The property is self-check-in, so please carefully read the check-in instructions prior to arrival. Property amenities are lake access, private walkout patio, grill & fire pit, yard games & play equipment, beach chairs and outdoor shower. You have around-the-clock access to your space through our custom-coded keypad deadbolt locks. To ensure your safety, all of our properties are equipped with Ring video doorbell cameras and Noise Aware decibel measuring devices inside the unit (Please note: Noise Aware devices do not have recording features). The Neighborhood: The Beach Club in Oscoda, Michigan, nestled on Lake Huron's northeastern shore, boasts natural beauty, sandy beaches, clear waters, and outdoor activities like fishing, boating, hiking, and camping. It's near parks like Huron National Forest and the Au Sable River. With a friendly, tight-knit community and local shops and restaurants, it offers a taste of local culture. Convenient highway access links it to Alpena and Bay City, making it a peaceful, family-friendly escape. Getting Around: Oscoda is a small, car-friendly town. Public transportation like buses or trains is unavailable, so having a car is recommended for exploring beyond town. Car rentals, taxis, and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are accessible. Biking and walking are common, with various trails, beaches, parks, and recreational areas within easy reach on foot or by bike. Other Things to Note: Safety is a top priority with exterior Ring cameras, NoiseAware devices, and keyless entry systems. Parking lot in the front with ample amount of spaces. With special discounts for extended stays (10% off for weekly stays of 7+ nights and 20% off for monthly stays of 30+ nights) and proximity to key attractions like Au Sable River, Largo Springs, and hiking & outdoor recreational activities, these cottages offer an exceptional opportunity for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. To enhance safety and security, all guests must sign a rental agreement and complete the Enso Connect verification process, which includes ID and selfie uploads. Guests will receive an online boarding pass with access instructions. Property listed as non-pet friendly but we may make exceptions for non-shedding, non-aggressive dog breeds. Pet fees will apply, and a photo of the animal is required prior to booking. No puppies, dogs must be potty trained and under 30lbs. Guests must agree to clean up after pet (indoor & outdoor; fur, food, feces, etc), keep dogs on a leash, or face potential additional fees. Subject to violate any of these terms or conditions, guest will be required to leave property with no refund of reservation. Guests are responsible for maintaining the propane tank and firewood is not provided. The property does not exchange or fill the propane tank after each guest use. Long-term rentals (30 days or more) will require signing a residential rental agreement, renters’ insurance ($6.00 per mo.) and a $1,000 security deposit. Special discounts offered for extended stays: • 10% off of 7 days stay or more • 20% off of 30 day stay or more Enjoy a complimentary starter kit of guest supplies, including coffee, dishwasher pods, trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper. Additional supplies are the guests responsibility. • Cancellations made within 5 days before check-in will receive a full refund minus the 4% credit card processing fee. A refund will not be given for in-stay cancellations for any remaining nights (with the exception of Airbnb) Interaction with Guests: While we respect our guests' privacy, we are always available to assist when needed.
