Great stay!

The property location was amazing, the building was gorgeous and so well kept, the restaurants were delicious, the roof top stunning and the service was great. Mary was so kind and accommodating.

Good overall, but I'll think twice before deciding to return here. Very small rooms

Great location, good offer (no prepayment, free cancellation until certain clearly defined deadline), very helpful and friendly staff, especially night-shift reception staff. Free printing at the reception if you need it. Room charge included 8 dollar a day allowance to be used at the reception minibar and 15 dollars worth of breakfast vouchers a day (not a lot, but it's something). Excellent rooftop bar and restaurant, serving surprisingly good quality food, albeit somewhat pricey. Small fridge and safe in the room - helpful. There are ironing board and iron in the room - also helpful.

Room and bed were smaller than expected. No breakfast included, you've got to pay considerable amount if you want to have a breakfast in the hotel. Prohibitively expensive spa. Lobby bar shuts at 10 PM. No bar or restaurant working round the clock. Receptionists not willing to sell anything from the bar at the out-of-hours time (which is more or less standard at the european hotels). No shoehorns, slippers, gowns in the room. Low-quality limited quantity coffee pods made available in the room.

Location great. Allowing a night club to ruin the experience every night very poor.

Kept awake by the noise of hotel organised functions every night until 1am was totally unacceptable. The fixtures and fittings in the room were vibrating with the noise. Not recommended if you wish to sleep at night.

Good location, disappointing experience

The staff was very helpful to the extent they could be. The room was clean and pleasantly well appointed. The hotel was conveniently located.

There is a "club" on the rooftop frequented by non-hotel guests that proved to be a significant detraction from our stay. We stayed Friday and Saturday nights. We had a difficult time getting to and from our room since 2 of the 3 (very small) elevators were non-operational and club goers crowded the lobby in the evenings. Even though we had been encouraged by the desk staff to select a room on a middle floor, we were still disturbed by club activity in the middle of the night. Also, the mattress was too soft. At check-out we were instructed to dial 0 for valet service.No one answered the phone, so we went to the desk and back up to our room.

Loved everything about our stay!

Amazing hotel for visiting Washington!

Location is perfect for visiting Washington. The hotel itself looks very nice, from the lobby to the rooms. Beds are soft but very comfortable. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful as well.

Disappointed with a beautiful hotel that lacked the people to deliver the quality of service that it deserved

The hotel was very modern with amazing facilities and location

Cleanliness. On the last morning I moved our suitcase and found a soiled nappy wrapped up on the floor. I mentioned this at reception and basically the attendant just ignored it and exited me.

One elevator was stuck on level M (mezzanine) for our entire 3 day stay. Very inconvenient and frustrating.

Perfect centrally located hotel for a getaway without the price of some of its neighbors - Recommend

The location was fantastic, the room appropriately sized, and the rooftop bar/restaurant were fun. Was the perfect long weekend getaway!

The bathroom sink area was small, particularly if you travel with items such as a flat iron. We did not have a room with a view…was quite a bit more for an exterior room and the “courtyard” view is buildings.

Wonderful stay at Hotel Washington - will definitely come back here.

I absolutely loved our stay in Hotel Washington! Room was comfortable, initially was a bit disappointed since we got a room with no view BUT in the end it was ok because it was a quiet area, we were undisturbed and we got the best night's sleep on all the days we were staying here. The staff were welcoming especially Ermelita and Mary from the FD. The location is wonderful - very close to the White House, lots of restaurants in the general area, Museums are a few mins walk. Felt very safe in the neighborhood and the hotel.

The property is awasome, close to all the museums. Really clean, the staff make sure your room it’s really clean every day.

Super endroit à proximité des stations de métro.

Draps un tout petit usé ( déchirés) En fonction des femmes de ménage nous avions droit aiu pas des sleepers , sortie se bain et autres...... Serviettes de bain un peu défraîchies

The location and bar in hotel was very convenient.

The double room did not have a door separating the shower and sink area. Totally unacceptable for a 4 star hotel. The toliet was so low, older guests would not fair well getting up. I had to open bathroom door to get privacy in the shower and sink area. Very tight for a double room. No soap or shampoo in shower. One night stay and arrived in evening.

Shower did not give hot water despite having it check out by the plumber twice, phone line would not work from the room, room 1310, no matter what I dialed the lines were always busy.

The staff was very helpful and extremely friendly. The property was clean. My room was the perfect size and I love the view at VUE!

Was beautiful, hotel team were attentive, service was impeccable, location was perfect for access to all museums, the national mall and monuments. The rooftop restaurant had beautiful views.

Right across the street from the White House. Rooftop bar offers unparalleled views of the White House and Washington Memorial.

A week-end in the Hotel Washington

The location of the hotel is wonderful close to all the monuments and memorials. Staff was kind and welcoming. The Spa is a treat!

The room was a little small and maybe lacked natural light.

I liked the staff and also the ambience and location was superb.

A fellow guest banged hard on my because according to her my conversations was not allowing her sleep. I apologized but I thought she could have just knocked In a civil way and not like she was coming to raid my room.

Not a 4 stars hotel

Location, friendly services, shower pressure is very good!

Entrance are not obvious especially at night, it is right at a traffic turn corner and guests often has to park in the middle of the road blocking one of the two lanes, the valet has to get the car off the street quickly during busy hours and we witness one of them attempt to side park quickly and almost reverse into our car, he then forgot to put the car in park mode, step out the car, and the car rollaway collided with the side walk, not great. The room toilet basin is aircraft size, practically useless except for washing hand, bed is ultra soft and unsupportive, worse is the sound proofing, we can hear next door conversation clearly including moaning loudly at night.
