the location is good. check in was rather easy too. instruction for check in was clear with video footage. however, we were not very satisfy with the toilet facilities as we do have high expectation on the toilet;s facilities. both bedrooms are fine but we found grey stains on the bedsheet, tiny cockroaches were found crawling on the floor.
good location. very convenient to get food and drink.

Don't book this place if you have sudden plan to come to Penang in the Midnight. Even though they allows you to book in the midnight but please don't book.
I book the place at 12.28am. then I quickly called up the PIC to get the mailbox password. I called up but no one answer I texted him, he see my message but don't even bother to reply. When I reach Penang in the midnight we don't have a place to stay!!! I had to find another room!!! and surprisingly they dare to mark my status as "NO SHOW UP" and had to charge my card.
I'm asking for a refund but their answer is cannot refund, because you had over the check in time, the latest check in time is 11pm.
If you don't let ppl to check in in the midnight, then u don't let ppl to book this property in the midnight right? What for if you let people to book this place at midnight but don't allow them to check in???

While i did give a good review for this, I cant anymore. The owner, Daniel Khoo did not give my RM200 deposit back. I have now resulted to making a police report and also sending an official complaint to the Penang Tourism board for stern action against him. He has not picked up phone calls, or replied texts.
The bathroom doors don't lock properly. Also some of the lights didn't work.

The house has two bedroom and bathroom with 4 beds and two extra bedding which is good for a big family. The view is amazing especially during the sunrise and sunset.
The house is not properly cleaned and dusted. There is dust when we turn on the aircond and there is no ventilation. There is dust on the floor and we found nails and tissues under the couch. The towels prepared have some musty smells like it havent been dried properly before. My family members suffers from flu and coughing fit after we stay there and my nephew who is a year old got hospitalized due to a high fever after staying a night there.

Stayed here for 3D2N, booked it rather last min despite the negative reviews as there were not many choices left. Btw the pictures are deceiving as the furnitures are totally different.
Prior to the check in date, I texted Daniel who directed me to his assistant (Jolyn). I requested to leave my luggage before checking in as I had an early flight. She gladly replied that it wasn’t an issue. Met Jolyn on check in date and she was very helpful.
We received a call late noon that day from Jolyn saying that our unit’s aircon was spoilt and the technicians were still fixing it. Jolyn was kind enough to give us another temporary unit for us to change and wash up.
Fast forward to check out day, jolyn told me I needed to PAY for a late check out which btw wasn’t mentioned to me at all when I asked her prior. Screenshot as below.

How absurd?! I also then asked if we could put our luggage after checking out. Daniel the owner then suddenly called me and I started scolding me that Iwas expecting concierge services?! He then texted me the below:
Extremely horrible and poor service from Daniel. He was rude and sarcastic to us- screaming over the phone and threatening us.
Below is another example of how unruly this man is when I already said we WILL check out at 11am?!
Please take note that with such a service and inflexibility, you are better off finding another accommodation! Do not waste your money and time on such proud owners.

The unit is okay. Value for money... And ok for a small group of people to stay.
THEY WONT REFUND YOUR DEPOSIT.. I REPEAT THEY WONT REFUND YOUR DEPOSIT.
THEY NOT EVEN WILL RESPOND TO YOUR WHATSAPP.. TOOK ME ALMOST 3 WEEK LATER AFTER MAKE MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS TO BOOKING.COM TO GET BACK MY DEPOSIT! AND GUESS WHAT??? IM NOT THE FIRST VICTIM.. YOU GUYS CAN READ THE OTHER REVIEWS HERE TOO.

Location was ok, with food choices
The property was poorly maintained, stains on sofa, permanent stains on the floor, etc. There is no bag drop so we have to lug our luggage and wander around the apt area from 10.30am till 2pm, wasted our time waiting.

The only good thing is the sea view.
Very poor cleanliness, the building and the property are lack of maintenance.
Cockroaches are crawling around and on the dining table, upstair toilet smells bad, bed's pillow cover is yellowish, living room has 2 aircon but only 1 is function (very hot due to double volumn ceiling).
We check out on Sunday, until Thursday still not refunding the security deposit, no respond on whatsapp nor answering call, have to contact booking.com for assistance.

Nice location and nice owner
The room I get firstly is not the luxury suite...it doesn't worth the price. After feedback to owner they changed it for me.
The changed luxury suite, toilet can't close the door..
The bed upstairs make my 3 family members got skin issue ..bite by something for 5 spots and more..i believe the bed do not clean well..
