What a great home for a lazy weekend in Suttons Bay enjoyed by sisters, daughter and nieces! This was our 4th annual girls weekend and this house was by far the best! Kitchen was beautiful as well as the 4 bedrooms and living room. We will be back for sure!

Wonderful stay in this beautifully-landscaped historic home with a serene decor just a short walk to the beach, shops, theater and restaurants. Central location to wine-tasting. Great for families.

Pros - amazing location, cute backyard, really nice to sit out in front porch. I would say for the cost, we were a little disappointed with the place. We had 8 people, with the house listed as suitable for 12- it would not have accommodated 12 as is given seating options. For the price, would have liked more kitchen items (only 1 spatula and 1 dish towel). One bedroom has a really saggy mattress , and you can’t run all the upstairs Ac units at once yet some windows don’t open. The property managers were very responsive to any issues. I would stay there again given the location but I would now know to bring some household items for myself.

First I'd like to commend Sarah for her excellent customer service. After terrible customer service by Danielle, she saved the day. We were not provided the amount of TP and paper towels that Danielle told us were there. The cleaning crew were in a hurry (still there when we arrived) yet Danielle was rude in telling us that she believed the cleaning crew (who probably wanted to save their jobs) and not the customer who paid alot of money. Danielle told us we had to go out and get our own. Thankfully Sarah was coming over to do some outside cleaning and when I told her the situation, she checked the storage (no TP) and went to the store to get some which she left with a nice note. Thank you Sarah! As for the property, the pictures are a bit deceiving. The property is not as well maintained as the pictures show. The showers, not only extremely small, but had mildrew in the frames. The bathroom vent fans were caked in dust. The refrigerator ice tray had mold on it. Also I awoke one night to find a chipmunk in my room. Apparently he came through a hold in the floor by the radiator. The location of the house was perfect. One block from the main part of town and a couple of blocks from the beach. There was garage parking for our car which was nice.

Great location in the heart of Suttons Bay! Nice old house with a lovely backyard. We stayed with 5 adults and had plenty of room. However, the house is marketed for 12-16 people and that is a stretch. Although there are two bunkbeds in the basement and two pull-out sofas in the living room, in addition to the four bedrooms upstairs, the place does not accommodate that many people in other areas. People in the area asked us if we would recommend the house for a large gathering they were planning with family coming into town for a month and we advised against it. For example, the dining table seats just four people and there were only seven dinner plates. The kitchen in general is not very well equipped. Not a problem if you eat out every day but we wanted to cook ourselves and had to borrow a number of basic kitchen utensils from the neighbors. Apparently the oven had not been cleaned - when we turned it on the first day it started smoking heavily and set off the fire alarms. Finally, the house has individual airconditioning units upstairs but the screens had not (yet?) been put on the windows so we could not open any of the windows downstairs or upstairs despite a few very warms days at the end of May. In conclusion, a nice place but given its price point it fell a bit short of expectations.
