Great location. Kid friendly - toys for kids and pack and play cribs available. Only wished for more seating/lounging furniture in TV room, only small Couch available but large dining room table available. I very much enjoyed my stay.

House was comfortable, in a great location and had necessities for traveling with kiddos, I.e. toys and a pack n’ play… they even had a couple toddler hiking back packs! Great place, highly recommend!

Nice small home with adequate facilities and space. Great location. Our last day Hurricane Lee struck with rain and wind. The fact that there is no cellular signal there was a problem. When the wifi is working it is not a problem, but power was lost from noon to 2 am. There is a signal a block or so away, but. not pleasant in rain and wind. That day the locked basement flooded and the gas can stored there tipped over creating a smell in the house that worried us. Contacted owner in California who contacted her maintenance man who could not be bothered to look into the problem. Owner called 911, firemen showed up, ripped off the basement door and took the gas can away. Not a great experience. I think the house could use some TLC. Almost all doors could not be closed without slamming them very hard. Since they are wooden, the problem could easily be remedied. Still, the house and location were very good, and the hurricane was not anyone's fault.

What a great property!! We had such a peaceful and relaxing time visiting Acadia and exploring the island communities. The house was in great shape and had everything we needed. It was away from the crowds of Bar Harbor but central to everything.
