Great location, nice hotel, a couple of extra things would make this worth the money.

The room layout was very well thought out. While it wasn't a huge room by sq. footage, it felt spacious in the layout. It was nice to have a microwave and mini-fridge, and the bathroom was very well done. While we only stayed two nights to attend an event at DPAC, this would have been a decent room for a work trip as well. The location of the hotel was optimal for anyone wanting to enjoy the attractions of downtown Durham, NC. We wanted to make a weekend of a show at the DPAC. The DPAC was within walking distance (about 1/4 mile), so we didn't have to worry about trying to find parking the night of the event. There are also lots of restaurants/bars within walking distance.

1) We stayed two nights and housekeeping never cleaned our room. For the price, our room should have been cleaned and made up on the second day we were there. 2) The bed was uncomfortable. It was lumpy and unsupportive. Neither of us slept well the two nights we were there. 3) While we knew ahead of time that parking wasn't included from reading on Booking.com that parking was extra $$, the check-in staff should have mentioned it during check-in.

After the rooms were priced ridiculously high due to the Savannah Bananas playing..we already were paying over $500 for ONE nights stay..then I’m charged an extra $10 to park in the parking lot..the beds were hard and uncomfortable and so was the pull out couch..we lost power so had no air and no lights during the end of stay in which we weren’t contacted or compensated..this made breakfast an issue as well..I do know it’s something they do extra but most ppl keep this in mind when reserving a stay..it was rather disappointing..we checked out early and left..

Amazing clean hotel great staff. Great breakfast buffet.

Came down for my Birthday staff truly amazing helpful . Breakfast bar was so good.. saved me time we ate there both mornings. The attendant was amazing too. It smelled so good in this hotel so clean and close to all the things I wanted to do.

I couldn't stay longer...I needed a few more days😊

Amazing hotel within walking distance of historic Tobacco Row.

All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel was very nice. Very close to downtown and Tobacco Row. Only bummer was all the construction around the property, but nothing the hotel can do about that.

Water dispensers were hard to find and there was no water in the room. Had to search a bit and found one in the fitness room. One design flaw is the window in the bathroom door. Cool looking but when someone gets up and turns the light on the bathroom it shines brightly in the whole room and disrupts other's sleep.

We had a lot of fun at dinner and DPAC. LOVED having such a great place to stay just steps away.

The breakfast bar had a lot of options. Adrian at the front desk was awesome during our check-in.

I really have no complaints.

I would do it again!

Location relative to American Tobacco campus and DPAC was great.

For me, the roadwork affected the ingress/'egress to the hotel and felt a little unsafe. Thankfully, this is a temporary concern and beyond the control of hotel management.

Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the hotel.

Adrian, the front desk operator, was fantastic. The hotel was clean and well appointed.

Our toliet kept running. I had to fix it each time it was flushed. When we notified the front desk (around 9 pm at night) we were told we could move. Which would have been fine had we not already gotten settled in for the evening. It was an inconvenience so we didn’t move and just played plummers for the remainder of the stay. I would have appreciated a discount towards a future stay.

The property was in an amazing location within walking distance to DPAC and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the property was very clean. My son and I also enjoyed our breakfast.

The parking was a little tricky to figure out at first, but otherwise nothing!

Perfect location, especially for an event at the stadium within walking distance!

The rooms were recently updated and were very spacious and clean. There were a lot of children staying there, but it was quiet after 9:00pm. We attended a game at the Durham Stadium which was a short walk away. Very convenient!
