Bogie's Villas is a very peaceful, quiet place to stay with a great view. Conveniently located close enough to the Windmill Bar for beautiful sunsets and cocktails. We've stayed here many times and will continue to do so!

We had the best time at Bogie's on our honeymoon! The Calf Rock studio was perfect for two. If you are not renting a car it can be challenging to secure a taxi, but eventually one will drive past the property. We were feeling adventurous and decided to hike the trail to Honeymoon Beach - KC's description on the property website was easy to follow and very helpful!

Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, listening to the island life serenade us to sleep, wake us up, and keep us company when not enjoying the amazing beaches! KC went out of her way to accommodate our request to refrigerate meds we brought, agreeing to meet with us and place in our room several hours before check-in, and giving us great options for places to enjoy while we waited for our room to be readied (encouraged to explore Coral Bay, and ended up snorkeling with a 4ft turtle and its offspring out at Hansen Bay Beach!!). Great place to stay, very attentive hosts, and would definitely recommend…just make sure you’re confident driving jeeps up steep inclines and mountain roads…was pretty fun and definitely doable!

My wife Nicole and I booked this trip as a last minute decision looking for a relaxing time away. This was my 5th time and her 3rd time visiting St. John over the last 15 years and we have done various forms of lodging. Larger homes or villas with big groups of friends, a resort stay for our honeymoon, and now a multi-guest villa through AirBnB at Bogie's Villa. Great reviews, a great price, and positive word of mouth from a mutual friend made booking a room a no-brainer. Offering spaces for larger groups (full families or friend groups), spots for couples, and even the lone traveler, Bogie's is a peaceful, quiet, and truly relaxing spot off from the main routes of the island, while still being close to the hot spots of Cruz Bay and a fairly quick drive to the best beaches and hiking trails. We stayed in the Calf Rock apartment. A perfect spot for a romantic getaway or a fun hang with a couple friends. A bed and 2 small couches are provided in the living area. Full kitchen and dining spaces, and a nicely sized bathroom are all included in the space. It's on the lower level of the complex, and still has a good view of that side of the island (and of the mango and papaya trees growing right outside). A laundry space, pool, patio and grilling area are available to all guests as well. The pool is on the smaller side, but it's perfect for lounging in and watching the sun set. You will surely be greeted by one or all three of the cats that hang around the villa. They are sweet and won't bother you beyond looking for a head scratch. We came to call them Winky, Wheezy, and the Gray One. Owners KC and Basil are wonderful and will accommodate requests to the best of their ability, but the villa comes with everything you will need for your stay, so requests will surely be few and far between. There is plenty of parking (we suggest backing into the lot every time), but if the lot is full, KC & Basil will make sure there is a spot for you. Zero complaints about our stay and unless we decide to do something drastically different on a future trip, I see no reason to not stay at Bogie's again. We aren't sure when the next time is we will make it down, but the owners of Bogie's Villa made our most recent stay as nice as ever.

We enjoyed the pool several times, with no one else ever around, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Breathtaking view from the pool, clean, comfortable, accommodating. My second trip here within a year almost to day. I brought my kids this time and they loved exploring even just around the villa with the different creatures and cats that are very friendly. Didn’t have any problems because the owners make sure you are taken care of and are available if for any reason you need some help. The first and only place I’ve stayed because of how nice it is.

Bogie's Villa, Calf Rock was perfect for us because we wanted to snorkel and hike all over St. John's so the location was ideal. It is only 10 min. from Cruz Bay. The property is well maintained and up-to-date. There is a pool, grill to use which we did and also a washer and dryer. Calf Rock was a great price and the amenities were very useful/helpful. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again. The owners gave us detailed information which was very helpful. The property is clean, quiet, and felt like home. The kitchen had everything we needed. I would recommend a Jeep if you are planning on exploring the island.

We had a very peaceful and adventurous time on St. John. The villa was in a good location, everything had modern updates, and clean! We enjoyed meeting and visiting with KC's mom who was there on vacation as well! We enjoyed walking the residential area across the street in the mornings for sunrise view over the water. Exploring the island by day, and relaxing by the pool for a spectacular sunset!

I stayed in Calf Rock for two full weeks in April. The room was super clean and was well equipped with everything I needed, including a full kitchen, and other amenities such as sunscreen, beach towels, chairs and a small ice chest. Bogies Villa is in a great location and came with a parking space. It was a nice 50 minute road and trail walk to Honeymoon Beach which was very convenient. The room was quiet and I especially liked the pool and using the gas grill. KC checked to make sure I was settled in okay and brought over an air mattress when company came to visit for a few days. She even went so far as to buy a new set of pillows for them. Bogies Villa is an excellent place and the owners are very accommodating. I'm already planning for my next trip back!

Perfect for a quick staycation

Beautiful apartment with every item you might need. The location is great and easily accessible via the bus line. The unit was extremely clean and comfortable. We had a great stay here and we will book this place again.

Perfect for a quick staycation

My wife and I needed accomodation for one night while on St John and this studio was available. It was very nice and clean as advertised. Communication from the owners was excellent. Only hiccup was we did not have our own transportation that day so we took a cab to the studio - no problem......it was a bit tougher finding a ride back to town the next morning as not as many cabs are operating. One of the cab companies that was recommended by the owners was not running but they did make some calls to others on our behalf and found us a ride to town. Just be aware of this and line up a ride ahead of time. Overall the property was excellent and we would certainly recommend to others.
