Hello! Just one block from the bay, this quiet and cozy beach house with private parking and patio is ideal for anyone who wants a coastal getaway, while still being close enough to the attractions, restaurants, shopping, and nightlife of San Diego. We have all the amenities you need, with a comfy King bed, a large private patio w/ BBQ, 2 bikes, 2 paddleboards, and a kayak too. Walkable to restaurants, parks, the bay, and the beach, your perfect vacation is a click away! We also have Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN as well as other free Roku apps on both the living room and bedroom TVs! **Our parking spot is narrow so big trucks or SUVs may not fit. There are usually spots on the side street (Fanuel) if this is the case. This is a lower unit, so you will occasionally hear guests moving around upstairs. However, this is a very quiet area in general, with very respectful and professional neighbors and we do enforce quiet hours from 10pm to 8am daily. **

We came to help our kids with their new home and DIY projects. We loved this as a comfortable landing spot in the morning and nights. We wish we could have used the toys that are available. They are what attracted us to the place near the beach. It’s just like the picture shows, bikes and boards.
Kevin was an incredible host. He was very responsive since I registered under a different email address than my normal VRBO address. VRBO could not fix it so Kevin was great prior to us arriving and throughout our stay. He even stopped by instead of texting when I was confused with the laundry door code. Double digit buttons which I probably would have figured out if I took the time. But he opened it for us.
The bed was comfortable and I was able to stay up and work while my husband retreated to the bedroom. The couch was comfortable so I could watch a great selection of shows while on the computer. The table and desk were available for work as well. The WiFi was able to keep up with my online classes and streaming videos I created.
We walked down the beach frontage and to the Flamingo bar (Miami Dolphin fans) definitely have to go here. Try their signature drink Flamingo Espresso Martini. It is so good!
We used Lyft a lot so left from the apartment complex on 4115 Fanuel St. because of the alley location. We did not wait more than 2 minutes for a ride. We did like the alley entrance because it was very quiet.
It was very clean and cozy, we will be back.

This was a perfect spot for an ocean and bay getaway. At first, I thought it might be far from the boardwalk, but it was really just a quick and wonderful bike ride away (bikes included). The hosts were thoughtful and attentive and the place had everything we could need…right down to Q-tips and wine on the ready We will absolutely stay here again. And next time we’ll stay long enough to take advantage of the kayak and paddle boards!

We had a great time staying here! The location is perfect and we really enjoyed the bikes and other recreation items available. Makes to super easy to get around Pacific Beach and Mission Beach with no car which we loved!

This property was everything as advertised and more! The host's attention to detail inside the home made the property even better than advertised. We biked everywhere and loved the paddleboards. And the bed was sooo comfortable. Location, location, location - all was GREAT! Thank you

Excellent—except for Hurricane Hillary, no fault of our hosts. Bungalow was exactly as advertised. Backyard w/fence was perfect for our two mellow mutts—shade + sun. Space is just right for couple w/dogs. Compliments to the owner for beach design touches and thriving succulent garden, even w/canine visitors. We’d love to go back.

We had a very nice stay. Close to the beach for morning walks and not too far to walk to shopping and restaurants. The patio is perfect - private and quiet. Parking was no problem. We hope to return soon!

Just a couple of blocks from the beach and near lots of bars/restaurants and shops all with a great beach vibe! Our patio was lovely and has bikes and kayaks for use. We just walked the beach and neighborhood. Home was clean nicely appointed and well stocked with linens toiletries and kitchen staples.

We loved our stay in Chris’s place! Location was great for us - so close to the beaches, but far enough away from too much hubbub. Plus, easy walk to restaurants, and pubs. Chris was a very responsive host. Answered all our questions quickly. We enjoyed the patio a lot and use of the cruiser bikes was a nice treat. Wish we could have tried the paddle boards, but the weather was a little too cold. Inside was plenty big enough for the two of us. Bed was comfy. Thanks Chris! Would definitely stay here again!!

The condo is very comfortable perfect for 2 people. The neighborhood is very safe and very close to the Bay but right outside of the condo the city was doing road work that started at 7 AM until 4 PM not the quiet relaxing sounds I expected. Not the owners fault just wish I had a heads up.

This awesome place was perfect for the beginning of our west coast anniversary adventures! It was clean, well equipped and the location to the bay and pacific beach was ideal! We loved having the bikes (and if we had more time would’ve enjoyed the paddle boards too)! The back porch was great for relaxing as well. Chris has thought of everything and even surprised us with a bottle of champagne for our anniversary! Highly recommend - loved our San Diego experience!

WELL-MANAGED PROPERTY WITH GREAT LOCATION CLOSE TO BAY/PARK/BEACH
Chris has thought of everything and is very responsive so for sure you will be comfortable staying in this cutely decorated place! Even though there are close neighbors, we felt like we had good privacy. My daughter loved having the park/playground a block away, we were able to ride bikes on the path next to the bay, and it was an easy walk down the street about 15 minutes to the beach.

This is the best rental we've experienced, by far. It is easy to see why Chris is a super host! We stayed for over two months, so we really appreciated the comfortable bed and seating, the well appointed kitchen, and perfect location for enjoying both the bay and beach. Well done Chris!
