About this house rental
We keep an allergen free house for our cleaning crew and future renters. Please abide by our no pet policy. Completely remodeled cute and cozy farm house. Sleeps 4 (2 queen beds). Sleeps 6 if you want to bring an air mattress. Only a 7 minute drive to Petoskey and all of its amenities. The best sunsets in the USA! SkyBridge Michigan at Boyne Mountain is only a 10 mile drive. Walloon Lake public boat launch is a 2 minute drive. There’s also a public beach area at the boat launch to swim/picnic. Winter fun also as you may snowmobile from the farmhouse driveway to the trail system within 2 miles. Local trail maps available online and at local gas stations. Great skiing or golf with only a 10 minute drive to Boyne Mountain Resort or 20 minute drive to Boyne Highlands and Nubs Nob Ski Hill Quaint setting. Farm views. Wild birds during the day and cricket sounds at night. Enjoy some peace and quiet outside of the city. You may see and hear wild birds, rabbits, fox and deer in the large farm fields behind our property. You may even hear coyotes in the far distance (we’ve never seen them at the house). Long driveway with plenty of parking. All linens and towels will be provided. Fully furnished kitchen. Gas grill outdoors. Just bring your own food and drinks and fun! High speed Internet. Streaming Roku tv with multiple channels. Air conditioners available for use in the house in the summer.

We planned to stay 3 nights but only stayed one due to uncooperative weather. The place is done really cute. The kitchen is nice, bathroom is small. It was a nice place for our little family. Not much privacy. Upstairs bedroom is in the eaves, not good for anyone sensitive to small spaces. Hosts were super nice and very responsive. Fire pit and yard were very appealing. Recommend for small groups that travel well together.

Loved our stay to celebrate my best friend’s birthday. The farmhouse is so cute and clean. Great location…rural setting but close to town, wineries and the ski hill/skybridge. Owners are very responsive. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Everything was fine until we tried to turn on the heat in the living room. A serviceman came out Fri evening (late for our schedule) & another serviceman came out Sat morning to finally get the pilot light lit & the wall heater unit working.
It was a chilly evening for us & using the portable room heaters was somewhat anxiety provoking.
I wondered if the heater had even been checked for proper functioning prior to our stay.
Kind of disappointing.

The cozy cottage is exactly as described. It’s a lovely piece of property, in a very convenient location right off 31; but quiet & pretty. Beds very comfortable, kitchen is well thought out for meal prep & dining ; we only used the coffee machine as we were in town for a wedding. Quick stay but great for our needs

The house was just perfect for the 3 of us. Close to everything but quiet at night while enjoying a bonfire outside under the stars. Plenty of kitchen items and dishes and this may sound funny but good quality toilet paper! Thank you!!

This property is the perfect get away with your friends or a spouse. The house is even cuter than pictures and the land behind it is so beautiful. The host were amazing and accommodating. They reached out ahead of schedule to let us know the check-in process, they checked in during our stay to make sure we didn't need anything, and sent us a nice message after. I would definitely come back and recommend all to stay here!

We stayed here while my son was in Petoskey Showdown. It was very close to the fields but far enough away from downtown so it was very peaceful. The kids loved the loft upstairs. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was fully stocked to cook. The only downside was the water saver faucets. Communication was great and they responded quickly. If we plan another trip in Petoskey we would definitely stay again.

the cozy farmhouse was suited for what we needed which was a convenient place to sleep and shower while exploring the surrounding areas. It is quite tight with small bedrooms and a single small bathroom but the property was expansive. If you are looking for a centrally located cabin to enjoy walloon lake, petoskey and boyne then this is a great place!

We began to say at the end of our day that we were going home! Perfect spot for couple getaway but in the middle of so many cute towns and outdoor explorations. Very clean, excellent wifi, and very responsive owners. Loved the decor and will visit again!

We loved and enjoyed our stay in this property. Very cute, modern interior and just the perfect amount of space we needed. Close to everything we wanted to visit. If we plan to visit Petoskey again, we’d have to maybe plan it around the time this rental is available.

Great place that met all the needs and checked all the boxes. Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. The setting was nice and six minutes from downtown Petoskey. Host were easy to work with and told us some great places to go visit while we were there.

