Welcome to Union Pines - This home is perfect for any group accommodations such as family reunions, convention groups, travel groups, ski groups, large families, Young Living and doTERRA groups, corporate housing, temporary relocation housing, traveling executives, displaced families, and people in-between homes. You'll love this private park-side location within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and a city park with ball fields and pavilion. Enjoy world famous skiing at nearby Cottonwood Resorts (Snowbird, Alta, Brighton, and Solitude). Convenient access to freeway to downtown Salt Lake. Amenities include city park next door with picnic tables and pavilion, great room with 30 foot ceiling, additional living with gas fireplace and second TV, beautiful full kitchen with bar and large dining table (place setting for 11), and a private deck with private hot tub and mature pine and aspen trees. In addition to this home, there is an adjoining 3 bedroom home next door (no interior connecting door) that can also be rented together or separate. When renting both homes together, you can accommodate 22 people. If you need space for even more people, you have the option of renting 9 total homes in this private community. Renting all the homes together makes for a perfect home base for a family reunion or family gathering for any special occasion, family vacation, 50th wedding anniversary celebration, or a group ski vacation. This is the second time I've stayed in this Union Pines area. Why can't they install front door locks that work ?? When we stayed 3 months ago, our front door lock didn't work. When we arrived this time, 2 families were outside their house, their lock didn't work. When we left Sunday morning, we couldn't lock the front door. I called and told the answering service. We flew on to Oregon, stayed in a rental property, the front door lock was EASY, worked every time. Get some new locks !!!

We have book house's a couple of times through Utah's best Vacation rental. The houses are always clean and comfortable. I save hundreds of dollars when we do. Because instead of 3 hotel rooms, we get the house with 3 bedrooms. We can have lots of room to play family games and enjoy each other's company. They are always helpful when I call to book.

A few things: There were a number of issues but property manager did take care of these quickly. The loft is really not a separate bed space but two beds in hallway outside bedrooms (no privacy). We increased our stay from 4 days to 14 days but they refused to bring more dish and laundry soap - or toilet paper. A bit cheap for how much we spent. Overall. It was a decent rental.

We stayed here rather than up at Snowbird on a family ski trip because we needed 3BRs. It was a fine choice that had the expected amenities, although the layout of the unit is a little odd - the TV viewing area next to the kitchen, in particular, was not the most comfortable for viewing the TV. But, the unit had lots of space for our group, so we were happy.

Home was located in a good location close to mountains and amenities. The VRBO listing was accurate with a nice view of a park behind the home. The place could use a little updating, but the home was stocked well and had everything we needed for our stay.

Wonderful location for ski trip
The condo was beautifully decorated, spacious, and clean. It was lovely to sit by the fireplace, and we enjoyed the hot tub every night. It's a perfect place to stay, near ski resorts, grocery stores, and restaurant.

Wonderful weekend with one unexpected problem
We had a wonderful weekend at the house with our family and enjoyed the time together. The hot tub was nice and the 2 car garage. We just had one problem that caused some frustration, the fridge started making a loud knocking noise that was heard throughtout the house. We called guest services 3 times before someone came the next day and looked at it after a very noisy day and night. We realize that it was a holiday weekend, and when they did come they were able to get it fixed for our last night.

spacious house in great location
This is a great bargain for a spacious house in an awesome location. Only 20 to 30 minutes to great ski resorts, but also within five minutes of lots of shopping and restaurants. House was extremely clean and very spacious for the number of bedrooms. Private hot tub was great and looked over a park. The only constructive criticism I can give is that it wasn’t the most updated kitchen and bathrooms, so it didn’t have things like granite countertops, but that doesn’t really matter to us. It still was in excellent condition and super clean. For the price it was a great place to stay and we will definitely consider coming back!

Great 3BR home that backs up to a park. Our kids loved the new playground equipment at the park. 20-30 minutes to Snowbird/Alta and Solitude and Brighton (longer for pow days and weekends). Large hot tub. Beds were comfortable. The only negative was the pots and pans were very warped and could use replacement. Great value and would stay there again!

