Extra amenities include use of the oceanfront upstairs deck with rockers, an enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water plus a dressing area, as well as a private walkway to the beach with a shower. The rental was VERY dated and needs a lot of up keep. No tv in the bedroom also. The room was clean. But it took me a couple of days to feel like we wasn’t going to pack something home with us. Overall an okay stay and neat history but more than likely won’t be my first pick when booking our next stay.

Well....i have to keep telling myself it was clean and on the beach and i only spent 1400 . Pictures are deceiving, very small. Dirty cat litter trail down the property, lawn not mowed, dilapidated deck and boardwalk to the beach. Most entertaining part of trip was watching home owner fight with tarp, to cover roof during a rain storm. But still it was clean. I still don't believe there was a queen bed, tight sleeping arrangements. They do supply towels but bring beach towels. Furniture is old, reminds me of what you would find at grandma's lake cottage but again it was clean and 1400 for the week. Would i stay again? Only if it was just a place to sleep, accommodations are too small for 4 people.

I must admit I was scared when I arrived. It took me until the next day before I started to feel comfortable. The house was very clean. The house keeper did an amazing job before our arrival. Where I was thrown was the age and neglect of the living room furniture. I’m all for vintage but the couch should have been replaced 5 yrs ago, it was broke down and very uncomfortable and the small chairs were rust stained. I was afraid to set on them. The main structure of the home itself (upstairs) was rotten and falling apart. A large portion of the roof had a tarp on it and looked like it had been damaged for a while. The deck had rotted in some spots and lots of siding and trim was missing from the outside. The amount of damage to the main structure made me worry about what else in the home had been neglected and how many bugs could be living above my head. It was definitely embarrassing to look at from the beach from all the disrepair of the home. To end on a positive, my little house was clean, the air conditioning worked very well, and it was on the beach. I would stay here again.

The location was ideal and the price was great, but the place could really use some sprucing up. The bedding was clean, but very old and tired, as was the furniture. The place just needs some major updating. The outside was not maintained and there was garbage, cigarette butts and there was a hole in the siding on the back of the house. In spite of all this, we enjoyed the beach and our stay.

The beds were uncomfortable to sleep in, chairs in the living room were heavily stained, the sofa/couch has definitely seen better days and please replace the pots and pans it was very difficult to use and all utensils and knives had rust on it… also getting a dehumidifier for the place would make the entire place a lot better for breathing… the Ac in the bedroom closet to the beach didn’t work it was on fan mode regardless to what I did and we were not given a key to the door facing the beach which lead us to locking ourselves out… overall the location was excellent but this place for the price we paid could have been so so so much better if some upgrades were made if I owned this property I could upgrade everything with the money I paid for my three nights! Would love to come back but please upgrade everything you would so benefit from it.

It's a great location, everything is there for you already so there's no need to bring much of anything. Kitchen stuffs there already, beautiful views, had great neighbors and quiet. Will definitely be going back. My only down fall the mattress you can feel all the springs but it's nothing horrible. Other than that it was great

Overall, we had a delightful time at the Sea winds II. The location is incredibly convenient and the apartment is small but clean and well kept. The upstairs porch is delightful as well! Also, the house has a fascinating history, being one is the four original homes on the island since it was built in 1950. We did purchase and leave basic amenities like salt/pepper, coffee filters and cleaning supplies because none were available. The only major complaint we had was that the mattresses were incredibly uncomfortable and gave us horrible back aches because they dip in the middle.

Clean, but not well 'stocked'. Couldn't work the TV. No blender, no washing machines (dishes or clothes), no books, no vacuum cleaner.

Perfect for 2. The beach was directly in front of us. Great location. I was a little concerned that the window air conditioner wouldn’t be cool enough but they worked great. Very clean.

The duplex was exactly like the pictures. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The wifi was slow but we spent most our time on the beach fishing and shelling. We'll definitely be back!

Already missing the beach
The duplex was exactly like the pictures. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The wifi was slow but we spent most our time on the beach fishing and shelling. We'll definitely be back!
