Beautiful property, spacious rooms, really lovely meals in the restaurant (which is open for dinner in contrast to what Google said), great breakfast and coffee.

The bathroom was open, like wide open. Fine for the shower and bath but the toilet :/

Lovely old property with a fresh update. Travelling as a married couple, so the open bathroom was fine with us, but may be challenging for young romantics. 😂

The open toilet in the Lulu room was odd

The Oak and Anchor is beautifully renovated with spacious, light rooms, the most sumptuous bed, quality linen and products. Breakfast is delicious and the staff excellent. Interesting that we stayed here 40+ years ago for the second Port Fairy Folk Festival! Can't believe the amazing and tasteful transformation!

The toilet was not isolated in the room much too open plan no privacy for toileting. Could be embarrassing and challenging for people.

The breakfast was lovely, the location fantastic. The bathtub was gorgeous with beautiful products to use. The room has lovely high ceilings and is very comfortable. The staff were also very helpful and professional.

The only drawback to the room is that the toilet/bathroom is not private. When you are using the toilet you are visible to your partner as the room is open plan without a door separating the living space from the bathroom. There is a folding screen to act as a bit of privacy but it is see through and doesn't account for smell and sound! This is rather confronting/uncomfortable for both parties. The shower and bath tub are also open but not so much of an issue.
