Nestled in Tahoe Vista, this attractive cabin for $904 per night is a great option for your next vacation. *Reservation is confirmed at the time of booking. Refunds are not offered for cancelations made within our cancelation policy of the reservation, even dropping days. There are no refunds due, regardless of cancellation cause, including but not limited to cancellation as a result of poor snow conditions, severe weather events, poor air quality, road closures, traffic delays, early departures, illness, injury, any Covid-19 related travel decisions when there is not an active local stay at home order, or mechanical breakdown.* Welcome to Alpine Chalet! This well appointed private home is located off of Sahara Drive in Carnelian Bay, equal distance to Northstar and Squaw Valley and 3 minutes to Lake Tahoe. Enter the home via the covered stairs to the side door on the second story. The great room space offers plenty of room for your group and is furnished with an oversized sectional couch and dining table for eight. Large picture windows frame the south facing wall and bring the outside in. Rounding out this open concept floor is a bright and airy kitchen with breakfast bar for four and a sliding glass door that leads to a large wrap around deck with a hot tub. Down the hall, two king bedrooms shared a bathroom equipped with a bathtub/shower combo and double vanity sinks. From the entry way, journey down the stairs to the ground floor. Two additional king bedrooms are offered and share a bath, mirroring the upstairs configuration. In addition, there is a fabulous bonus bedroom or den, perfect for the kids. They'll enjoy their own space at the end of the hall. This playroom offers two twin trundle beds (sleeps 4 kids), smart tv with Nintendo and Wii, games, books and toys. A private bath with bathtub/shower combo is available. What we love about this property is the convenient location, extra large deck with pine tree views and hot tub, and modern and minimalist finishes throughout the home. For example, weather and harsh conditions have knocked out Wifi and the power before. While these instances are rare, we please ask that you are patient as these are things that we unfortunately cannot control. While we will try to accommodate all requests, we handle refunds for situations like this (power outages, appliances breaking, etc.) on a case by case basis. We will do everything we can to insure the hot tub is in working condition prior to arrival. In the event that the hot tub is inoperable during your stay, we offer a 10% discount on the nightly rate. No other discounts or concessions will be offered.

The house was everything it promised to be. The rooms were spacious, plenty of space for our crowd of 7 adults and 2 pre-teens. The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of resources to prepare all our meals. Our only wish was that the property had provided an option to call for snow removal service. But shovels sufficed.

Overall I was very impressed with this rental. There are 4 bedrooms with all king beds, so it was really comfortable for 4 couples. The play room is really nice. We didn't use the trundle beds, but it was a nice space. We were 8 adults and 2 infants and the space was really ideal. Quiet neighborhood, close to Kings Beach and Tahoe City. Really enjoyed the hot tub and the deck. Will definitely be back if we travel with a group of 4 couples again!

Everything was as described and all went smoothly! Location was convenient to Safeway and Kings Beach. Very well stocked and the bathrooms were very clean. King beds comfortable. Fans were provided, but more box fans could be useful if the heat wave continues. Directions for how to keep the house cool during the day were helpful. We enjoyed our family time at Tahoe very much!

Everything about this place was excellent! The entry was seamless and effortless. The house was clean and orderly. The kitchen was well stocked with more than enough dishes for our large crew of 12. The views of the trees were so lovely. The peekaboo view of the lake from the hot tub was a nice bonus. Instructions in the binder were thorough without being too wordy. It was just plain lovely. Period.

We had a wonderful time at this property. Everything was clean and exactly as described. Pictures don't do justice on how spacious the living room is! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for 8 adults. Thanks so much!

We spent 3 nights in this property with family and friends and I must say that everything was excellent. The location is quite near to Kings beach hardly 5 mins drive and accessible to many super markets like Safeway which made our stay more convenient and hassle free. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds with the children paly room added as fifth bedroom. Living room is well lit with natural light as it is open from one side which gives a nice view of outside.
