Welcome to Cozy Creek Cottage! Located at the north end of Lake Keowee, this brand new construction cottage offers space for up to 10 guests. The cottage has 3 spacious bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms along with a large loft offering a bunk bed, comfy sleeper sofa (full size) and entertainment center. The basement offers a fun-filled game room for all ages with a pub-sized pool table, dart board, old school classic arcade machine with 300 games, card table along with a media entertainment center. Enjoy natural light throughout the home through the extra large windows offering beautiful views of the surrounding trees and the large pond across the way. Outside on the spacious tree-top deck, relax while grilling, read your favorite book or enjoy star filled nights as the on-property running creek serenates you with two cascading waterfalls. If that doesn't do it for you, then head down to the shady and cool basement deck and lounge on the spacious full size swing bed or simply melt your stress away as you dip yourself in the brand new 76 jet hot tub that seats up to 6 guests. This lovely cottage is located in the gated community of Cedar Creek located right next door to The Reserve at Lake Keowee. This cottage is nestled just a short drive away from several of South Carolina's nationally acclaimed state parks and preserves that include hiking trails, mountain biking, fishing, and pretty much any outdoor adventure from advanced to beginner. Far enough away from traffic noise and city lights, you are only a short drive away from downtown Seneca, Easley, and Pickens. Visit each of these incredible quaint towns and stop in to explore amazing restaurants, antique stores, bakeries and ale house/breweries. For Clemson fans, this cottage is located just 25 minutes from campus.

The house is beautiful! We all enjoyed the game room, hot tub, and media room as well as the fire pit. Plenty of space for everyone. The downstairs bathroom is very large. We tended to use that one more than the master bath. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need. The grill worked great. We were very happy with our stay. We enjoyed venturing out to Long Shoals and other nearby trails.

We really had a great time there. We spent most of the time in the cabin. No need to leave the property at all. There are lots of board games, a pool table and a hot tub. Overall, we really love this place.

We found the property to be in great shape as well as clean and lovely. Good location and house was very well kept. Has issue with air conditioning on main and loft levels but a/c units were fairly new.

We had a wonderful time on our 10 day stay at this VRBO. Nelson was a great host and very responsive. We needed an early check in and he had the home ready for us first thing on our check in day. We were able to get the home all ready before the rest of our family arrived. The home was very clean! The kitchen was ample as we cooked most meals in. We certainly made ourselves at home! We had a few questions during our stay that were answered by Nelson immediately. Being football season, we were concerned about getting all the games. Nelson had youtube TV all set up as well as several other streaming services. We didn't miss a single down of all our favorite teams. Since we were staying 10 days, Nelson scheduled the cleaning crew to come collect our trash so it wasn't overflowing. This small step was greatly appreciated. We met several neighbor who were very helpful as well. Overall a great experience!

We were supposed to check in at 4pm, but the cleaner was still there until after 7pm cleaning the house. She said she had been there since 10:30am because the people before supposedly left it a mess. The owner gave us a small refund for having to wait for the cleaner to finish as well as there was a slight smoke smell that came through the vents when the air turned on. It did seem to disipate as the weekend went on. The sheets were supposedly clean, but there was still some kind of small pet hairs all over sheets, even the extra sheets for the primary room had pet hair on them. The hot tub stunk horribly and could not stay in it very long, the grill was filty and completely rusted and unusable. We had to make burgers inside with a pan in the kitchen that was bent up and would not lay flat on the stove. There was also piles of spaghetti thrown in a corner of the lawn, guessing from the previous guests. There was also sap coming from the decks floor boards so be careful when walking on the deck not to step in the sticky stuff. The house advertised darts but the darts were missing and no where to be found. I asked the owner where they were but he never responded. We ended up leaving early and the owner still hasn't responded and its been several days. The house is a newer modern house, tastefully decorated with some good amenities and a great location to the lake. Restaurants are a good 20+ minutes away so you may want to bring food with you.

