Nestled in North Rustico, this lovely cottage for $275 per night is a great option for your next break. Canada Select Rating 3.5 PEI Tourism License #2203137 New for 2022 Season - Air conditioning available in both bedrooms and cable television! Vince’s Place was originally owned by a local fisherman and is now owned by his son and wife who have used the cottage as their summer home for the past 20 years. Two of the fisherman’s sons operate very successful deep sea fishing businesses in Rustico while his granddaughter operates a very popular summer eatery in Rustico Harbour ( On the Dock Eatery). The cottage borders the National Park and is one of the top locations in PEI for lovers of pristine beaches and fresh seafood with arguably the best seafood restaurant in PEI (Blue Mussel Cafe) only steps from the cottage. Golf courses, kayak and bike rentals, cafes, theatre( watermarktheatre.com) , grocery stores and other amenities are all located within a short walk or drive from the cottage. Be lulled asleep by sound of the ocean and enjoy beautiful sunrises from the deck or directly on the beach only steps away. The views from the upstairs deck of Rustico Bay and the Ocean are breathtaking. You can watch the local fishermen go about their daily work from the upstairs deck. The two bedroom cottage has been extensively renovated over the years to suit a more contemporary lifestyle but still contains remnants of yesterday. From the interior of the cottage , there are wonderful views of Rustico Bay and the PEI North Shore. The cottage is completely furnished and outfitted to suit a relaxing and casual vacation at the beach. The cottage is inspected and licensed by PEI Tourism . The inspector stated in July, 2020, “ beautiful cottage- very clean and tidy. Decor suits location perfectly! “. The cottage is managed by the owners who live nearby and are available to assist. We, the cottage owners have travelled, extensively and highly value a clean and well furnished accommodation, an unique location and the availability of nearby amenities and activities . We can assure our guests these criteria all apply when renting our cottage.

This was a lovely cottage in a quaint fishing village. You can tell the owners, Carl and Rhea take great care of their property. They were very helpful with suggestions of places to see and eat in the area. It's location and views were just perfect...It was everything we could have hoped for.

This was the perfect location: views in every direction without even leaving the cottage, a national park just steps away with breathtaking views, a variety of trails, a 1 min walk to the beach. A nice long stretch of beach to walk on, heading toward the red cliffs of Cavendish Beach. A wonderful multi-purpose trail leading to Cavendish Duneslands. (Be sure to check out the National Park Listings for Cavendish Beaches and the Dunesland). On the harbor side, we enjoyed a picturesque boardwalk, and the company of more great blue heron's than we've ever seen.
The Cottage was sparkling clean, comfortable, beautiful and well- equipped -- allowing us to prepare fabulous meals to take advantage of fresh-caught local seafood.
Host, Carl, met us at the property and gave us a very thorough orientation to the cottage, the area, the restaurants, the "don't miss" opportunities, and he was readily available to answer any questions.
We had picture perfect weather. While the dates of our visit put us solidly in the shoulder season -- meaning many venues or attractions had closed for the season -- we also felt like we had the area to ourselves. No crowds, friendly locals, and the restaurants that were open (just a short walk across the road) were excellent.
We would definitely (and happily) book this property again should our travels bring us back to the lovely Prince Edward Island.

I can't imagine a better place to stay to enjoy PEI national park beaches, Cavendish, or great seafood at the cottage or in the excellent restaurants nearby. The perfect place with everything you need for a relaxing and memorable vacation! Hosts Carl and Rhea were wonderful and helpful.

This charming cottage was a perfect place to enjoy everything we imagined. It was perfect for beach walks, harbor and sea views and coffee at sunrise. We all thoroughly enjoyed this property and the surrounding area in North Rustico. Property was simply incredible offering a spectacular location near many amenities and attractions, including awesome water views and starry nights from every corner. We’re already planning our return and counting the days to relax seaside again. Carl and Rhea were awesome hosts, they were always available leaving us wanting for nothing during our visit. We highly recommend a stay here, you won’t be disappointed.

Perfect spot on the North Shore!
Everything was so exceptional it’s hard to know where to start!
The location is a wonderful balance of beauty, quiet, charm and convenience. We were on bicycle, and being in North Rustico meant we could cycle on day trips to either side of the National Park (Dalvay one day, Cavendish another). And North Rustico itself is small but mighty in choices for food, the beach, and the harbour. Our favourite meals were from the two restaurants out our door, and from the meals we prepared at home with excellent seafood bought down the boardwalk.
The cottage is spotless, sweetly decorated, comfortable, cool, and well-supplied. The decks are so perfect for finding the sun, shade, view or breeze to your taste at every time of day.
Carl & Rhea run this property smoothly, with genuine kindness and fantastic communication.

My sister and I spent 5 nights in this beautiful cottage. Views from all four sides and walking distance to beach, restaurants, town & bike/kayak rental.

Charming cottage, right beside the beach and the harbour
Rhea and Carl have created a lovely holiday rental in this old fisherman's cottage. Everything was spotlessly clean, the kitchen was spacious and well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and we particularly enjoyed the bright airy sitting room, with views to the harbour and beach all around us.
The location is great for visiting the island; the coastal drives, Charlottetown, various attractions inland, are all accessible on a good road network.

Beyond expectations!
My husband and I were looking for a relaxing holiday by the sea. We are so grateful to Rhea and Carl. They were helpful, welcoming and very kind. Their cottage was perfect for us! It was exactly as advertised! The views from every space were spectacular. The location: a quaint, charming fishing village, boardwalk along the bay and protected parkland, all perfect for enjoying the beach and the ocean. We plan on returning!

This cottage was clean, cozy and a perfect base for all our PEI adventures. The hosts were there to greet us upon arrival to show us around. The check ins and updates throughout our stay were appreciated. The cottage and village had everything needed to stay in and cook for ourselves but with so many great restaurants near by it was the perfect combination of dining in and eating out. The location to the beach can’t be beat and the ocean views and salty breeze made everyday magical. 100% plan to return.

Such a great experience. The hosts thought of everything you might possibly need while staying in their clean, cozy and extremely well organized cottage. Ocean on one side and harbour on the other guaranteed beautiful views from any of the decks.

We enjoyed our stay very much the cottage was spotless when we checked in. Communication with hosts was excellent and they were always quick to respond to any inquiries. The location is fantastic and we enjoyed all the outdoor space. My only suggestion would be the owners update the living room furniture to include a small couch and small tv. The chairs in the living room were uncomfortable and we did have a few rainy days with kids. Otherwise we had an excellent stay and would definitely stay there again.

Memorable stay by the Oceanside
Property manager is just a fantastic fellow. We were welcomed with a walk through and provided with everything possible to make our stay enjoyable right down to local jam and cheese products. Cottage was meticulously clean well decorated. Location was fantastic. We could enjoy morning coffee on the deck listening to the surf or 2 minute walk to start a morning beach comb ! Fantastic experience. Already planning next year.

This was a lovely cottage in a great location. The hosts were very nice and easy to contact. We would have liked it if there was a tv for during the rainy days. Even though the internet was great we are seniors with only a cell phone to use. However, there were games and books to read and we did enjoy our time there. Would certainly recommend and hope to return next year.

We come to PEI every 2 years and this is the most fabulous place we have ever stayed. The views alone are spectacular and the beach is my happy place. It’s a fantastic location, well stocked and just so sweet! I don’t ever want to leave!! The hosts are so welcoming too.
