Lost Oak on Center is aptly named after the falling of a mighty oak said to possibly be the oldest in town. This amazing tree fell directly on this property. Luckily, nobody was hurt and the massive stump remains. Lost Oak is the entire private upper level of a historic home in downtown Lake Geneva. Eclectically decorated and cozy, it consists of two bedrooms, a living space with sleeping options, full bath, and cute kitchenette nook (NO STOVE) with breakfast bar. Smart TV connected to WiFi. Lots of windows provide welcomed light for a relaxing stay. The outdoor seating area is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or an evening glass of vino. A gas grill is provided for your convenience. Fully licensed by the City of Lake Geneva! *On-site parking for a maximum of four vehicles. *This apartment is on the second level and does require guests to climb one flight of interior stairs. *This unit features a wifi-enabled smart TV (no cable). *There is a separate owner-occupied apartment on the first floor. ** Please note after your reservation is confirmed through VRBO we will send an electronic version of our guest rental agreement via e-mail**

The rental was perfect for my adult daughter and myself. Walking distance to downtown Lake Geveva was easy, less than 1/2 mile with plenty of restaurants and places to explore. Perfect for Winterfest.

We enjoyed staying here for 2 nights in August. The place had plenty of room for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids). Lots of character! We brought our bikes and were able to bike to frisbee golf, the beach and town.

The cute, vintage property was clean, well decorated, and had fine amenties. A wonderful getaway close to all the sights in beautiful Lake Geneva.Of all the places we have stayed, this one was the first where we immediately felt at home.

Our stay at Lost Oak worked out nicely. Parking for multiple cars was a plus! It was a snowy weekend and everything was cleaned off. Convenient location to all the spots in Lake Geneva. Was a satisfactory size for 4 adults, especially considering we were often out and about.

We went up for the snow sculpture competition. So glad this has its own parking in the back and within walking distance of downtown cause people were parked on street past the apartment. Property management was timely with correspondence and check in and out was easy( no long list of things to do). Apartment was clean and cutely decorated , beds were comfortable, and shower had good pressure. The only thing that needed attention was that it was just a small fridge and the freezer compartment was completely frosted over. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

We had a great weekend! The apartment was a bit smaller than the pictures led us to believe but it was clean, well decorated and comfortable. I'm not sure I would try to have six adults though - 4 was perfect. The coffee maker had not been cleaned (filter with coffee still in it) but an easy solution so no big deal. For the amount of time we actually were in the apartment it was perfect! Great location we walked a lot! Highly recommend.

The Lost Oak was the perfect location for a weekend with the girls. Walking distance to town and Lake Geneva fun. The house had everything that we needed and the decor created a cozy atmosphere to just catch up and relax.

Loved it. Would have been perfect if they added an electric fry pan. No stove or cooktop. We mainly had breakfast there and with only a micro to cook with was limiting.

Super cute and easy check in and check out. Also within walking distance of downtown. Some spaces like the shower and hallway were a little small. ALS si Shower did not have a strong pressure.

Very clean lots of steep stairs
Great location. Very clean. Very steep stairs, 14 in all. Last step onto the outside landing is extra steep. Overall good experience.

Quaint and Cute
I thought this property was super comfortable, perfectly located and a quaint alternative to a hotel. It had very comfy pillows/mattresses/blankets and lots of towels. Five of us slept well and walked around the entire lake the next day. We were able to relax after and the cute little kitchen was perfect for snacks and breakfast or warming leftovers with it's compact fridge/micro and plenty of dishes.

Great location and proximity to downtown LG. Clean, easy check in/check out and very responsive owner/prop mgr. Beds were very comfortable and they provided plenty of towels. This is a second floor apt and the indoor staircase leading to unit is narrow, a little dark, and steep. Can be difficult with anyone who is not sure-footed or excessive/heavy belongings. Overall, very satisfied.

We loved the place! It was quiet and the manager was very informative and responsive. We had an issue upon arrival with the key not being at the lock box due to some miscommunication. But it was resolved very quickly! All in all it was a great experience and we will definitely be back soon. Thank you for the great hospitality.

It was really cold weekend (single digits) but the place was toasty warm and cozy.