Perfect spot to get away! Very quiet, peaceful yard and home. So close to town and anywhere you’d like to get to in Northern Michigan. We visited a cute, very friendly Winery right nearby (mackinaw trail winery). Comfy and clean with plenty of room.

We came to Petoskey for our daughters soccer tournament. The location was perfect, about 5 minutes down the road from the field. This was absolutely fabulous for 7 am and 8 am games! Also, our children loved the loft, and so did we. It gave us enough privacy, yet, allowed us the ability to be able to hear them if needed. The house had everything we needed. Very reasonable and minimal rules and requirements for checkout as well. The shower is very small, although, this was not a problem for us as our children are old enough to shower, neither did we need any accessibility accommodations. If we were to stay a longer period, we usually look for laundry amenities on site, but again, this was not an issue for our weekend stay. The layout and strategic decorating of the home made it very functional. We would definitely consider another weekend stay in the future!

We did a little weekend getaway to go to Petoskey and Boyne City. This place was very close to both. Adorable little home, upstairs is not for tall people but was okay for us short people 😊 Would definitely book again if we come back over that way. Thank you for a comfortable stay!

The home itself was exactly as advertised. The property was beautiful and the view was amazing. We enjoyed sitting outside with a cup of coffee to start the day!

Great location for access to Petoskey and surrounding areas. Just a few minutes to downtown. Cute little house with all of the basics needed for a place to sleep at night. Everything looked super clean at first glance, but it got really warm in the house so we needed to open the windows as there is no air conditioning. There were dead bugs on every single window sill. Water pressure was laughable in the shower. It took FOREVER just to rinse shampoo off. The second bedroom is in a loft that any person over 5'5 would have to duck to fit in. I'm 6' and it was really uncomfortable. I was unable to get dressed upstairs. Additionally, the loft has an opening to the living room. While it is still private in the sense that you can't see anyone upstairs, it is definitely not a place where one person can go to bed while someone else stays up all night.

We were really happy we found this great VRBO! It’s only 15 min from Boyne Mountain and is as nice as described! Our family of three skied all weekend and relaxed here in such a quiet nice space. Owners were super friendly while communicating. We enjoyed the nearby Walloon Lake for dinner instead of the busy restaurants at Boyne. Thanks!

We stayed at this location for 3 nights for a ski trip at Boyne mountain/highlands. The property was easy to find, clean, and intimate. Space heaters as well as the central heater functioned perfectly to keep warm during the chilly nights. I would stay here again in the future and recommend this property to others.

My family of 4 stayed for a long winter weekend up north. The place is cute and proximity to skiing in Boyne and Harbor Springs is ideal if you want to check out both spots. The house is modern and cute and has everything you need, just be mindful of the low ceilings in the loft if your family is tall like mine.

Super nice and relaxing from the outside it’s a cute little cottage and you walk in and it’s all remodeled and up to date. Beautiful view from the backyard for sure made the trip more enjoyable with the beautiful views.

Great property location! Was within minutes to Petoskey and Boyne. House was comfortable for 4 adults and outside firepit was a bonus! Warning if you are over 5 ft, upstairs was difficult as it was a loft bedroom with low ceilings but was fine for the short stay. But great location for what we were needing. Would stay again!

This little farmhouse is decorated nicely. Kitchen is well equipped. Couch is very comfortable. Location is ok. A few miles from Petoskey. It was very clean except for a few stray cobwebs. We killed a few bugs, one in our bed. That’s to be expected in the country. The tv is a Roku with a couple streaming channels available. We were not familiar with that, and we wished that had been clearly stated in the description. It is also a stretch to say there are 2 bedrooms. The second bedroom is up a very steep, narrow set of stairs. It is nicely decorated but the sloped ceiling is so low I can’t imagine adults using it. The decor and the cleanliness along with the ease of check-in and communication with the owner made this an okay experience with a couple important negatives.

Somewhat cheaply renovated old house. Quiet farm country with an old trailer house next to it. Could use some dusting to remove the spider webs. Sounded like there were mice in the walls and basement at night.
