Nestled in Lake Erie, this charming house for $546 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Sleeps 1 to 18 people if rented in full. The House is comprised of 3 Units which can be rented in full or rented individually (6 People). This property is located on the shores of Lake Erie in scenic wine country. Walk out your front door and the lake in with in 50 feet for your enjoyment. Each apartment has a bedroom with a queen bed, a bedroom with two twin beds and a futon in the living room. There are many wineries you can visit and taste wine from our local vineyards. We offer a private beach where one can stroll and look for beach glass or just listen to the waves. The quaint town of North East offers unique shops and restaurants to spend your days relaxing. We have excellent fishing on the lake and in nearby streams. This includes Perch, Walleye, Bass, Trout and Steelhead fishing. North East Marina is close by as well as access to public stream fishing. The best part about this property is that we could be together when we wanted to, and we could retreat to our own comfortable, clean apartments when we wanted our own space. The location on the lake is ideal for sunsets and kids skipping rocks in the water after being at the beach all day. We’ve stayed here before and plan to return next year.

Great place in a great location

My husband, grandson and I along with 3 of my siblings stayed in 3 apt rentals for a family reunion. It's a pretty location with picnic tables and two decks. There was enough space for eating together and playing games outside. We took morning walks in the quiet neighborhood. Good location for day trips to Presque Isle and Niagara Falls. We all enjoyed our stays.

We really enjoyed this property. 2 minor issues with one of the units and they were resolved within in the hour. Lake views were awesome. Very quiet. Enjoyed using the deck space. We look forward to visiting again.

We enjoyed the stay. Had a bonfire on the beach. The kitchen was a bit disorganized but we only planned on eating breakfast at the house. There were ample towels. It would have been nice if all the units opened up to each other. Units 2 and 3 shared a staircase. The downstairs unit was damp and the humidifier had to run all the time. Unit 1 was the only one with lake view. We would stay there again.

We enjoyed staying at this quaint cottage. We rented 3 of the 4 separate places in the cottage. It worked out well for all to have their own space. We had 6 adults and 6 kids and it worked perfectly. Kids spent hours looking for seaglass and exploring the private access beach. Owners were extremely helpful and easy to get in touch with. We would go back again for sure!

Stay in three units
The property was in a great location we rented three of the apartments. There were some inconsistencies of what was in each apartment as far as kitchen items but because we had three we just borrowed from one of the other ones and it all worked out well. I would stay here again.

Woodmere 2022 family vacation
We rented 3 of the 4 apartments which was a great set up for our families. The apartments were clean and kitchens were well equipped. Someone had reviewed earlier about issues with the shower. We googled the model to figure out you need to pull the faucet ring down to engage the shower head. There were plenty of grills and picnic tables. There were wonderful views from deck from watching boats, sunsets, bald eagles and wave action. There was plenty of room in yard for activities. The neighbors were friendly and helpful with suggestions. The area also has plenty to offer wineries, 9 hole golf course and unique restaurants. The beach is a Lake Erie beach so bring water shoes. Thanks Dave we had a great family memory making vacation!

Great location
Owners were very quick to respond to questions. Property is in a great location. Quiet neighborhood and beautiful scenery. Breath taking sunsets every night, that you can watch from front yard. The owners even texted to check up on my 2 year old grandson that had a bout of the flu. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Nice, clean house right by the lake. Beachfront was great with zero entry into the lake. The deck off unit one gives a beautiful view. We watched awesome sunsets over our Great Lake Erie!!

Fantastic Lake House
This was such a great house for our three families. The apt set ups worked out so well, everything was so nice. The lake was gorgeous (especially the sunsets over the water) we had a lot of fun lounging around in tubes and just sitting by the water as well. The neighbors were so friendly and helpful in their recommendations. Dave was so awesome to work with. He was quick to communicate and really made our whole trip seamless!

Great place!
This place was perfect! We rented all 3 units to accommodate my siblings with their families. All of the kids ranging from 3-17 yrs old had a great time hanging at the private beach and watching the sunrise every night! Enjoyed our morning coffees and grilling our dinners on the deck overlooking the view of the water. Definitely will come back again!

