Nearby Davis is the highest elevation town in WV, and Thomas, just a bit farther north, is blossoming with interesting restaurants and shops too. Plus an outstanding brewery. This is vacation land in the mountains, if you are a newby. Our cozy one-bedroom is perfect for a couple. There is a pull-out couch, but this is not made up, so the extra person or two would need to bring bedding or sleeping bag(s). 4 people would be the absolute maximum occupancy, and really not recommended. The bedroom and carpet are all new, and we'd like to keep it this way. Shoes off at the door is preferable. Help us keep this place fresh and nice for your return visit!! Nice covered deck offers view to the south. Kitchen is pretty well equipped, but BYO slow cooker. Two new Samsung smart TVs. Internet offers "rural reliability," (not the best, especially on holidays or otherwise busy weekends) but your cell phone should work fine for calls or "casting" to the smart Samsung TVs..
