The decor and furnishings were of a very high quality
No view and no outside space - not a problem in October but maybe would be in summer.

We found parking ok but could be difficult as it's a busy street.

The location in an old fishing village was lovely. Just a stones throw from the beach. Also very close to the shops, restaurants etc
Parking can be tricky. However, you are made aware of that at the time of booking, so not something to moan about after the stay. We were lucky & managed to get parked close by, each time we arrived back at Coastal Cottage

28-30th January, 2023 - The house was spotless. The owner had obviously spent quite a lot on the fittings / decor. The kitchen was very well appointed with every type of utensil etc. Alan responded very quickly to emails. Lovely spot for us and the dog.
Clocks needed new batteries. That was all!!!

looked tiny from the outside but was huge on the inside. Very comfortable and very modern inside. The Wi-Fi was definitely a must as Cellardyke doesn’t have the best mobile service. Well appointed kitchen, lovely living room and probably the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in.
The only thing that didn’t work was the Amazon stick at the property, thankfully I had brought my own but that’s the only negative I could find.

Spacious high spec cottage in excellent location within the area, the street and property has an amazing atmosphere like going back a few hundred years! very warm heating, easy access
so parking is a hit or miss on the street, worst case scenario we had a 2minute walk but we got parked directly outside 90% of occasions we needed to get parked. I wouldn’t complain about this because it’s a ‘time warp’ period/conservation location so plenty of room to park your boat round the back…

Photos didn't do the place justice. It was quirky, well appointed, comfortable and warm.
The bed was very comfortable with lovely linen. Coffee machine in the kitchen was a nice added bonus. Lovely flowers and items throughout. A lot of thought has gone into the cottage and it really shows.
Loved everything. There was nothing we didn't like or appreciate.

Clean, comfortable and cosy with the central heating being very effective. Kitchen was very well equipped and bathroom was bright and spotless.
parking, which had to be on the street outside the property was very hit or miss.

The location was great you walked in to Anstruther five minutes loved it.
Nothing to me it was perfect

House was beautiful , clean and provided all you needed. Loved it. Although set in a narrow main street it was lovely and quiet
Parking was an issue- not just pertinent to the property but in general. We had dogs and there was no private area - whilst it did not spoil our break it would have been easier. My fault when booking as didn't realise this. Would certainly return but maybe not with the dogs.

Good location, about 100 metres or so to public parking in Anstruther. Daily rate £1.20, so inexpensive, but needed as parking outside property is a matter of luck (and we weren't lucky!)
Comfortable, spacious, clean and well equipped.
Internet connection doesn't extend much beyond living room and 2 bedrooms.

10am check out is a bit early, especially for weekend. Thankfully we were able to extend without any issues.

The location was convenient for walking into Anstruther to catch buses or for places to eat. The Fife coastal path was only a short distance away. The property was very clean.
The parking was tricky at times and because of narrowness of street, cars were parked immediately outside bedroom window. Would have been pleasant to have an outside sitting area. Thought there might have been some milk/‘welcome pack’ on arrival.

The location was great and cottage had everything we needed
