Wonderful cottage in perfect location, but the double mattress should really be replaced
Brilliant location, just a short walk from the beach and shops / cafes / art gallery. Clean. Relaxing, comfortable living spaces. Equipped with all you need from a family holiday cottage. Lovely seating area out front. Sea views from lots of windows.
For us, the double mattress in the main bedroom was awful - it was mentioned on a couple of older reviews, but we thought we'd give it a go. My wife and I woke up every morning with achey bodies, and I'm not sure we could return as a result unfortunately. If the owners did replace the double mattress though, we'd genuinely book this cottage above all others that we've stayed in in Staithes previously.

Brilliant loved it, the people and place fantastic.
Location perfect, crab & lobster pub menu excellent and we enjoyed every night. The cottage is beautiful, however we are not dog lovers, who ever stayed before us, must have had a dog in the lounge, as we could smell it, Which did spoil it for us, however we masked this with joe mallone pefume. We would still book again. Very clean & warm.
The double Bed was very uncomfortable, so on the 2nd night we moved to the twin rooms, beds were really good.

Beautiful cottage. Perfect location.
Lovely home from home. Spotlessly clean, seamed freshly decorated. Wonderful location. Fabulous facilities.
If i had to say anything, would be double bed in top room, was too soft, we ended up 1 of us having to sleep in twin room But obviously that could be seen as a preference. Whoever it did spoil it a little for us, not being able to sleep together.

A lovely and well positioned property, well furnished and decorated. Highly recommended.
A very cosy cottage. Lovely and fresh decor. We stayed at Sunnydene for Christmas 2022 and the christmas Tree set up by the owner and bottle of wine wase a lovely gesture. We took additional logs and coal for the fire which made it very festive for Christms. Excellent ocation withn Staithes, close to the sea front and Cod and lobster pub just a very short walk.
Not much really.
