This is a beautiful oceanfront cottage with a pool and a large living area that opens to a dining area and a kitchen! The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, a microwave, and all the appliances the group chef will need. There are hardwood floors throughout the cottage, with ceiling fans in each room. There are also three cable TVs, a DVD player, and free WiFi. For a relaxing time outside, there is a covered porch, a private pool, and an enclosed outside shower. Enjoy everything that Holden Beach has to offer by staying in this lovely home. THINGS TO KNOW The unheated pool is open year-round. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Our family enjoyed everything about our stay at this house. The porch facing the beach was our favorite part, as we could enjoy the ocean even when it was raining. We also loved the sliding glass doors so we could enjoy the oceanfront benefit even on the couch. Everything is very comfortable, and while it is a no-frills kind of house, we had everything we needed to cook dinners there. Things I suggest you bring: (1) ground coffee (2) a spray cleaner for kitchen counters unless you are okay with bleach (3) beach chairs and toys — pool toys were the only thing there. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would return.

We were four adults and three teenagers and we never felt crowded. Lovely bedroom furniture and comfortable beds. Excellent kitchen facilities; we were easily able to cook our Thanksgiving dinner. Would certainly come again!

My sisters and I visited for 4 days for my 50th birthday and it was just perfect for us. Great private pool and our own walkway to the beach. It was just what we needed. Had a wonderful time.

We took 4 teens to the ocean and they had a blast! We have green freedom to go where they walked on the island and they took advantage of it. They actually were off their devices and had so much fun. We didn’t even have to bug them. The house was great, plenty to cook and bake with. Beds comfortable. We had a minor issue and maintenance resolved it in hours. I would definitely recc staying here! Beautiful views and located in the middle of the island. 16 miles of biking and gorgeous views!

I loved the beach front location. Having a pool. The full width of house covered deck was wonderful. Full view of beach and full waves sound from the deck. Heaven. Felt like I was on the beach when I wasn’t.
I rented house for myself, daughter & son and their spouses and my four grandkids.
The beds were clean and comfortable.
No bugs anywhere in house.
The pool was very clean. While we were there it was maintained every other day. Bathrooms could use some a little updating TLC. Not great shower water pressure but it got the job done.
The two bedrooms on the left of the house were noticeably warmer than the living area and the bedrooms on the right. If you keep all the adjoining doors open in the day it helps cool them from the living area coolness There’s two separate thermostats. Living area, kitchen and bedrooms on right were actually chilly at times and we raised the temp.
TV in every room except for one of the queen rooms.
Kitchen could use some added items. Only two dish towels. No dish cloths.
One shower door needed a clip and the clip was never brought back and installed.
Picnic table and six comfy rockers on deck. Picnic table and grill on ground level.
Nice reclining chairs at pool. Like so many pools these days it does not have a hand rail. Has built in seats. Can not see the beach from pool level.
We had three vehicles. Two parked under house and one out farther to the street which allowed the other two vehicles to be moved in and out as needed.
We did bike rentals, jet skis and ice cream at Beaches & Cream at opposite end of bridge. They change the special flavors through out the day. You can watch the live menu board on their website. Too cool! So very many unique favors.
Best if all were the sea turtle nests on the beach. Two grandkids actually witnessed a sea turtle make it way back to the water after depositing her eggs. Volunteers were there to protect her and mark her nest. Another nest hatched before we got to the rental. They checked it after three days and one little turtle hadn’t made it to the top of the sand so the volunteer gave it a helping hand and it made it’s way to the water. This was observed by a controlled crowd. Such a wonderful memory never to be forgotten.
The fishing pier is within sight but it was closed.
This house was built in the late 60s. I love the left over character from that period. Yes I would definitely rent this house again for the good all around beach feel and experience.

It was clean, and had every thing to cook with, the Furniture was comfortable and big enough that we all had our room to walk around and close enough to hang out beautiful decks and great location.

