About this condo rental

Situated in Estero Island, this charming condo for $212 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. We're back and better than ever following Hurricane Ian! Fish Bowl Lower is a beautifully renovated 2 bedroom, 1 bath, ground floor apartment located mid island in a tranquil neighborhood. It is just a quick walk to the beach mid-way between two beach access points. We provide hotel quality linens that are always professionally laundered and fresh for your stay. Located in a quiet neighborhood in the much desired Mid-Island, is just short trolley ride to downtown Fort Myers Beach where you find the famous well-known Fishing Pier and Times Square plus plenty of restaurants, pubs, shoppes and entertainment. The kitchen is beautifully upgraded and fully equipped. The dinette area can seat 6 plus there are 3 stools at the counter. Wonderfully comfortable living room has a sofa bed and two chairs plus TV. There is a TV in each bedroom for a total of 3. The bathrooms have been upgraded, and the entire unit has been freshly tiled and painted. There is a hairdryer provided for your convenience. Seven ceiling fans for comfort. The heated pool is shared with the upper level but there is a private grill and washer/dryer. Beach items are provided such as a cart, towels, umbrella & chairs. Roomy lanai for relaxing. Water activities abound with fishing charters, scuba and snorkel adventures, jet ski rentals, para-sailing, etc. Fort Myers, Bonita Springs and Naples are all modern cities with plenty of shopping, dining and sight seeing to experience. While the beach is as inviting as ever, please note that the Fort Myers Beach area is rebounding from Hurricane Ian and not all amenities are available yet. Construction and rebuilding is present on the island and moving fast. The current status of restaurants and other amenities on the island is in a state of change and island amenities may not be available or operating. Estero Island has numerous restaurants and night life for your choosing, and you are in the middle of it all location-wise. Water activities abound, with fishing charters, scuba and snorkel adventures, jet ski rentals, parasailing and other close by things to do. Fort Myers, Bonita Springs and Naples are all modern cities with plenty of shopping, dining and sightseeing to experience. The South West International Airport in Fort Myers is close by for convenience as well. Sorry no spring break groups allowed except families! Dog friendly restrictions and fees apply. Dogs are permitted up to 25 lbs and non-aggressive breeds only with pet fee paid in advance. Limit of two. Fee is $20 per night per dog. STR # 21-0401

When the door lock box would not work, I contacted Coastal Breeze Property and was first told that I was entering the wrong code (which I wasn’t). Then the following day when I had a problem again with the lock, I requested a maintenance person to come fix it, they never sent one. And on the third day, I called with the same problem, the girl I spoke with at Coastal Breeze told me to pull the door towards me when entering the code as a solution. I demanded a maintenance person come out and when he arrived, not only did he agree that the bold mechanism of the lock was catching in the door jam (which he had to remove) but that the reason the lock box wasn’t opening properly as well was because the batteries were almost completely dead. After all of this, at the very end of our stay, I contacted Coastal Breeze to ask for a late check out because our flights got delayed over 6hrs and their reply was that they could give me an hour for an additional $75. We checked out at 10am and spent the next few hours on the beach and when we came back well after 1pm, the cleaning crew hadn’t been there nor were there any new guests which were the reasons we were told we had to pay for one additional hour. I am aware when “peak” season is in FL and if there were guests needing to check in right after us, I also would understand BUT this wasn’t the case at all. We will not be recommending or renting with any properties managed by Coastal Breeze again!

Perfect family getaway
Perfect family getaway
My family of four had a great time while staying in fishbowl lower during spring break. Fish Bowl is located a short 5 min walk to the beach and provides all of the beach gear you need to enjoy this part of the island's quieter stretch of beach. We also enjoyed the tranquil pool right outside our patio door. This is a duplex and so you will be sharing the pool with the upstairs renters. The unit was very clean upon arrival and offered all that we needed to enjoy 5 days and nights relaxing on the beach.

Location is great. The kitchen could be better supplied….We loved having a pool just outside the sliding doors. We rarely saw upstairs people at the pool, probably because they have to walk down stairs, around the side of the house and thru the gate. This is a quiet area of the island which was perfect for us. We rode bikes more than driving b/c traffic could be very bad traveling North. The locals meet at sunset every night to blow conche shells. It was a great way to meet the locals.
