About this house rental
Nestled in Lake Keowee, this charming house for $1,157 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Escape to an inviting cabin with expansive 180 degree big water views of lake Keowee. Point lot with 295 ft frontage. Mostly flat grassy area right up to the water, and an easy gentle walk to the water from the house. Steps to water with your own private sandy beach area at top of steps.- this is where we keep our three paddle boards for your use. We have a dock for swimming or parking your boat and a gazebo on the shoreline. Large brand new dock installed May 2022. Brand new hot tub located on lower level back deck. Plenty of parking for your cars. Or you can rent our 2007 Azure AZ200,. Permanently parked on right side of dock ready for use during your stay. However there will still be room to park your boat on left side of our dock. Main level living space is an open floor plan among the living room, kitchen and dining space with plenty of comfortable seating and different vantage points for lake views. There is a floor to ceiling stone fireplace with gas logs shared by the living room and master bedroom. Knotty pine walls and rustic decor compliment the cabin feel. Master bedroom is on the main level with king bed, master bathroom and walk in closet. Also on the main level is another bathroom and two bedrooms - one with queen bed and one with full sized bunkbeds. Downstairs is another living area with 65" TV, pool table, bathroom and two bedrooms - one with King and one bunk room with 4 twin sized beds plus a trundle bed with two additional twin mattresses making 6 beds total. Downstairs level walks out onto huge lower level deck with outdoor seating/dining space, gas fire table, and brand new hot tub. We have separate heating and cooling systems (both replaced 2021) for upstairs and downstairs, both controlled with wifi thermostats. There are a lot of indoor and outdoor games to enjoy and as our guests we encourage you to try as many as you’d like - Basketball hoop, pool table, ladder golf, yard size jenga, yard Yahtzee, board games and dominos, puzzles. Kitchen is equipped with all cooking needs and complimented with two grills on the front porch - one full sized gas grill with 6 burners and one 18" Komodo Joe smoker. Our house is located at the end of a cul de sac with about 10 houses on our street. There is no through traffic so our kids enjoy safely and responsibly riding bikes, skateboards or scooters in the street. We are 19 minutes to Clemson, 11 minutes to Seneca, 14 minutes to hikes and cute downtown of Wahalla. We are also conveniently located on the south side of Lake Keowee - close to Lake Keowee Marina and The Tiki Hut, one mile drive from Cane Creek Boat Ramp. There is an island directly across the lake with sandy swimming beach. Our favorite part about the house is feeling like you are on a cruise ship - house is close enough to the water and elevated just enough that while sitting in the main level living space you will see only big open water views - no visible land between the house and water. You can also enjoy a full sunrise and sunset view from the house in winter. During summer the sunset view is great from the right side of the deck, from the hot tub, or from the dock which faces west.

Great location with a BEAUTIFUL VIEW. Nice and clean with lots of space to spread out. A little chilly this year - so not much time outside, but on the sunny warmer days we did get to enjoy the beach fire pit and upper outside deck. The Kids enjoyed the HOT TUB and the pool table was a hit as well!
Host Carter was great and very responsive when needed. This is our third year staying on the lake and the view here was the best.

Wonderful place to stay with family of all ages. Even in November we enjoyed kayaking, the hot tub, eating on the porches, and a bonfire with s'mores. Great location for us near other family in the area. Beautiful lake views, sunsets, migrating birds, boaters, fishermen and more and nature hiking nearby.

We had a wonderful stay at the spacious log cabin. Great communication with the property owner, a beautiful location with amazing lake views and lots of amenities to keep the entire crew entertained. We enjoyed a few days at the house taking advantage of the beautiful lake and used it as a launching pad for game-day at Clemson, which worked out great.

We have family in 4 different places and we all met at the lake house for one of our favorite family vacations. The house was perfect for us. Plenty of room to spread out. And the house was so well stocked with everything we needed. And the beds were all super comfortable. But the best part for us was the backyard and the lake. It is stunning! The online pics don’t really capture how beautiful it is. The water was warm and we spent most of our time on the dock and playing in the water. We enjoyed the PWCs the most! But we used the canoes and paddle boards too. Carter was amazing to work with and answered all of our questions. He was responsive and went above and beyond as a host. He takes excellent care of his property and it shows. All of us left trying to figure out when we can return. We will be back!

