About this condo rental
Located in Mérignac, this charming condo for $208 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Located less than 15 minutes from the historic heart of Bordeaux by car (parking space at the foot of the apartment), bike or public transport, this apartment is very quiet and bright. It is designed to accommodate a family of up to three children (including 1 under 5 years). The apartment is composed of: - 1 master bedroom with queensize bed + a bed 0-5 years with bars and everything necessary for a baby. - 1 children’s room with single bed on the mezzanine (many toys and books). - 1 comfortable single bed in the living room serving as a daybed. For surfing and beach lovers, it is located less than an hour’s drive from the beaches of Lacanau, the Bassin d'Arcachon and Cap Ferret. For wine lovers and charming village, it will take you 45 minutes by car to get to the village and the cellars of Saint-Emilion. The largest district of Bordeaux, Caudéran, also called the "Neuilly Bordelais", has retained a family spirit and a friendly village atmosphere. Very residential, it is also quiet and ideal for family life: thought as a garden city, the district of Caudéran is composed of individual houses with private grounds and collective housing with parks, squares, alleys and large trees. Peaceful and close to downtown Bordeaux, it offers a beautiful quality of life. The district includes the famous Bordeaux Park, the largest green space in Bordeaux with its 28 hectares. Inaugurated at the end of the 19th century, it is designed for the enjoyment of all with walking trails, large tree-shaded paths, an animal park, a guignol theater, lakes and wooded areas. A book detailing all the information relating to your stay will be delivered to you during your reservation.

The accommodation was good, well equipped, and quiet. One recommendation when there are three adults, as opposed to a a family with children, is to move the bed from the sitting room into the second bedroom. There is a had held shower head but no shower curtain for the bath, making showering difficult without wetting the whole bathroom. The owner was most helpful. The property is in a quiet neighbourhood with a supermarket within walking distance but no cafes or restaurants. You need to catch a bus to eat out. The bus stop was 5 min walk away and the service was frequent during the day. At night, there was a bus every 30min. The bus ride took about 20 min to get into the centre of Bordeaux.

Il y a l’ascenseur donc pour les valises c’est top.
A 3km du centre et des quais mais on le savait en réservant, a pied ca fait un belle marche.

Ruhig gelegene Ferienwohnung, etwas abseits des Zentrums
Die Ferienwohnung liegt ca. 3,2 km vom Zentrum und den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Innenstadt von Bordeaux entfernt. Dafür ist sie ruhig gelegen und verfügt über einen eigenen PKW-Parkplatz. In ca. 400 Meter Entfernung befindet sich ein Supermarkt mit einer excellent ausgestatteten Weinabteilung. Die Wohnungsübergabe lief problemlos. Gleiches gilt für die Rückgabe (Schlüssel einfach in den Briefkasten werfen). Ein kleiner Vorschlag an Patrick! Es wäre gut, etwas bezüglich der Türschlösser an der Wohnungstür zu unternehmen und deren problemloses Schließen sicherzustellen. Wir hatten zwar keine Probleme, aber ohne etwas Kraftanstrengung und dem Wissen, wie es geht, ist die Tür nur schwer ab- und aufzuschließen. Nicht Jedermann s Sache.

Nos enfants ont adoré la chambre et tous les jouets qui s'y trouvaient. Grâce à l'emplacement réservé pour notre voiture, il nous a été très facile de visiter Bordeaux. Bel appartement et voisinage calme.

Excellent séjour dans l’appartement, il est propre, confortable, cosy et très bien équipé. Patrick est réactif et disponible. L’annonce reflète tout à fait la prestation. Nous recommandons pour les couples ou familles avec 1 enfant ou/et bébé, qui n’ont pas besoin d'être en plein cœur de ville (facile de s’y rendre en voiture ou via les transports).
