Beautiful house with private dock on Saltwater canal, very close to boat ramp
About this house rental
Our vacation home will make the perfect place for you and your family to come visit all that Hernando Beach has to offer. This amazing stilted home features a private dock on a Direct Gulf Access canal conveniently located right near the Hernando Beach public boat ramp. Guest can enjoy using the private dock to tie off their boat overnight or enjoy catching fish from the dock with some of the provided tackle. There is also a large ice machine downstairs for guest to use on all their fishing and sand bar adventures. The home has a half bathroom downstairs and a bait freezer in the tackle room. There is also covered parking and a beautiful patio area downstairs with a built-in bar and a grill for guest to use. This house is loaded for people that like to fish from the hoses near the dock to clean the boat, the fillet table on the dock, the huge ice machine and the outdoor shower to wash off the salt and cool down when you return. When Guest enter the home they will be welcomed with modern appliances and beach decor to really give it the vacation feel of being at the beach. The home has been uprgraded and features NO CARPET. The home features a full master bedroom with a queen size bed and private master bathroom, another bedroom with x2 twin beds, another bedroom with a queen size bed and full size guest bathroom. Upstairs we have a balcony with comfortable furniture where you can watch the beautiful sunsets. Hernando Beach is conveniently located 1 hour from the Tampa International Airport for any guest flying from out of town. Hernando beach has some great restaurants and seafood companies very close to the house. There is a small restaurant and bar just across the canal which you can sit outside and enjoy the live music on the weekends. You will also have access to 3 kayaks, there are many local fishing charters and lots of cool places to check out that are close by like Weeki Wachee Springs. Wireless internet and Internet TV access are provided. -Note: Your Safety and Privacy matter. This property features exterior security cameras with one facing the dock and the other facing the storage area on the downstairs. They do not look into any interior spaces and will only be utilized in the event of theft or damage. -Note: This property is located on the second floor and does require travel up steps to access the interior. This property may not be suitable for guest with limited mobility.

Everything on the property was as advertised and included no surprises. Communications with the owner was spot on and very accommodating and very helpful answering any questions and providing suggestions. Location was great. On the water, docking with space for 1 large boat or 2 moderate sizes. Minutes away from anything you might need or where you want to be. The local bar provides live music across the water till 9pm, where you can enjoy from the property or close the deck and ignore. Plenty of fish mongers to fill the fridge with if you chose not to catch it from the dock.
If I were to be critical about anything, it would be the light visit of "noSeaums" in the evening, but they don't stay for long. There are fans on the balcony that helps with this, but the Seaums only stick around for dusk and dawn.
You will enjoy the location. Just treat it well and leave it clean.

We had a great week in Hernando Beach! The property was very clean and well kept. The waterfront was awesome and our young boys loved catching fish from the dock. It was also fun to watch the boats in the marina and listen to the band across the canal at night. The house was in a great location and very comfortable!

Stayed there last year for a scalloping trip with family and had a blast. Plenty room for a boat at the dock and still had room for the kids to fish. Very clean place. Loved the ice machine, it saved a lot of time and money each day

Home had everything needed to cook a holiday meal. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed. House was beautifully decorated. The owner was friendly, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as intended. He came by on Thanksgiving day because the ice machine wasnât working. We really hated he did that we could have just bought ice for our fishing trip. Oh and the master shower! The water pressure is awesome!!

Great Place
Nice clean property and great location. We brought our boat and did some fishing and spent some time at the sandbar. House was perfect. Close to the boat ramp, a very nice dock with a fish cleaning table, plenty of parking for the trailer, and a Ice Machine âș. Not to mention the live music across the canal. Had a awsome time. The property manager was very communicative and responded to me in a timely fashion. Plenty of good restaurants in the area and Weeki Wachee Springs is a short ten minutes away. I would recommend this place and would stay here again.

The outdoor area was nicely maintained and comfortable. We grilled out one night and had coffee on the upstairs deck in the mornings. The kitchen had nice appliances and all the right gadgets. This is a great choice if youâre looking for something close to Weeki Wachee, nice beaches and great local restaurants. Also a good spot if you plan on doing any fishing/boating.

There was no toaster in the house we could find. I purchased one and left it. There was also no wine bottle opener I purchased and left that as well. Beyond those very minor things the home is a wonderful stay. The ice machine is an excellent touch and came in very handy for the coolers and our daily trips out and about. Across the canal, or around the corner is a small shop, Boat to Table. Excellent fresh sea food. I highly recommend them if you don't catch your own. All in all, we had a great time. I have stayed in several homes in Hernando Beach, and although there is nothing wrong with this home, we would likely stay at one of the others if we travel here again. Simply due to the kayaking situation. Check in and communication was excellent. Thanks Mr. Oliver for a great stay!

Loved this property. Absolutely enthralled with the shrimp boats across the canal and the free live band entertainment. There was an amazing assortment of fish in the canal and my son loved fishing from the dock. I couldn't give 5 stars only because I was forced to buy all supplies needed to stay there. I felt toilet paper, Trash bags, and paper towels should have come with the rental charges. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

The property owner has cameras only on the back porch and you felt like he was spying on you. The neighbor was not friendly. This property is more for family or senior citizens.He said toilet paper was included,but left us with 1/2 a roll for each bathroom for a week.

The house is exactly as pictured. It is very nice and a wonderful location. You can hear the band play at the restaurant across the canal and was very relaxing. Enjoyed the location & the complete ambiance of the house. Watched dolphins swim up the canal every day, it was so calming & beautiful.

Florida Trip
The property was much nicer than the photos online. We were visiting friends 15 minutes away, so we were on the go all the time. Very convenient to bars and activities. We went kayaking and took an airboat ride. The neighborhood was quiet except when the fishing boats were coming in or going out early in the morning. Great Times
Location is great if you want to get away from normal Florida hustle and bustle. Fishing was fantastic right off the dock which is spacious. The house was very clean and comfortable. Having kayaks was very nice. They do need some TLC with handles missing and be careful exiting and entering kayaks especially during low tide. Overall great experience. Thank you David and Lisa for sharing your home.
