Great location close to the town centre of Saint Agnes, the rooms and bathrooms are clean, communication with Rosie was easy and she was very accommodating. Beds were comfy, the room also has a sink and coffee and tea were included. Also enjoyed the view on the garden.

We needed one night in St Agnes and Penkerris filled that need. Lovely young manager met us to hand over the keys. This is an old guest house, operating now for many decades with a good reputation. You can heat a ready-meal in your room and there's a basin to wash, heater, fridge with tiny freezer, toaster, microwave, kettle. We had a private bathroom in the hall with our own key. Twin room No.9. Parking on premises. If you, like us, just need a night it is adequate.

Nothing at all.
Cleanliness staff had greasy fingers told us that they had been eating had to wipe hands on their clothes. Entrance covered in shoes under desk . Messy front desk with papers all over . Dirty windows and cobwebs. Washing hanging in a green house very clearly visible with snails crawling up the windows.

Wasn’t a great welcome experience
There was no bathroom ! Just a cubicle with a shower and a loo and a very small toilet sink !!
You couldn’t close the door unless you sat on the loo !!! No mirror to shave ! The shaving light had no bulb in !!! Glad my partner couldn’t come !!
I booked for two people , would have been terrible!!
Finding a pair of pants from a previous guest in the wardrobe was bad but the used panty linner still in the waste bin was the end !!

Friendly, clean, convenient for our purposes.
Parking was tight but always available. We always got back late so always had to park in the space left by others.

Lovely old property with lots of charm. Fantastic location to explore Cornwall.
Rosie was very helpful and always available if you needed anything.
Very dog friendly, with great walks nearby.
Lots of pubs and food outlets all within walking distance.
We had tea , coffee and a slice of homemade cake upon arrival, a lovely touch.
There was nothing we didn’t like, the property is slowly being modernised and being bought more up to date.

We were met by our fabulous host, Rosie who was able to give us lots of useful local information to assist us during our stay. St Agnes is a lovely little village with great character. Lovely Sunday roast at the pub in Trevanauce Cove and The Taphouse was also great for food. Fabulous coves and walks nearby. Guesthouse is a little dated but still has its great original character. Room was large and was adequate for a 2 night stay. We did not have a car but Penkerris is well served by local buses.
Bed dipped slightly in the middle which was actually quite funny in the end!

Comfortable bed, liked having a toaster. NZ man helpful when TV did not work.
Bath and WC not en suite and were used by other guests. Strong warning about fire alarm put us off cooking. Would have liked to have met proprietors. Place had an air of neglect. Kitchenette part of our room needs to be properly updated. All a bit ramshackle. Enjoyed St Agnes very much though.

The owner Rosie was lovely and so welcoming. We loved the garden and that it was so close to St Agnes High st and the beach.
Its was all good!

The location was amazing, so close to the beach and in a beautiful village. The rooms were also so nice and loved the addition of having cooking facilities- made our visit a lot easier. We didn’t manage to see the owners in person during our stay but they were kind and accommodating over message.
The other guests were a little loud (although this isn’t the owners fault).

Location fine. No breakfast but we didn't expect it
There was an issue with the room,. We booked two rooms with en suite. Before we got there we got a message which were the rooms and how to get access. One room was already occupied and the substitute we found did not have en suite

Rosie was very warm and welcoming. The room was a nice size, comffortable with additional kitchen facilities.
Penkerris was only 10 minute walk from St Agnes town centre which was very handy.

Clean, fresh bathroom and toilet . Good kitchen facilities including a fridge, microwave and cooker top. Nice room with sofa .
The mattress needs replacing as my husband and I kept rolling into the middle.

Close by where we needed to be. Price reflected standard of accommodation and Rosie was very welcoming.
This is not a modern B&B and doesn't pretend to be. Great for an overnight stay. Typical of older properties, negotiating staircase and hallways would be an issue for the less agile. A little noisy early evening.
