Fully equipped. Nothing is missing. Better than you would expect!

I would improve the natural ventilation/airflow via tubing, but this wouldn't have stopped me from booking here for the night as the facilities present compensate for this flaw with ease!

Family friendly , but some improvements needed

friendly staff, generally clean, lots of luxury (kitchen) equipment. (espresso machine, waffle iron, hand blender, etc.)

If your car is higher than +/- 2m, you cannot park in the garage. It took me 45 minutes to find a parking spot. I also have the habit of removing my bedding when I leave. The most rancid mattress with lots of stains. unfortunately they do not (yet) use a extra mattresscover. They should!

The apartment is clean and comfortable (same as pictures), equipped absolutely with all home appliances and useful things needed, we felt like at our home. Location is convenient too, the settlement is quiet, free parking garage. On the top of everything the owner is really polite, positive and helpful person.

An interesting place to stay, but better suited to a short term let than holiday accommodation

Sometimes when we visit a new city, I choose to rent accommodation in a residential area rather than in the city centre, to get an appreciation of how local people live. This was certainly one of these occasions, although I confess that I hadn't realised quite how far it was outside the city centre. The apartment on the ground floor and would therefore be accessible for people with limited mobility and/or those with small children. It is spacious with an open plan living and dining area. The kitchen is well equipped, with a nice large fridge and there is a washing machine in the bathroom. The owner arranged for us to be able to to park off road, which was a relief, as parking is in very short supply in Karlova Ves. This apartment would provide a comfortable, practical base for someone planning to spend a few weeks in Bratislava and is probably better suited to someone looking for a short term let, rather than most tourists. There is a lot of children's equipment - presumably left by the owners or previous tenant - which would be useful to those travelling with small children.

The main drawback of the apartment is that it is dark, because it only has windows in the lounge. The two bedrooms are small, without storage and feel a bit claustrophobic because they don't have any outside windows. They do have windows that let in light from the adjacent living area, so this could be annoying if you're a light sensitive sleeper, and people are still using the lounge. It's located in Karlova Ves, which is an area of high rise apartments at quite some distance from the centre of Bratislava. There are some shops in the suburb, but they're about 10 minutes walk away and it's quite hilly, so be sure to do your shopping on the way. Key collection was complicated by the fact that our GPS used the the address given to direct us to the other side of the building, and it took some time to find the owner at the entrance to the apartment (which is off a small car park). So get detailed instructions on where to meet (I would suggest that the owner should send guests a sketch map or some photos to avoid confusion).

Not recommended, unless you are ok to stay with smokers

The positives are - apartment is indeed large. Surfaces and facilities were clean. The owner was a kind person too. But there is a big problem with aged cigarette smell inside.

It is literally not possible to breath normally as the whole apartment is full of cigarette odor. People are smoking right under entrance door in common corridor. Otherwise it could be a good place if not the issue with terrible aged smell. Also apartment has no windows. There are two ventilation windows under the ceiling, but they are very hard to reach. And they lead to same area where people smoke. Located on ground floor.

It’s a big apartment with everything you need :) The host is very kind and you can see, that he is doing this accommodation business more like a hobby. The price was 40.- and it is surely too small for this apartment. We will back! :)

Electric Radiator that dry out the air, living room poorly insulated, (cold and smoke from the neighbours), Walter was cold very quickly

As perfect as can be

The stay was absolutely perfect, especially when you look at the price/quality ratio. The host was very kind for us even though we were little late. The apartment was clean and spacy and had absolutely everything inside. Clean towels, sweets, toothbrushes, wines and so on. We can clearly recommend this place and we're 100% sure that we will be coming back every single time when we will have a chance to be in Bratislava.
