Zen too was cute, comfortable and cozy! Took a few times to get used to the steep steps to the bedroom loft but after that we enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent this place again.

We enjoyed our time at this property; there are many small details really well thought out that make it nice to stay here. This is an unusual and fun space! However, the shower is uncomfortable to use as there is no door so you are cold unless standing directly under the water. The towels and sheets smelled musty, rusty, and unclean. Upstairs there are several windows that have no blinds/curtains so you cannot sleep past when the sun rises.

Loved staying at Zen Too. Was very peaceful, unique, and fit our accommodations perfectly. Will be back again!

The house was great! Nice small place that was dog friendly. They couldn’t get up to the top floor so I had to carry them but other than that it was perfect for our wedding weekend!

We came there to hike. perfect location! area quiet and towns quaint. The Kitchen was very nice but I only need microwave and coffee maker. we didn't use the outside areas much as we were only there for short periods during the day. The bathroom is amazing! The upstairs was very nice and we loved the balcony. getting there is an issue. The problem for us was the living space. We were there in the fall. It's cold. We needed inside seating. It appears to have that however the chair provided was nice to look at but so uncomfortable it could only be sat in for short periods. The Futon had the same issue so essentially when we were there the seating was basically non existent. The steps are so steep and i am short I could not get up them even with the side steps. These are very unsafe during the night. slept on the futon which was essentially a thick board with an egg-crate. After 2 nights It had become unmanageable. despite planning for a rain day with wine and cheese that could not happen as there was no place to sit so we ended up leaving a day early to avoid another miserable night. The light in some areas didn't work and the information regarding check out was wrong. I called the number provided and was told someone would get back to us but we never heard anything. To check out put linen in washer and dishes in dishwasher but this unit has neither of these things. The book in the unit should be accurate and not generic.

While my stay was very nice, the network information provided to me by the property manager was inaccurate. I attempted to contact the property management company but went straight to voicemail…I did not receive a response…disappointing…

Check in process was very easy as you were able to self checkin through the keypad on the door. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need including condiments and a range of spices and supplies in the fridge & pantry. The stairs to the loft are VERY steep, just a heads up. Manageable for any reasonably active person but just an FYI if you’re bringing a dog and you have them sleeping upstairs with you, you may need to spot them going down/up since the stairs are very tall and very steep.
The backyard is fenced in which is amazing if you have a dog that loves fetch like mine.
Some (very small) drawbacks - The TV has very limited channels and the wifi and service in general is very spotty, so be prepared to be fully out of range or have very little access to internet for your stay.
The town of Davis is walking distance which is very nice and the town of Thomas is 5-10 min to the north with I highly recommend you check out as well.

We had such a great time exploring around the Davis area and the quick bike to the mountain bike trailheads was icing on the cake. Meticulous attention to detail across the whole property. Definitely plan on returning.

We enjoyed our stay at the Zen Too. We loved all the attention to detail and the industrial decor. It was unique and eclectic! Your tiny house offered a well stocked kitchen for cooking and we used the grill daily. The use of outdoor space really didn’t make you feel like you were short for space! We enjoyed evening bonfires in the yard while enjoying cocktails. Although the house is in a neighborhood, it was quiet and peaceful! Hiked, explored and really relaxed!

Zen Too was a beautiful tiny house that was perfect for us and our dog. The stairs upstairs are very steep, too steep for our dog to manage by herself safely, but the entire space was amazing. Everything is set up perfectly and they had all the necessities (kitchen appliances, grilling equipment, etc). If you don’t like going upstairs, the pull out couch on the main floor is perfectly comfortable, that’s where we slept with our pup. The property is a short drive from downtown Davis and Thomas, which are adorable, and from several beautiful hikes. 10/10 recommend!!

We stayed here in the middle of the summer. Overall it was an ok place but there were pros and cons. Some of the pros: It was close proximity to everything we wanted. It’s exactly as listed, a tiny house. Anything you would need is in there, except they didn’t have any boards games. There is a fenced in yard if you have a dog. The property company sent a nice check in letter. Couple things to keep in mind for the cons: There is a window A/C. It’s not central air. The upstairs bedroom got extremely hot even with the A/C running for 24 hours. The other thing is we brought our golden retriever and the steps were way to steep for her going up and down them. I even had a hard time with it as a grown adult. One of the chairs outside was broke as well. I don’t know this for a fact, but I believe this listing shares the WiFi with another listing the company owns. It kept dropping with 1-2 bars. I looked around the house and couldn’t find the router. We originally booked for 2 nights, but because of all the issues we had we actually left after one night.

Fun house, fantastic location. Be aware the stairs to bedroom are very steep and longer than normal height.

its great, the stairs to the upper level take some getting used to!

A cute place with lots of character. The stairs to get to the top level were challenging for adults, and our dog was not able to make it without assistance.

