ACCESS DETAILS: Lake Access and dock slip are located across Marsh Hill Rd and slightly to the left of the Villages of Wisp lake access parking lot. Guests of Cool Change are not permitted to park in this parking lot. Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day. COMMUNITY/AREA DETAILS: This home is located along Marsh Hill Rd. at Deep Creek Lake. This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy. Clean property, easy access to dock. Only a couple minor issues and one large issue. Propane tank ran out in first 30 minutes of using it on the first night but luckily I made it work the rest of the weekend. Second minor issue was the hot tub was not turned on/heated up and it took a long time to get to a proper hot tub tent. Third issue, which was major, we were all hanging out on the front balcony when one of the neighbors showed up, walked through the bottom floor to get to the top floor, and thought it was okay to just start hanging out with us because he knew the owner of the home and was part of the HoA. We proceeded to kick him out and we caught him trying to get back into the house two additional times. We had to threaten police presence for him to leave. Luckily it was a house full of guys and nothing was stolen, but if it was a group of females, I would feel very uncomfortable and unsafe for them. After that incident we felt unsettled about our belongings in and around the house and had to monitor the property the remaining nights we were there.

House was very accommodating for our group of 12 Love the pool table and ping pong and great place place to hang out on the patio. Was nice to have a dock to bring our boat and a Great Lake for boating.Overall we had a great time.

Came for a short family get together for Thanksgiving weekend. Family is spread out between several states and Deep Creek was a good location for all to travel too. We all had a fantastic time staying at Cool Change. The home had lots to do to keep kids busy and very comfortable for all.

We booked this property for our family summer vacation. We loved it! Cool Change had all the things to entertain our crew and fit us comfortably. Good size kitchen for cooking our meals and that beautiful dining room table fit us perfectly. Great location to everything; particularly Wisp if you are looking to go to the area for that reason. The dock is placed across the street, it has wonderful Adirondack chairs already down there for you to sit and enjoy the lake view. The outdoor fire pits were another favorite for ending the night with s’mores. Overall we greatly enjoyed our stay at Cool Change and can’t wait to return, maybe to check out another beautiful season in Deep Creek.