The place was great. We had 8 adults and 2 grandkids under 3. Plenty of room. All of the adults had their own bedroom. Lots of space to hang out. Dining room table was great for meals and playing games. There is a new dock/boat house which was ideal for playing in the water. There was even enough flat areas for setting up corn hole and badminton (not regulation) areas. There were lots of water toys (kayaks, SUP's) available. Everyone loved it.

We can't wait to vacation here again! It's a perfect lake home with lots of space and an ideal layout for families with kids/teens. The house had everything we needed - two washers/dryers, pots, pans, utensils, pool table, games, hot tub, fire pit, and the list goes on and on. We especially enjoyed morning coffee on the master deck overlooking the lake and gorgeous landscape, and evening drinks by the firepit taking in all the nature around us! We spent most of our time on the large dock swimming, playing on the floating mat, and paddle boarding/kayaking. We also rented the PWCs and the boat for a few days which took our stay to the next level! The water is so clear/clean, location is ideal, and Carter and Gina were the best owners we've ever encountered - great communication, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. We cannot wait to come back next summer!

Great views and ideal location. The owners were accommodating with any issues or questions. The property was well maintained and many lake ‘toys’ to play with! The boat was a great addition to take advantage of with a Marina/Tiki Hut Bar very close by.

Unfortunately, it seems that previous guests were very hard on the house as it was not thoroughly cleaned and a number of items were not put away. Also, several items have been heavily used and warrant replacement. Owner was responsive; and provided a 9-page check-in & house instructions prior to our arrival.

From beginning to end this house did not disappoint! The location, the amount of activities you can do while here is perfect for family/ friends gathering. Home owner has a boat and PWCs you can rent which was a big bonus to have right on hand. Marina is also close by .
Communication with owner was easy and pleasant. The house has everything you would need on a vacation. Town is a quick 15-20mins drive to anything essential you may forget and need to grab, as well as a few restaurants and even some delicious ice cream. Overall, this was one of the best vacations our families have had ! We will definitely be coming back to this home !

Took the entire family to Lake Keowee near Clemson to visit our student. We had a great time and Clemson was an easy commute. The fishing, paddle boarding, swimming was great. The house had space for everyone young and old.

We stayed over New Year's and this property is a perfect spot for a getaway. The views are undeniably gorgeous and there are some fun things to do in the area if you need to get out for the day. Carter was extremely responsive and I would highly recommend renting this home.

My family and I booked this property to make a long weekend out of a one day event. My nephew’s All-Star football game was being hosted in Seneca and we thought it would be nice to make the road trip worth our while. We could not have picked a better property for this purpose. It fit our family comfortably, had everything we needed (and more!), and the host made everything extremely hassle-free. Everyone was able to do what they wanted whether it was fishing, reading by the fireplace, reading outside, or relaxing in the hot tub. We also had enough space to come together and host a quiet celebration of my nephew’s team winning State Champions with our family and a couple of his teammates and their family. The host was extremely accommodating and was always available if we had questions. Everyone agreed that we’d love to come back to this property in the summer and thoroughly enjoy this piece of lake life paradise in warmer weather.

The house was clean and the layout was perfect to accommodate our annual Clemson game / family reunion. The house is located close to campus (~20 minutes).

It was a last minute rental and the property owner very accommodating and helpful. The property is at a great location on the lake and the kids loved the jacuzzi and little beach area and fire pit at night. We rented the owners boat for the day and had a blast! Great family rental !!

This house is in a great location with a lot of great outdoor spots. The beach, dock, deck and patio are beautiful and we enjoyed using the hot tub as well. The views are amazing! The house had lots of great space for hanging out with family. The upstairs baths and kitchen are a little dated and 2 bedrooms upstairs are very small but the downstairs has been completely redone. The master bedroom was very nice and large with great views.
The owner was excellent to work with and messaged back quickly if I had a question. A great place for a family stay!

Great experience and great location! Big water views on south end of Lake Keowee and very short boat ride to Lake Keowee Marina. We rented the owner’s boat which was great for wake boarding/tubing and exploring the lake. Very close to Seneca with convenient access to grocery stores, restaurants, etc..Carter (owner) was very easy to work with and helpful. Will definitely consider staying there again!
