the location was sensational and proximity to the beach and creek fabulous

no smoke detectors really annoying looking at a clothes dryer still in it’s box on a rainy day needs some TLC

The location, whale highway, access for paddle boarding and bike riding. A dip in the sea or the river. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of plates and utensils. Two drawer dishwasher. Garage storage for bikes and paddle boards. Great deck. Nice little village. The Bakery / Bar is a treasure. Even the hoses to wash off the boards or your feet.

Some minor things didn't work like a few fans and power points. Internet and phone networks were sketchy. A few burners on the stove didn't work either. All these were really minor things and didn't detract from the stay, but you may want to fix these for next hirer.

Location was amazing.

Some mould in bathrooms and on backs of curtains - property needs a deep clean in some areas - very musty - particularly in children bedroom. Needed more blankets/ warmer bedding for the winter season. Inconvenient to have to collect / return house keys from Kingscliff 20 minutes away - should have a lock box on site.

stay would be improved with a few basic supplies provided - tea, coffee, salt, pepper, cooking oil and a small amount of milk to enable a cuppa on arrival