Great Location; Amazing Communication With Owner
This was our first trip using Vrbo, or renting a house like this at all. We have a group of 12 adults (24-32 years of age) that get together once a year. This was by far our best vacation ever. The units were very clean and charming! When we ran into any issues or questions, The owner was quick to reply and make sure we had everything we needed! At one point we couldn't figure out how to use the shower and he sent someone over to show us.
The queen beds were very comfortable, the twin beds less so, but very doable for a week. The kitchens were nicely stocked with common items, including an air fryer which suprised us! Each unit also has a nice Grill! We did bring some of our own equipment only because of our group's size. (Large family size skillets and things, which was needed for cooking for our large group of 12, but the kitchens were nicely stocked for cooking meals of regular family sizes!) We have two elderly dogs, one whom is diabetic and the other with kidney issues. I was glad we were able to bring them, and they enjoyed the water and their time here as well!
The water is SO CLOSE, And being able to sit on the decks and listen to the waves was lovely. We met a few locals in passing, all were kind to us. Very friendly neighborhood. My group is very happy with the experience here, I couldn't have asked for more, honestly. 10/10, we would definitely recommend!!

Perfect space for our needs!
My boyfriend and I stayed the weekend at Ronda’s place while in the area for a dive trip and it was perfect! We were a short drive away from the town of North East and Erie and loved exploring. It was also very nice to be so close to the water and be able to sit outside and enjoy the breeze and sound of the waves. We would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful setting!!!
We had a wonderful extended weekend with great friends. A huge thank you to Ronda for being so cooperative with us, and letting us have 8 people in one apartment. And to future renters, keep the "painted rock" fad going. We all enjoyed breaking out our creative sides. There are quite a few that we hid around the apartment building 😉

Perfect location and very clean
My communication with the owner Rhonda was great. When ever I emailed or called her she was always available and very nice. the location is very nice and a quiet community, the beach entrance is right out of the front door. The apartment was very clean and had ample towels and everything I needed . I can't wait to come back and bring my family.

Great place to take the family
We rented 2 apartments for a long weekend, everything that we needed was in the apartments and very clean. The kids loved that the water was so close and we even seen a bald eagle one evening off of the deck. We will definitely we coming back again.

Everything you need is in the apartment and the beach was a hit!
Our family, including kids and grandkids, rented three of the four apartments for a week. All the apartments were stocked with everything you would need and the owner delivered clean linens mid week. The private beach is stoney but a little creek that flowed into the lake kept our grandkids (ages 4-8) busy everyday. They never tired of watching and catching minnows and water walkers! We spent a day in nearby Niagara Falls where we rode Maid of the Mist and went to Presque Isle for a day. We shared meals on the large deck of one of the apartments. The owner is very attentive to guests needs! Very nice.

Comfortable, spacious apartment right across from the beach
My family and I (2 adults, 2 kids) have stayed here twice in the last four years and have thoroughly enjoyed it both times. The apartment is clean and well-furnished. The air-conditioning is wonderful on the humid summer days! We really enjoy sitting on the back deck & grilling, and the short walk to the private beach. Plenty of parking, friendly neighbors, beautiful area!

Great Vacation
We loved our vacation. The location was perfect for us. Each morning we walked the beach looking for heart shaped rocks & sea glass. (We had to visit the post office & send a box of our finds home). Several evenings, we had a fire on the beach & roasted marshmallows. It was an easy location to drive to Niagara Falls, Amish country, Chautauqua Institution & Erie. Rhonda is a great person to work with & was quick to respond to any questions.

Perfect for us
Nice well maintained property about 100 yards from a private beach on Lake Erie. Not a 5 star resort but, it has everything you need for your stay. You'll be well rest after falling asleep while listening to the waves crash the beach in the super comfy beds. A/C is a little noisy at night. Clean linens and everything you need for meals. Great communication with the owner.

Peaceful paradise
We had the best time staying here. The view of the lake is so beautiful and the sunsets were stunning. The apartment itself was well stocked and the perfect size. It had everything we needed. We'll definitely recommend this place to others and hopefully stay again someday.
