The building was built in 1891, and has served as retail first floor and the top two floors as YMCA, and for many years the local Elks Club. Now it has five modern up to date apartments. All close to the downtown action of beautiful Alpena. Amazing Downtown Apartment, walking distant to everything Alpena has to offer. Within a four block circle you will be able to eat, drink and shop. All within a safe and comfortable walk. Within three miles from the hospital and schools. This is a second floor apartment, must be able to walk a flight of steps.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay as the property was on the edge of downtown Alpena, which has developed into a nice evening destination. Recommend dinner at Fresh Palate and Red Brick.

Booking and communication with the owner was an easy process.
We were really impressed with the property! The rooms were very clean, large living area , fully stocked kitchen, nice shower/bathroom, comfortable bed - really all was beyond our expectations.

Highly recommend! Clean and super spacious. Located right in downtown Alpena so you’re close to restaurants, shopping, marina and nightlife. Chad was easy to work with and helped me out with some limitations due to my job. I will definitely stay here again in the future if it’s available.

Fabulous place! Squeaky clean, beautiful and within EASY walking distance to everything we love in Alpena. Lake Huron sunrise was amazing.

An absolute gem. Beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and well stocked. A few minutes walk from dining and the downtown area. Truly a home away from home!

Felt Right at Home
This was an absolutely great place to stay. Super clean and well decorated apartment with all the amenities you could ever need. The building is a really neat and historic 3 story brick former Elks lodge in a great part of town. We were able to quickly walk to dinner, drinks, ice cream and antique and gift shops downtown. The owner was very responsive with questions and helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

FROM NY TO ALPENA!
My brother and I drove to Alpena to meet his 4 month old grandson for the first time . I didn't want to stay in a hotel and finding this diamond in downtown was absolutely perfect. The kitchen is so well equipped. I even brought, NY Italian food in trays and was able to easily provide dinner for 4 visiting adults and the baby and his Aunts. I will absolutely stay here in the future if I could! Thank you thank you! Family is everything.

The space in this historic downtown building is beautiful and spacious. We look forward to returning to Alpena and here again.
