There's also a picnic table and BBQ grill located directly in front of the condo in case you want to grill some burgers or that fish you hope to catch. Runaway Bay is a 13 acre resort complex full of amenities for you and your family or friends to enjoy while on vacation. Resort amenities include: the largest heated pool on Anna Maria Island, a tennis court, shuffleboard, bocce, a fitness center, BBQ grills, kayak launch and a fishing pier. Close by the resort you'll find jet skiing rentals, boogie boarding, parasailing and more. There is also a free trolley that will take you all around the Island. Great condo complex. Everything you need was in the condo. Bed was comfortable.

Very comfortable and homely. The condo had lots of decorative items that were appropriate for a beach holiday and enhanced the stay. Everything was there that we needed for a four week stay. The mattress was very comfortable but the bed base was quite loose and noisy. The blinds were somewhat damaged and a couple of slats were missing or damaged. There was an excellent washing machine and dryer which were very useful. The view was nice from the small private terrace and the pool was lovely with sun loungers round the edge. The description of this property was accurate. The complex was well maintained and we would definitely return.

Our condo was good, location great. Some difficulty with the use of remote for television. Had to use 2 different Spectrum remotes, one for guide and channel and the other for volume. A nuisance! We left the unit in great shape as we always do, hung the parking pass on the back of the door where it was when we got there. Two days later got a charge of $200 for a parking pass that they said was not returned. We certainly did not have it so are in a dispute and cancelling the charge with the credit card company.

Spent five weeks here and loved the property and location. Property was very comfortable and looks just like the pictures. Was a little surprised that the pool closed at 6:00 p.m.

Very cute condo. Functional layout. Nice decor. Could update the bathroom towels. Excellent location to the pool and beach. The dock on the inter coastal was very enjoyable. Other residents and guests were very cordial. Great location on the island for restaurants souvenir shopping.

Only disappointed that pool was closed,wish it was told to us ahead a time. Heard pool won’t be open for another month

When we arrived an upstairs neighbor informed us the pool was closed for renovation and the pathway to the beach was blocked and required a detour around another building. We are two 71 year olds that chose this condo for its location close to the pool and a short walk to the beach. No way! Neither was the current situation.

Wonderful stay in a homely condo in a great location
We stayed for 8 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The location of the unit is incredibly close to the excellent outdoor pool area, around a 20 second walk away! The location of the complex, less than 5 minutes from the beach and with a trolley bus stop (a free service) right outside, was perfect for us too. For our evenings out we never needed to use our car. The condo was extremely well equipped (including all the beach stuff we could possibly need), very clean and very comfortable. Also a nice little spot at the back of the condo, next to water, where we could play cards and enjoy a quiet drink. Highly recommend.

Everything at condo was as described and shown in pictures.
We were flying from Philadelphia. We would recommend owner purchase 2 new beach chairs that recline. Also would have played pickle ball on the court but no paddles were provided.

I would say this property was almost perfect. The location of the unit on the property was perfect - it was mere steps to the pool. The unit was spotless. Everything you could ask for in the kitchen was there. I especially loved the bed, but not so much the pillows, but I’m very fussy with my pillow. The reason for my reluctance to give it 5 stars was the air conditioning. The thermostat does not go past 73°. This was fine in the daytime, but I need it cold to sleep. Because it was cooler at night while we were there, we slept with the sliding door a little open - which wasn’t ideal because someone could have gotten in if they wanted to. Another thing that rubbed me the wrong way was the response I got when asking the property manager if we could stay on property (not in the unit- but at the pool) until early afternoon because our flight didn’t leave until late afternoon. The response was a curt no. I suppose I could have just done that without saying anything, but we made other arrangements. Even so, I will definitely rent this unit again.

Very nice property. Walk to beach within 5 minutes
Property recently updated. Close to beach/pool. A couple issues with cabinet doors coming loose. Also complex shut off water 2 days during our stay
We were not notified by rental company, only by other residents. Traffic on weekends in the area very heavy.

They said the key would be in the condo. Upon arrival and with mail already being forwarded from the USPS, the rental agent refused to get us a key. Why?? No answer.

The pool closes 30 min before sunset which is monitored by the full time residents that live there. It does not close at 10 pm like my rental agreement stated. Also if you rent a golf cart while you are there it can not be electric, it must be gas powered. This was also not listed on the rental agreement. Luckily the company I rented from had a extra or we would have been without transportation. Overall great property though for a couple wanting a get away.
