We flew 1,000 miles for a girls weekend/b-day. Upon entering the neighborhood we did not feel at ease. As we pulled up to the home we noticed a run down yard. Entering the home it was hot and had a musty odor. Noticed the air conditioner was not on so assumed the smell was because of the air not on. Walking into the living room we noticed a soft area of flooring that was covered with a rug. Choosing bedrooms we tripped on a rug so lifted rug up to find plywood screwed in above flooring once again covered with a rug. As we all started to get “settled” we noticed mouse droppings in the bathroom, as well as a dirty rag in the shower. Dirty dishes in the kitchen, Tin foil on the garage door as well as the back patio furniture and yard were dirty. It was after we sat out back we went inside and pulled up the broken linoleum to find black mole. We had to leave as a couple people in our group have allergies. With the musty smell and the mold this house is a health hazard. We contacted Debbie as well as VRBO and were told that they didn’t see any issues with this. It is very disappointing to rent this home at this price to not be as described on the website and also to see they have the owner listed as a premier host. Then to have to find a safe and clean place to stay and pay again. We hope that our lesson learned will allow others to not have to go through what we did. Looking at other homes Debbie rents the reviews seem to have the same story. We do have photos as back up.

It was great having 4 bedrooms, 2 baths and a nice-sized living area and kitchen. However, the house needs to be deep-cleaned.

Property had issues with Air conditioning. We arrived an hour and a half before check-in and walked into a dark and extremely hot house. Thermostat was at 91 degrees, and it was 100 degrees outside. Air conditioning could not be turned on even with all our efforts trying to figure out how to turn it on. 3 of the 4 bedrooms had no electricity, fans were unable to work or come on. Hall bath had no working lights either. Nothing seemed to work. I sent a text to the owner who wanted me to get to the fuse box located in a junked up garage to flip the switches. I located the box and began to flip the switches and nothing came back on. The owner proceeded to call “someone” and said they would be there in an hour to figure out what was going on. I decided to make the decision then and there we would not stay in this run down home waiting for someone to come in an hour to figure out/fix the issue. After we had checked in to a Hotel, we were lucky to get a hotel room for the night since Baylor was playing UT. The owner did text me that it was a breaker issue and I should come back to house. I kindly responded no because we had checked-in to the hotel by this point. I WOULD NOT recommended this property to anyone. It’s terrible, no other words to describe it.

We stayed here during our daughter's college graduation from Baylor. Its location was not far from the campus. The owner was easy to communicate with and made themself easy to reach if necessary.

We 1st arrived to a 90 degree house because owner didn't turn the air on for us. The home was so dirty when we checked in. We found cobwebs on the stove and under that chairs. The floor was dusty and there were someone else's clothes left in drawers in bedroom! We noticed the floors everywhere seemed "soggy" . When my husband and I went to bed he stepped on a screw. We looked further into the bedroom and wood was used to patch the floor on one side of the bed. And just a few hours later one of the sides of the bed FELL THROUGH THE FLOOR!! I called the host in the morning because I wanted to be respectful of her time and her resolve was to have US MOVE THE BED TO SOLD FLOORING! And if things got worse we needed to not use the bedroom. Leaving 2 people without a bed. I sent her photos and she never responded. Also the next morning we killed about 5 cockroaches that I informed her about and she never contacted me with a resolve for that either! Don't fall for this nasty house! It was a mess and really disappointing stay!
