Very nice hostel, would highly recommend.

Very good location and the views were lovely! The bedroom was comfortable and having a sink was very handy. The bathrooms were spacious. Would definitely stay again.

The woman’s bathrooms could have been cleaned a little more often and thoroughly. The men’s however we’re fine. The kitchen was also not cleaned often although mostly due to the other guests being lazy about washing up.

Enjoy the view but DO not go there over a weekend!

Nice view clean and very decent facilities

Very noisy area over weekend, noisy rooms with metal containers clicking and making noise by people, the idea of locking the rooms with keys are terrible. People leave the room without key and come back in the middle of night knocking the door!! It’s an awful idea need to be revised!

Staff was so nice, and I can see very beautiful view at the kitchen.

It was comfortable and had everything in and nearby to the hostel that I needed for my short stay.

The staff were very friendly and there was a lift which was very convenient when I had my heavy bags with me to get to my room on the 2nd floor. The kitchen area was very clean and there was plenty of space in the fridge for my food. The location was very good as it was close by to the InterCity bus stop.

Disappointing

Facilities are clean and great location to meet new people and a beautiful morning view of the harbour.

it is very over priced for the size of the room, We got a room for the two of us and ended up feeling really sick and having to sleep with the door cracked open as it was VERY claustrophobic.

Jail cell rm, squeaky doors, flimsy, creaky metal bunkbed.

It was great! I look forward to my next stay.

I loved the cosy room. I'm usually claustrophobic when it comes to small spaces but I loved the room. There was a nice big window, and the beautiful colour walls just made the place feel vibrant and airy. Also the fan was a dream!

There was no lamp in the room, which made my night time reading very difficult. The ensuite bathroom could have been a bit more clean, and maybe an extra spoon for our coffees and teas would be good.

We liked that it was close to everything, the staff where awesome the atmosphere was great all round it was a fantastic vibe

Only thing I didn't like was the toilet seat in the ladies toilet felt like it was falling off

great value budget accommodation in stunning central location

great central location with sea views from the communal lounge and rooftop terrace.

the downside of staying central is no onsite parking.

Pleasant

The location was awesome, so close to Tauranga CBD and Waikato University. Wifi was fast and easy to connect. The facility was relatively clean.

Loud neighbours, and thin walls which didn't block out any noise.

Lovely place filled with lovely people.

Stayed for a work trip over the weekend, very convenient location with a great view! The staff and guests were also super friendly and I got to meet some cool people who shared the room with me. Definitely coming back here for my next visit.

If I had to say something for this, one night there was a group of young boys (maybe school going or a little older?) in our corridor being quite loud. I was puzzled as I thought I was staying at the quiet part of the hostel, however, the noise settled down after a couple of hours and it wasn't even that late at night so it wasn't bad.