Absolutely loved this house. I rented it so my parents, my sister and her husband and kids, me and my husband and my son could all spend spring break together. My husband and I discovered Lake Jocassee and Keowee and we loved it. We were so excited to share it with my family and my son. This house was in the perfect location, very nice community and was so close to a hiking trail. Being able to rent the boat was a nice addition to all the house offered. We wanted to completely relax and this house has all that you need to be able to do that. The house is decorated beautifully. The living room is a nice place to relax and read a book. The bed was very comfortable and they had a nice large bathroom right next to it. My family said they slept great. Everyone was blown away by how nice the place was. The upstairs is a great place for the kids to hang out and the deck outside has a nice table to eat at. The grocery stores are 20 minutes or more away (the host lets you know this) I found out that Instacart will deliver groceries to this location. That was pretty awesome since we wanted to fully relax and didn’t want to spend any time stuck in traffic or at a grocery store. We had a wonderful time and the host responded so quickly and was so nice. You will love staying here.

Location was perfect for us and we enjoyed our stay. Size was great for two families of 3. The pond across the street is beautiful and the community is quiet and well maintained. Check in and communication were great.

We absolutely loved our time at your home. It was exactly what we needed. Long weekend of relaxation with the hot tub and pool room. House was so nice we let our daughter have the Master and we stayed on the basement level.

This rental property is just as beautiful in person as it is online. It’s nice and secluded surrounded by a gorgeous wooded area with ponds and lake nearby. Our teenage boys loved the pool table, game table, and hot tub keeping them entertained for hours. The host was very attentive to our needs. The house supplied all of our needs to make a large meal for Thanksgiving.. We would rent this place again in a heartbeat!

House was nice. The house had a few problems with cleanliness, check in but I can overlook.
However, the house has one major problem. The owner! He was VERY unprofessional A few hours after our stay he called me accusing me of leaving the hot tub opened and with food and vomit in it. I personally made sure that the hot tub was closed. Only my son and niece used the hot tub for a couple of hours and we felt that the hot tub had a nasty film in it. And they were always supervised. When I told Nelson (owner) that they were false accusations he became very irate and started cursing at me and telling me that I was going to pay big time. Do not rent from him. I should've listened to one of the previous reviews that also talked about his poor professionalism and aggression. He also sent me a text saying that he caught it on camera. I'm sure he is probably lying as it was not true and is probably trying to intimidate however, if is true that he has cameras pointing at the hot tub he should disclose it to his guest per VRBO policy and of course he has not. This is very concerning and disturbing that he was video recording my under age son and niece. Lesson for me... Video record the house when you first come in and record once you check out!

We traveled to the area for a wedding and this was a wonderful place to stay for an extended weekend. It turned out to be a great mini-vacation for our family, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time together there. Great amenities and we really enjoyed all the indoor and outdoor hangout spaces. Communication from the owner was great. We would definitely stay their again.

The cabin was beautiful! Had plenty of activities and places to spread out (teens upstairs/adults downstairs). It was very clean and perfectly decorated. Nelson was very responsive and friendly. We will definitely be back again!

We stayed at this beautiful property for our son's wedding at Arabella Farm. Very comfortable. Lots of entertainment for the teens in the basement. Boat was great for relaxing on the lake.

Everything was great about the place with the exception of the boat not working which was upsetting as we were unable to enjoy the lake during our entire visit. ***Check out is when things went south, our wedding get together accumulated a lot of trash bags, we felt the best thing to do was leave them right inside the bottom floor so the bears didn’t ravage the trash (Bears are a major problem in this community- according to a neighbor) We received a call from Nelson, who was furious that one of the bags had leaked on to the linoleum flooring, we graciously apologized and even came back to the house to help clean it up. Upon arrival an enraged Nelson started pointing out other things that were not cleaned up. 1. There are finger prints on the fridge. 2. There is a dime size spot on a Bluetooth speaker. 3. Water spilled on the floor that wasn’t properly cleaned up 4. The trash bag leaked. All were things that were easily fixed with a mop and hand towel. After pointing these minor details out, Nelson went on to use the worst profanity that one could think of as well as threatening my husbands life by saying if you don’t stay here until 4pm on your hand and knees cleaning, I will find you and I have ways of taking care of problems like you. This was an absolute shocker that he would threaten our lives over a few spills on the floor and finger prints on the fridge. The whole conversation was recorded on a phone and will be sent to VRBO. We will never rent from him again and I would advise anyone to stay away from a property that the owner would threaten the lives of there customers.

