the problem and is a probably necessary addition for a winter rental even in the keys. The pool is at the Cabana club which is a farther walk than we expected and we never did find the playground in the pictures if you have littles and are counting on that. Sunset park was a great place to see the sunset. While we didn't get to use them, we found the shared tennis courts and public golf course on 8th street. We did have a fun shuffleboard match at the shared shuffle board and bocci courts on 7th street. We cooked quite a bit and found the kitchen to be stocked with reasonable cookware and enough plates and cups for our group of 4. It was nice to be able to stay in this beautiful location.

Nice little spot in paradise! Had everything a family would need to get away from the daily grind. Only downside was having to leave. Will definitely be back! Thank you so much to the wonderful R&R your both the best!

Awesome water front access with boat dock and easy access to the Atlantic and Gulf.
House is much smaller than pictured. Hallway is very narrow. Only real complaint is no space for social gatherings as we had family in 2 other houses along the canal.
Perfect for a small family and a short stay!

Key Colony Beach is a wonderful place to stay in Marathon. This unit was tastefully updated/decorated and fit the bill perfectly for our Keys vacation. It's right on the canal (we saw a mom and baby manatee the first day we got there), and it's close to anything you need in Marathon and the Keys in general. We used the KCB club one day, ate at the restaurant one night, and enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling with some local guides. The unit has good A/C, all the amenities you need for a stay, nice TV's (although who goes to the Keys to watch Netflix?), and a well supplied kitchen and gas grill (although...please clean it when you're done...the last guest didn't so I had to clean it before use. Don't be "that guy".)
I would highly recommend this unit and I would book here again in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed our stay at this 2/2 duplex in Key Colony. Located in a nice neighborhood on a nice wide canal. It was great to have our boat right out back. The home is small, but had plenty of space for us. The kitchen had mostly everything we needed, and Publix is a 15 minute drive. Bathrooms and hallways small, but we were comfortable. You are very close to neighbors ( and attached on one side) but that was mostly fine. The next door neighbors had quite a lot of extra guests for July 4th, so we did not have much privacy. They were pretty noisy but tried to be respectful. There is a nice park down the street which was great for sunset.

You will need to pick up all your grocery needs from the store - including S&P, but all good! The filter in the fridge needs replacing, bought water from the store instead. The AC while keeping the place cool we’re a bit noisy, but again kept us very cool at night. We rent bikes - highly recommend and went to the cabana beach club everyday - need to bring towels and no outside F&B is allowed, so FYI there. It’s clean staff is super friendly and the drinks were strong! Loved the Bahama Mama and Margaritas. Check out sunset park as well, super cool viewing and also a hidden gem! Key Colony Inn had great food and great bartenders! We went twice during our stay. Overall a nice place to stay!

Nice location - lacking housewares, there where bare minimum utensils. No Kureg - TV’s did not have full cable access - again nice property the above issues really didn’t take the away from the Keys experience. I would rent again.

Check in and check out process was very easy. Upon arrival the place was super clean and organized. There were extra clean sheets and clean towels for both rooms. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking utensils, pots, pans, plates, silverware and cups. Location was amazing, we came down to do some diving and this was perfect driving distance to several dive centers. The community was beautiful, well kept and clean. The House is on the canal with easy outlet to the open water. We would definitely stay at this house again.
