Exceptional hotel, everything was just on a superb level. The room was spacious, clean, well designed, and the sitting area of the room was very comfortable. The breakfast was just great, with many various options, a very good choice of tea and nice coffee. The view from the breakfast room is very nice! The hotel is rather far from the city centre of Göttingen, but it has a good connection to the Nord Campus of the University, so it was very convenient for us.

Das Frühstück ist ein Highlight. Das Personal und die Menschen vor Ort sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Auf Extrawünsche wird immer eingegangen. Das Hotel hat ein tolles Flair und eine gute Ausstattung.

Für mich persönlich ist der Teppischboden in den Zimmer etwas beschwerlicher. Das ist aber persönlichen Gründen geschuldet und hat nichts mit dem Hotel zu tun. Ähnlich verhält es sich mit der Matratze die mir persönlich zu hart ist. Eigentlich gibt es nicht wirklich was zu bemängeln.

It is a wonderful family hotel very close to Gottingen. Personnel super nice and friendly. Everything is modern, beautiful, clean. The best beds we have ever had in a hotel. Easy parking with electric charging. Playground nearby for the kids. Nice breakfast, with a view! And the family restaurant nearby is also very good, with tasty food at fair prices.

Staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. Offered to book a table at a restaurant for us. Modern, comfortable, and clean hotel. View from the 3rd floor dining area at breakfast was fantastic.

Nothing!

Hotel Beckmann offers such an outstanding view over the surrounding city and valley--it is incredible to sit up in the lovely breakfast area on the top floor just watching the trees blow in the breeze or viewing the scenic old church tower nearby. The rooms are indeed well appointed and provided the needed comfort. The breakfast personnel were quite friendly and the delicious buffet presented a mouth-watering assortment of fresh and tasty choices. Also, the quieter location removed from the city centre but still quite reachable by car was ideal for some peace and quiet. Not to be forgotten is the elegant restaurant "Kuckuck" which satisfied with a splendid (even if small) menu and exceptionally well-prepared dishes complemented by fine and warm hearted service. Thank you!

Although the room was clean, there were some small matters of detail in cleanliness or a light not working which one would have hoped to have been more thoroughly checked and repaired or cleaned up before a guest entry. At the end of my visit I was able to pass on these few matters to the desk personnel. Also, a barking dog a few doors down was quite an unpleasant disturbance which lasted throughout the evening but thankfully ended prior to bed time.