Good Place for Large Groups
Overall a really nice house for a large group of people. Can fit 3 couples and 2-4 children comfortably. Very spacious. We had some minor issues that could be fixed though - not enough laundry/dish detergent or trash bags. A draft came through the back door which wasn't too bad since it never got too cold while we were there but if it dropped below 30* it could be an issue. Also, no vent from the dryer made the upstairs stink or laundry detergent and needed to run the dryer twice to dry clothes. If these issues get fixed, it would be a near perfect stay.

This is our favorite rental in SLC. Spacious, beautiful house with groceries/gas nearby, close to skiing with a great hot tub for afterward and a park with a walking path out the back. Very easy check-in/out. We would love it even better if we could bring a pet!

A lovely condo conveniently located for both skiers and the rest of us. So close to any shopping you might want and just a few minutes from the beltline to the resorts. the park immediately behind the unit is a great plus--gives both privacy and access to a super walking trail! That said, it is less well equipped than many comparable properties we have rented. In particular, the kitchen simply isn't up to par and isn't equipped with some of the things you might imagine are in any rental--like baking dishes, pizza stones or pans, or anything you could use to steam a vegetable. Flatware is particularly low quality--irritating when the whole reason you pick this kind of rental is to keep from having to always eat out (and Covid makes staying in even more important.)Beds are very comfortable, pillows are abundant, and bath are fine. Living and family furniture tends to be stiff and uncomfortable--also hard to find a convenient place to set down a drink from many of the places you might sit on the sofas.All in all, a great location, a nice place, and good for a short stay. For many of us, however, it would be hard to find it comfortable for longer than a week.

The house overall was perfect for a girls weekend. I was a little bothered than so many lights were burned out on the main floor. More than half the kitchen lights didn’t work. The light for outside to get in the hot tub was out and there is no other light. Outside so it was tricky. The fireplace was also not useable, would have been nice to have when it was snowing! Lastly there is no way to use a Roku or chrome cast as mentioned in the welcome emails. These didn’t affect a lot but was annoying!

loved everything about it
first off let me clarify that the checkin process was confussing. One page gave the code to get into the house and another page says the lock pad is in on the backdoor. so we headed straight to the back door to get in and got confussed and found out the lock pad is on the front door not the back..so i dont know why it said to enter in from the back door?
issue #2- way way way to many decorative pillows. needs like 20 less pillows on the couches and beds.
everything was perfect ! no other complaints, I loved the window a/c units, we stayed nice and cool all night with a little white noise to drown out any noise within the house. fiddle with the buttons as one setting made the a/c unit turn on and off which was noisey, find the setting to keep is constintly on.(cant remember which one)
hot tube gets the afternoon hot sun . we didnt have time to use it in the morning but would of loved to. playground at the park was all in the shade which was awesome. the bed in the master bedroom was very comfy, my grandkids LOVED the Harry Potty bedroom.. (thats what we named it) so check out the closet by the front door. there is a secret room in there with a matress. my autistic grandson loved to lay in there with the door shut. (it was just storage for an extra matress) but a fun area. quiet neighborhood. will definately stay there again

Great weekend stay!
We stayed here for a girls trip and had a very nice stay. The house was clean, spacious and everything as explained in the listing. We had 7 adults and we felt there was plenty of space. The only thing that was brought up as a negative was the metal twin bed is squeaky when you are laying down and you roll over. Other than that, great house and property!

Nice home
The house was very nice love the furnishings neighborhood etc. The only problem we had was with bugs. Now don't get me wrong they were not roaches, bed bugs. They were from the tree outside the house I believe. So they were everywhere in the master bedroom and eventually the whole house. I do believe there is a nest somewhere in the master bedroom. I will give credit where it is due. They answered back quickly and sprayed but it was an inconvenience to say the least. I still would book with them again just not that house.
