Nature and tranquility surround this family friendly home with exterior elevator and gathering spaces on each floor. A well-equipped kitchen and entertainment area provide outstanding sound and sunset views. Ground Level: Features an expanded rec room with TV, CD/Stereo, kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a Bunk set and a full bath. Step outside and enjoy a dip in the hot tub overlooking the Currituck Sound. Mid Level: Has a queen main bedroom, a King main bedroom with whirlpool and large ceramic shower, both with deck access, an additional Queen room with sitting area with futon and TV that shares its bath with a room with a Queen and Twin. There is also a den with TV/DVD, wet bar & fridge. Top Level: Provides a King main bedroom with large ceramic shower and deck access, great room with LCD TV, CD/Stereo, gas fireplace, kitchen with 2 dishwashers and bar seating for 5. There is a great screened porch off the dining area, the perfect place for those steamed crab feasts! Amenities: Hot Tub, Gas Fireplace, 7 TV, 3 DVD, 3 CD/Stereo, Games/Books, 2 Full Size Refrigerators, 2 Bar Fridges, Wet Bar, 2 Microwaves, 3 Dishwashers, Whirlpool Tub, Porta-Crib, Bikes, Screened Porch. Gas Grill, Exterior Elevator, Wheelchair Accessible. The HOA offers trolley service from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Three Oceanfront Pools, Lighted Basketball & Shuffleboard Courts, Game Room & Playground, 8 Outdoor Tennis Courts, sound-side Pool, sound-front Pier, Indoor Sports Center w/ 8 Lane Lap Pool, 2 Racquetball Courts, 2 Indoor Clay Tennis Courts, Exercise/Fitness Room, Game Room, 12P Spa, and Locker Room w/ Saunas. Reduced Green Fees at The Carolina Club & The Pointe Golf Courses. Corolla Light is a Private Community that Requires Guests to Wear Wristbands to Access Community Amenities. Corolla Light Amenities for 12 Guests. Things to Know Fireplaces are available from November 1st through April 1st. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

We enjoy staying in this house in the fall to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Rooms are all good sized and plenty of bathrooms. It is convenient to everything!

Nice 6 bedroom sound view home. Has washer/dryer provided and decent size kitchen. Some furniture slightly worn, but comfortable. 2 dishwashers in main kitchen and small kitchette in basement.

We love Corolla…the authenticity of the Whalehead charm and the family activities through Corolla light! Also the safety of the whole area can’t be overlooked.

Stayed here primarily for the elevator (we had elderly parents staying with us) but the sunsets were absolutely spectacular. All facilities worked great and it was one of our favorite OBX houses from the past three decades of vacationing there.

This is a home that looks much better online than in reality. It’s large and has good living spaces, but is in desperate need of cleaning, upkeep and some updating. The exterior is extremely dirty and unappealing. A simple power wash would work wonders. Several of the bathrooms have grout which has become black and moldy looking. There were not even trash bins in the majority of the bedrooms or baths.
While the views across the sound are beautiful to look at, they are best enjoyed from inside the home. There was a strong stench from the sound and the canal next to the home. The water was not swimmable in the sound due to weeds and yucky foam. The backyard is also covered in goose poop, so not a place your family is able to enjoy.
For reference, we have rented a home in the Outer Banks for our annual family getaway for more than 20 years now, so we know what to expect from rentals in the area.

The best thing about the house is the spectacular view. Great, we’ll equipped kitchen and lots of living space. A pool would make it perfect.

Nice house. Great views. Clean on the inside. Outside of the house had a lot of cobwebs. The bicycles were not rideable. Needed to be fixed. Overall still made the best of it.

I love this house!
Best best best location and the view is beyond breathtaking. I enjoyed every minute of my stay. I loved being on the Sound side of things but that the beach was walking distance - basically across the street. The lighthouse and historic Corolla are also walking distance and you have a view of the Whalehead museum. The location is absolutely spectacular.

Almost perfect!
We adore the house and views. The only 2 criticisms we have are 1) the Keurig is either broken or clogged up. It does not let the water flow through. And 2) the exterior of the house could use a power wash or leaf blower. We had to step through the cob webs and tree trash. But despite these two complaints we will definitely rent it again!!

Spiders hanging at the entrance of the house. Mildew in Bathroom, basement not light as airy as advertised. Dark and musty! Carpet old. Pictures obviously from when it was built in 2001. 45 minute delay in entering house - they were not ready. Not realistic to online listing. Very disappointed for the price we paid. Resort part was beautiful.

This house was perfect for our extended family and we had such a wonderful time here. It was extremely clean inside when we arrived (although the outside could use a good power washing). It had plenty of space for us all to comfortably spread out and it was very well stocked with all everything we needed. The view was amazing and the yard was a real bonus for kids and dogs. The community it’s located in is great, the sound access is perfect, and the beach is a very short walk away. We will definitely be back to this house!

Great Off-Season Vacation!
The house was great - certainly big enough and the view is beautiful, especially sunsets! Very quiet and the nature trail is right in the backyard, right along the Sound. Worth a visit!!

Perfect home.
The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, silverware etc. You can not eat the view from this home. Also convenient to walk to many places. We were able to bring our sweet dog. We love this house!
