Located in Vincentia, this attractive house for $314 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Rowse House, Hyams Beach - 4pm check out Sundays and Public Holidays, except Peak Season Rowse House is a casual and comfortable holiday home in a prime location - across the road from a park, with great views from both levels of Jervis Bay and beautiful Chinaman's Beach! Sleeping nine people across four bedrooms, this double storey, somewhat classic beach house home is a great option for your holiday. Strictly no parties at this property – please. You will be evicted if this rule is broken. Please Note There is currently building work taking place next door to this property. The work is carried out between Mon-Fri 7am – 5pm & Sat 8am – 1pm. The project completion date is unknown to our office at this point in time. Peak Season Bookings: 13 Dec 2024 and 23 Jan 2025 - Minimum 7 night booking - Arrival and departure on a Saturday. If booking online, please search for vacancies with Saturday being the arrival and departure day. Peak Season bookings are most easily made directly with our Bookings Team. Where will I be? Across the road from the only park in Hyams Beach and with lovely views across the bay and down to Chinaman's Beach, Rowse House can't be beaten for location. The Hyams Beach Cafe and your pick of three beaches are also within easy walking distance. You are on the prime waterfront strip of Cyrus Street, with no other houses in front. If that wasn't enough, Booderee National Park and the nearby towns of Huskisson and Vincentia are only a short drive away! Why choose Rowse House? Built and owned by the same family since 1951, Rowse House has been a labour of love over the years, and retains much of it original, casual and comfortable charm. It is an older style home but a solid 'crowd favourite'. Sit back and enjoy the ocean views from the lovely deck or upstairs balcony, or let the kids run around in the spacious backyard. How is the property laid out? Entry to Rowse House is from the rear. On the downstairs level is a bedroom with a queen bed, the kitchen, living and dining area, as well as a combined bathroom/laundry and separate toilet. Upstairs there is a bathroom and three bedrooms: two with queen beds, and one with bunk beds and a single bed. Two of the upstairs bedrooms access a balcony with fantastic views of Jervis Bay. There is also a bathroom on the second level. WiFi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it? This property does have WiFi and a username and password will be provided for that in your pre-arrival email. You may use the house WiFi with no guarantee of reliability or bandwidth by us or the owner. If internet access is critical during your stay, please make sure that you have a Plan B. A Google Chromecast has been fitted to the main TV to enable you to login to your own streaming services. What about outdoors? The front deck is fully fenced and accessible via the open plan living area. There is a large backyard with a washing line and plenty of space for some cricket! Please keep in mind if you are bringing your furry friends that the yard is not fully fenced. Staying warm or keeping cool? There are heaters at Rowse House for cooler months, and a pedestal fan for the summer. You can also open the windows and the doors to catch an ocean breeze. What about sheets, towels and other supplies? Pillows, blankets, doonas, linen and bath towels are provided at this property. Please however bring your favourite beach towel! Parking for cars? There is plenty of off-street parking. The driveway is to the right of the house and can comfortably accommodate 3 cars. Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay? Rowse House is a pet friendly home!Please note though that this property is not fully fenced. What are the minimum stay rules? - Peak Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property - Easter: 4 nights - Long Weekends: 3 nights - All other times: 2 nights Are there any special Peak Season rules? Please note that during Peak Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays. We felt like a few days on the coast and were hoping to bring our two dogs. Rowse House is dog friendly and in an excellent location - just across the road from the beach and the beautiful walk between Vincentia and Hyam's. It is an older style house, but that's what we expected and it is very comfortable for a beach break.

Very clean, amazing views and well supplied! Would definitely come back. For a group of up to 6, its absolutely perfect. For more than that, the 2 showers and 2 toilets might be an issue. But personally, the view and location is absolutely worth it!

Whilst this place is in an ideal position, it can do with a major update. Carpet stained and falling apart in places, lounge filthy on arms, bed upstairs falling apart on base. A lot of crockery/cutlery was also dirty on arrival. Great location with a short walk to beach and nice view from balcony.

Super location and view. Just a few steps from Hyams or Chinaman beaches. For a family of five (3 children) very comfortable. Well equipped except you have to bring towels an linen. For more people, additional toilet must be installed. The price for this property is very well. Would rent again.

Cosy and spacious place... the location is amazing the only negative point is that the house only has one toilet and is upstairs... not very comfortable if you have a full house with 9 people, the actually capacity.

We have visited the Rowse House 3 times over the past 12 months. It is beautifully positioned at the quieter Chinamans Beach end of Hyams Beach, right on the front looking through the trees and over the bay, with wide knock-out views from the living areas and two of the upstairs bedrooms. Walks from the house are gorgeous, as is the national park nearby. As you can see from the photos, the house itself is not glam or schmick, rather a comfortable well-furnished holiday home, clearly enjoyed by the owners themselves for decades. There are lots of lovely spots for reading and chatting and mooching, the kitchen is well set up for cooking, and by comparison it is very reasonably priced. Comfort level for 2-4 is excellent, for 6-8 a bit less so, as you'd expect at this price point. All in all, we find it a very pleasurable place to stay.

A nice, clean 4 bedroom property with large living area and great views of Jervis Bay. The mattresses were very comfortable (unlike many holiday homes). the property is showing its age but ver good value for money. I would definitely stay at Rowse House again.

This house is in a great location and has quite a 'family' feel to it. Unfortunately it's not fenced, which means that kids and the dog could not use the backyard. Most of the crockery was dirty and greasy, and some plates had chunks of food stuck to them, which was disgusting. Some towels were also dirty and the upstairs bathroom could use a thorough clean. The house is good value for money if you are willing to wash all the dishes before using them and bring your own clean towels.