Very nice and clean. We loved the pool and had everything we needed for the week. Will definitely use Vacasa again and hope to be able to book same house!!

The beachfront location was perfect and our kids loved the pool. One bed could use slats, the box spring fell through so we left the mattress and box spring on the floor until we left. The same bedroom does nothing have a lock on the door, this may or may not be an issue depending whether you have kids and want some alone time with your spouse. Neither of these things took away from the enjoyment our family had at this home.
There are lots of games, books to read, plus extra blankets and pillows if needed.
We were a little disappointed there were no beach towels, but that was a misunderstanding on my part.
Overall, would not hesitate to stay again.

The house was amazing! Each side of the house had its own thermostat, which was great because my wife and I could keep our side very cool while our moms could keep their side warmer. The pool was amazing. Highly recommended!

Our family had a wonderful week at Bikini Bottom! It was very clean and nicely decorated.
The 4 bedrooms were plenty spacious enough for our family of 7. The beds were actually pretty comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked but we could not find a pizza cutter. It was so nice to sit in the living room or the huge back deck and see the beautiful ocean. We were pleasantly surprised to find that there were 2 thermostats. One controlled the living room/dining/kitchen area and 2 bedrooms. The other controlled the other 2 bedrooms on the other side of the house. This worked out well as we have some in our family who stays hot and some who are always cold!
The pool was great! It did have just a little sand/debris on the bottom in a couple of areas but it wasn't much and didn't distract from our enjoyment of the pool. The pool isn't heated, which we knew when we rented Bikini Bottom. It was pretty warm the first couple of days but the weather got pretty cool for a day or 2 (as it often does at the beginning of May) and then the water was much colder. It didn't stop the kids from getting in, though!
We used the grill a couple of times. It has a small table next to it which was helpful. Plenty of parking under the house. The outdoor shower was nice.
Of course, the beach was the big draw. This was our first time at Holden Beach and we found it magical. We couldn't believe how many shells that we found that were still whole and looked like the kind of shells you can buy at the souvenir store. I have never found so many cool shells on a beach trip and we also found over 200 shark teeth!
One thing we really like about Holden Beach is that it is just houses and not full of condos and hotels. There is a nice biking path and a place to rent bikes on the island.
The only problem we had was that only a small stream of water would come out of the kitchen sink faucet. I called the management office and spoke to a friendly lady who said she would send someone right out to look at it. The gentleman who came said that the owners already know about the faucet and he showed us the "sweet spot" to move the handle to in order to get a little bit more water to come out. It didn't mess up our vacation at all but it was a little frustrating when trying to hand wash dishes or fill up a big pot of water (which we ended up filling up with the shower faucet). The customer service was phenomenal.
We would absolutely rent this home again!

Nice Rental
There was plenty of room for my wife and I, our 3 kiddos, and our parents. The bedrooms stayed colder than the common area and only two bedrooms had a tv, but overall it worked well for us. Not as up-to-date as most places, but still worth booking. We would stay here again.

Most of the electrical outlets would not hold our electronic cords when plugged in- we had to switch everything to the bathroom which seemed to work well. The pool was disgustingly filthy and when we called the rental company to report it, we were told someone would be there Wednesday to clean it and no one ever showed up. The main reason we rented this house was because of the pool and honestly we were afraid we'd get sick if we used it- it was that dirty! The main lamp in the living room was broken and could not be used so we had to use the bright overhead lighting. There was a leak from the bathtub that was reported by us- someone was sent out but nothing was done to fix the leak. There were also some boards that needed to be replaced around the pool area due to rotten boards. Writing this review really makes me sad because we loved the house last year and even with all the negative comments, we still loved it this year and had a fabulous time. We hope that the house is repaired soon because it has so much potential and the location is perfect!

We had a blast staying at one of the properties with Vacasa here at Holden Beach and we are beyond thankful for the opportunity for this trip! The view is great and it's nice having a pool. Other than that not a lot of good to say. The house is dated and run down. It is not worth the cost of the stay.
