The property is in a good location near the airport and port with parking.

There’s air conditioning only in one bedroom which is difficult in summer hot weather. The facility is quite basic but considering the price it’s acceptable.

Good apt in walking distance of port and bus station, lots of local places to eat

Very close to the airport, just like we wanted. A pizza/pasta place and an amazing Supermarket at walking distance. Distances within Iraklion are very short so just go by car / take a bus. Renting an apartment just by the old city won't be worthwhile. Above the basic standard of what a family needs as an apartment. The apartment is very well designed and nice to stay in. The host was amazing and exceptional!

These are just the peacky notes: - hot water should be explained better at first. - more utincials - if you host a family, get the proper amout of utincials so they can dine together ☺️ More cereal bowls and larger knives. - no elevator, it was less of a problem for us but for older people or a longer stay with a lot of leggege it might be an issue.

The apartment was really good, very clean, equipped well and with a nice and big balcony. The host was really nice, helpful and friendly.

Spacious, well appointed. Fruit bowl and bottled water, greatly appreciated. We arrived late, no dinner or time to get water. Hot water in the shower and nice big towels. Located half way between airport and old Heraklion. There was a lockbox with clear instructions. The owner was very responsive and good. wifi.

Jet flight path, but not all night.

Anastasios is a great host! Check-in works smoothly and he organized us a taxi to pick us up in the early morning. Perfect apartment if you need to leave to the airport very early.

Stayed only for 1 night before the flight. Good location for the city center and the Airport.

Kitchen and shower are outdated

Anastasios was so accommodating and kind. We had a very large apartment that was very clean. A large bottle of water and bananas was a nice little treat waiting for us. The location was great.

Spacious and the decor even tho its minimal its cute. It had TV in all rooms. But air only in one bedroom. But since we were staying for one night its was ok.

The building is in the axe of the runway so and the proximity to the airport means you get sound shock with every plain departing. The AC is only in the bedroom not in the living room.

the apartment is very dark (need to switch on the light also during the day), there is air conditioning but it’s exactly above the bed and it’s not easy to sleep with the air conditioning turned on

Easy to find, parking bay available, comfortable beds, ideal stopover for late arrival in Crete. At the corner of the road was a restaurant still serving food after midnight.

Clean apartment, central location, excellent helpful host. I will definitely stay here if I visit Crete again. Highly recommended.

Midway Point Apartments exceeded our expectations and clearly is a winner at the price we booked. However much I appreciate Anastasios's hosting and his apartment, it's less. This 1 bed apartment comes well equipped with all that you would want and expect to be in fully functional home. The living room had a bigger TV with rocking chair and a pedestal fan. Balcony access was from all three major rooms - living, bedroom and kitchen. Bedroom had super cool AC in the scorching heat with was such a relief. Equipped with scented candles, cool wall and shelve decors, you would be greeted with a bowl full of chocolates, another bowl full of fruits, another bowl full of coffee/tea sachets and a bottle of dry white wine in addition to a chilled water bottle in the fridge. The bathroom had branded shampoo and body wash, and the bed/towels were super clean. Highly satisfying self-catering setup which will no doubt make you choose it again when you visit this part of Greece!

Everything was very good. If I had to search for points which could improve it would be the size of the bathroom (which understandably is always small in most properties in Greece). Also, if someone is staying for longer, you might have to ask for arrangements regarding laundry as this apartment missed washing machine inside (not sure if there was a communal one to use).
