Great location, facilities and hosts. I would highly recommend

Great property with a clean and comfortable room. The location was great as it was just a 5 minute walk down to the bay. There was a wide choice at breakfast and it was very organised. The hosts gave us great recommendations on what to do while we were there.

Great guest house

The Birtley BnB was excellent in every way, owners Darren and Anna very friendly and helpful, made you feel welcome from the start. Room comfy and very clean everything had been thought of, the quality and choice of breakfast was also excellent. Highly recomend staying here you won't be disappointed.

Great location & friendly

Very homely feel , great breakfast & attentive owners

We were ok but please bear in mind this property is at the top of the steep hill into Robin Hoods Bay village so could be tricky for anyone with walking difficulties

Extremely happy with our stay, wonderful hosts, booked again next year!

Brilliant rooms with a real eye for detail. Exceptionally clean with lots of extras to make the stay comfortable and to meet our preferences eg. Heater, Netflix, fan, mini fridge. Breakfast was top quality, tasty and brilliant variety. The hosts couldn’t do anything more for us, they were friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and made us feel so very welcome. We felt very looked after, Nothing was too much for them. Thank you so much for helping us have a lovely new year away after a tough year for our family :)

Spotlessly Clean, great place to stay!

Everything, Anna & and Darren, were very attentive. Absolutely spotless place, really warm and welcoming. Food was tremendous and location amazing. The most amazing bed with beautiful duvet and pillows. Like sleeping on a cloud x

Perfect in every way!

This hotel was excellent in every aspect. The owners are such lovely people. The breakfast was the best ever. Our room was beautiful and the location is perfect.

Cosy and fun stay at Robin Hoods Bay

We loved our stay, the breakfast was fantastic. The room was comfortable, had a lovely view and all the things we could need to make our stay comfortable. Perfect distance from the village and many lovely walks in the area.

Welcoming stay

Breakfast was outstanding as local produce was used. I had the dirty hash brown which was something I have never eaten but well worth a try. Owners were very welcoming and friendly with lots of local knowledge to help with your stay. Views from the room windows at outstanding , and a quick walk from the bay.

Highly recommended

Highly recommended. We had the luxury double with Seaview. Standard of furnishings and equipment much better than what you'd normally get in a BnB. Room cosy but everything you need for a couple of days. Comfy bed and plenty of storage space. Delicious breakfast with lots of choice. Darren and Anna are very friendly and helpful. Lots of local information and recommendations. Darren even went out to get us a new TV when ours didn't work! Lovely meal at the Victoria next door. Fantastic steak pie at the Bay.

Storms, sea and spooky stories!

Welcoming and clean. Great location for the Bay and good parking. Owners very helpful and gave some great tips on where to visit in the area. Fab ghost walk in the village with Rose, very entertaining!

Very high standards comfortable, clean, all we needed to help enjoy our stay, friendly and welcoming well organised, breakfast good choice and yummy, lovely terraced building with character and lovely decor and features great TV with Netflix and Alexa!

We had a fabulous weekend and really enjoyed our stay.

We loved the location and Darren & Anna were so lovely and couldn’t do enough for you to make sure your stay was comfortable. Breakfasts were excellent, the Asian breakfast was really good.

Very pleasant B&B with good facilities. We would go again.

Very welcoming owners and the rooms were first class. Breakfast was excellent. The location is up the hill conveniently located close to some restaurants and pubs.

Breakfast not available until 8.45, which did not fit in with our taxi collection (but good packed-lunch provided instead) If you don't like climbing hills, it's a bit of a climb from the town centre (ok for most people).

Well worth the trip!

What a great place to stay! Our hosts, Darren and Anna, were very friendly and genuinely happy to welcome us into their home and gave us great tips on where to eat and visit. Lovely people. Breakfast menu was well thought-out and there was a great choice. The breakfast room was light and airy and the table laid out beautifully. Our breakfasts for our 2-day stay were delicious and generous - kept us going on our walks until tea-time! Our room and en-suite were spotlessly clean and fresh-looking and spacious enough for 2 with luggage and the bed was very comfortable. The property is well placed for a short walk downhill into the Bay (be prepared for a steep walk back though!) and the carpark was very conveniently across the road from the house. A parking pass was provided which gave us free parking on our arrival and departure days and just a small fee of £3.50 for the full day in the middle of our stay.

There was nothing, we feel, that could have been done better by our hosts and the Bay and surrounding areas were exactly as we had hoped. Good walking, good drinking and great food abounds.

This was our first time at robin hoods bay and it won’t be our last such a beautiful place

We were made to feel very welcome, Darren and Anna are lovely hosts nothing too much trouble lovely breakfast would highly recommend would definitely stay here again.

If I was being really fussy I would have preferred a bigger room but in saying that this did not spoil our stay.

It was perfect in a fabulous b&b in a beautiful place .

Breakfast was perfect . Very tasty and well cooked . The location was great as we were able to easily have a walk before breakfast . Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming . Our whole stay was perfect and we can't wait to return .
