Situated in Hill City, this lovely cabin for $190 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. ROOM DESCRIPTION Mountain Peaks Inn is family owned and operated. We are conveniently located on Main Street in downtown Hill City. This home has four separate suites, each with a private entrance. Please stop in for a cup of coffee or a pastry at Caboose Coffee Company on-site! All guests have access to a large front deck with charcoal grill and small metal fire pit. Green Mountain Suite is a beautiful pine, log-accented, cabin-style suite which sleeps TWO guests. This suite has a personal outside entry which is accessed by following the boardwalk around the home, to the east side of the house. Amenities include: a queen bed, vaulted ceilings, a private bath with full tub/shower; mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, coffeepot, water kettle, tv/dvd, Roku stick, and ac. IMPORTANT POLICIES and INFORMATION We do not allow indoor cooking other than microwave cooking. Outdoor grills may be used. Please bring your own hair dryer. We accommodate NON-smokers only. NO tobacco products, vapors, marijuana, or any illegal drugs/substances. NO pets/animals. It is our desire to provide a clean environment for all of our guests, free of smoke, scents, and animal hair. THINGS TO DO IN HILL CITY In addition to being in the heart of Hill City, South Dakota, a short walk from downtown, the Black Hills Central Railroad's 1880 TRAIN is just across the street. The popular Mickleson Trail follows Railroad Ave and East Main's sidewalk through town, with bike rentals just down the street. Historic downtown is a great place to explore with its local restaurants, various shops, and galleries.

We had a lovely stay in Hill City… would definitely recommend this stay! Was convenient to travel to other towns and sight see… and a nice “home base” with places to grab dinner in walking distance… very clean… comfy stay! I chatted with Lisa a few times … just wonderfully pleasant…☺️

We love the Black Hills in the fall and try to get there once a year. The 1880 Train Ride was on our bucket list of things we have not done in the Hills. Had a fun time. Visited friends in the Custer and Rapid area during our stay too.

The location was perfect for us for we were doing all the touristy stuff. The suite was comfortable and clean. The hosts are very friendly. We had a very enjoyable 3 days in Hill City.

This property was perfect for my husband and I. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The added bonus was the coffee shop that is connected to the property. The breakfast was fantastic and the owners are very nice! We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Your place was everything as presented on your VRBO site. The only slight complaint is the amount of noise with the in wall air conditioner. Luckily, the daytime temperatures were 60-65, so didn't need to rely on the AC that much.

EXCELLENT Hill City Hideaway!! All attention to details! Hooks, outlets, fans, remotes, EVERYTHING all where you need them, all the coffee & pantry & bathroom/personal care supplies provided, quiet & secure & yet right in the middle of all the activities & sites! A TRUE GEM!!!!

Super cute suite; great size for two. Loved the decorating! The tub was nice for soaking, but there was a shower as well. Could listen to the 1880 train as it got ready to pull out ☺️Handy to drive or walk downtown. And you could enjoy a coffee and yummy breakfast from burritos to coffee cakes or scones plus others we didn’t sample. Very nice hosts.

Quick trip to hills so was happy to get a room right next to downtown. Walked everywhere in town. So many great things to do within a short drive. This property is very nice, quiet, and comfortable.

We stayed 3 nights. Lisa was absolutely wonderful to deal with! We were on a cross country trip. The VRBo is Close to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park. The bedroom and bathroom were immaculate. Coffee pot and mugs. Nice refrigerator and microwave. Walking distance to all downtown shops. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom included full size shampoo/ conditioner/ body wash. All organic! I liked it so much I ordered the same products on Amazon when we returned home. I would highly recommend staying here!

Excellent accommodations. Centrally located for easy access to Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park and Crazy Horse Monument. Friendly and helpful owners. They recommended Alpine Lodge Restaurant for dinner and it was great. Would recommend this accommodation to friends and family.