Gorgeous yet comfortable home near the lake - well-equipped for kids of all ages! Great indoor and outdoor hangout spaces, and ideal for all four seasons. Immaculately clean when we arrived - probably the cleanest VRBO property I've stayed in yet. We had so much fun out on the boat. Nelson is very responsive if and when you need to get in touch. Would absolutely stay here again!!

Vacation to visit family
Check in process was very easy. Property owner was very quick to respond upon our arrival. Property was an excellent choice for our family vacation. We plan on renting again in the future on our return.

Amazing Vacation!
We had a wonderful time! The house is absolutely stunning!! It is well stocked with anything you could need!! We loved all the extra touches like towels for the lake, hand soap in all the bathrooms ,toothbrush holders and so much more!!! The house is very clean and well taken care of. My family loved the huge couch downstairs. We had two movie nights and we were all able to sit on the couch together. There was so much in the house to entertain you!! My favorite was the porch swing!! It is huge. We rented the boat and had a great time exploring the lake! Nelson was great to work with! We will definitely be back next summer!!

First "lake vacation" a definite success!
Took a 4 day trip from Atlanta to Lake Keowee, wanted to try something new with our three kids. Nelson was a great host and communication was on-point before and during the trip.
Major highlights include:
- Home felt new, good quality finishes, and well-suited for a large family to gather. Sleeping areas on all three floors.
- The house was a destination in itself with lots of entertainment options - from the pool table, foosball, darts, a hot tub, poker table, board games, basement theater and an arcade with mix of classic video games
- Quiet neighborhood, a 5 min walk to the dock. Saw deer along the way. Fishing from the dock was decent at dusk, and renting the owner's tri-toon for a day on the lake was a highlight.
- Proximity to things to do; We hiked at Gorges State Park in NC (45 min), visited SC Botanical Gardens/Geology Museum (35 min) in Clemson. Nice to be close to the mountains and water at the same vacation.
Our conclusion is that a lake trip is a good alternative to a blistering hot and overcrowded beach vacation during the summer. Lake Keowee is large, clear water, but is not overcrowded during the week. The north side of the lake (where this vrbo is) has great views of mountain ranges in the distance. I would definitely recommend renting with Nelson and enjoying their home and everything it has to offer. We hope to be back again soon!

Wonderful stay
One of the best properties out of the 14 years we all have been doing our Friends Weekend. Plenty of space for 8-10 adults, multiple hangout spots to keep from crowding. Multi level deck allows some relief from weather. Only negative is if you have a group bringing more than 3 vehicles, gravel driveway is very steep and can’t really park on the side. Other than that, I’m saving this property for future stays!

Family friendly home with a very dangerous driveway
This vacation house was very clean. Kitchen was well equipped. Our family enjoyed the big wrap around porch, hot tub, pool table and other inside games.
We did not have enough towels for our group of 9. 7 bath towels provided along with a few wash cloths and hand towels.
The driveway was treacherous to say the least. Probably 8 to 10 inches deep of loose gravel on a very steep slope. Extremely difficult and in some cases not even possible to get cars up the drive. There is a space to kind of pull straight ahead but even that wasn’t easy. The cars would actually kind of slide to the side going onto the driveway.Walking on the driveway was harder than driving on it especially if you’re carrying luggage or a cooler. 3 of our 9 fell trying to walk on the gravel. Everyone slipped and nearly lost their balance a number of times.
The boat provided was a very nice and well kept. The boat slip wasn’t walking distance from the house as indicated. Parking at the boat slip was very limited.

Lovely home .
This is a beautiful home with lots of extras for family. The accoutrements were great - lots of hand soap, supplies, etc. Tons of activities in the home for all ages and the hot tub a plus. It was extremely clean and well maintained. Highly recommend for a family vacation.