The door was left unlocked to the property after cleaning. I was travelling by myself and showed up at 10pm. After calling the property and telling them, they dismissed it and did not send anyone to walk the house with me. Thankfully, I had a co-worker staying relatively close who came out to walk the property in case of intruders.

We had a great experience! Communication with the realty company and check in was excellent. The house is super cute and stocked with everything you will need. The fenced in backyard was perfect for our dog. The only drawback was the steepness of the stairs to the loft. If you can’t carry your dog up the stairs he will not be able to make it up there. Also, the location was perfect!

Perfect dog-friendly place to stay in Davis. It has everything you need. Just be prepared for the steep stairway to the upstairs bedroom. That could be a problem for elderly guests.

Such a fun space to stay! As a photographer I wanted to take pictures of all the things. Super close to ski and great options for dinner in Davis.

This tiny house made for a wonderful great away. Perfect size for two and a pet. Creatively designed with all the amenities that you would need. Lots of outside space on all levels including fenced in yard and a fire pit.
Inside stairs to the loft are tricky and may not be ideal for seniors or persons with physical constraints. I didn’t bother trying to get my suitcase upstairs. This should be added to the description.

I loved the Zen Too! This tiny house built and decorated in the Industrial style is astonishing in its creativity. Loved the simplicity of it and was fascinated by its repurposing of found items. For a tiny house, it really felt quite spacious, with an actual bedroom rather than a loft. And the deck attached to the bedroom is a lovely place for stargazing at night. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, and you can see the surrounding mountains from just about every window in the home. It is perfect for a writer's getaway, for solitary prayer or contemplation, or for just a cool place to hangout and hike the very nearby Blackwater Falls State Park. Would definitely stay here again!

My 1st trip to WV, and this was THE standout of the trip! The pictures on the listing were great, but didn't even do Zen Two justice! It was immaculately clean and charming everywhere you looked. The location is perfect to get you anywhere you wanna go in the area. I was working, so I wasn't able to do big hikes or forest trips but the scenery is beautiful everywhere and I enjoyed walking the little shops in Davis and Thomas. Even if work doesn't need me to return, I WILL be back to the Zen Two in Davis, and I would recommend it highly to the pickiest individual. It beats every hotel I have ever stayed in! I miss it already!

My fiancé, our dog, and I came down for our engagement photos and stayed the weekend. The house is so clean and a perfect place to relax. Having coffee and some stretching every morning on the top balcony was a highlight for me. We would love to stay there again!

The cutest little tiny house that resembles treehouse living. The whole space was designed and decorated perfectly. The kitchen was simplistic, industrial and semi-gourmet. Very nice to walk into the town of Davis. We even walked 2 miles to the Blackwater Falls State Park from the property. We would attest to the stairs being very tricky to use - don't want to make too many trips up and down. Also, the upstairs bedroom heats up a lot during the day and took a while to cool down overnight. A small pile of complimentary firewood for the firepit would have may the stay even better! Overall, would highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a very unique place surrounded by tons of hiking and outdoor activites. We will have wonderful memories from this weekend getaway at Zen too!

Perfect jumping point to explore the area over a long weekend. The space is as described with wonderful outdoor access and attention to detail. Kitchen well appointed (especially with the space limitations!) and check-in/out was a piece of cake. Thanks so much!

We were looking for a low key mini vacation and this stay was great. There’s enough charm and interest in this tiny house to make the whole stay feel special. Then quick access to waterfalls and the rental companies lake with kayaks just made our low key get away perfect. Two adults, 4year old and 7year old all slept very comfortably.

Nice retreat
It was a great base camp to access all the Valley offers. A quick walk into town provides everything you need - groceries, dining, and drinks! Weather was immaculate for us!

Nice trip with caveats
I liked the property a lot, and my family mostly had a good time. I don't recommend staying here with a pet though. The stairs are very steep, and if your dog is like mine and sometimes roams at night, there's a chance they fall down the stairs because there's no walls next to the stairs (just some railing). My pup also had trouble descending the stairs; tbh, it might just not be the best stay for anyone (person or pet) who isn't able-bodied.
Great, quirky place overall, but I strongly recommend leaving the pup at home.

This tiny cabin is just beautiful - extremely well thought trough industrial design - optimal use of space. Very well equipped kitchen, gorgeous views because you live on 2nd and 3rd level. Multiple terraces and balconies, all wooden. The bathroom is so pretty! Concrete floors with floor heating combined with black metal, wood, black sink and the coolest wall tiles.
We - and our dog - loved every second in this special little house with its super cute cozy, fenced yard.
The location is perfect, just a short walk away from Davies' Main St.

Great little escape
We had a great stay! The cabin is good for two people and the decks and yard were great, lots of sunshine and breeze. The amenities and supplies [especially kitchen stuff] was great! The stairs going to the bedroom are steep so had to carry the dogs. Perfect escape from DC to go to the waterfalls and hike around then enjoy the cabin and local Davis' restaurants [Sirianni's Café's pizza was great!]. Would like to come back a little later in the spring or fall...
