One of the most beautiful and thoughtfully curated hotels I have ever stayed in. My husband and I stayed for 1 night in our way to Bocas del Toro and it has been an absolute highlight of the trip. Stunning architecture, hospitable staff, delicious food and high quality cocktails. We loved lounging by the rooftop pool and exploring the courtyard. 10/10 recommend!!!

The Hari restaurant was a big disappointment - dreadful food served cold - the only redeeming feature was our waiter, Freddy who tried very hard to mitigate the second rate food and the high handed manager.

The restoration of the building and the design of the interior is superb. The pool was also a bonus. The food I the Santuria restaurant was very good, and the inclusive breakfast is delicious.

Whereas the bed was vey comfortable, I didn't like the hard headboard. Also the attitude of one or two of the waiting staff wasn't too good. I would also like more tourist information to be made available for visitors.

RooftopPool dürfte größer sein

Lovely property with many restaurants and bars. The buffet breakfast is a treat! So many options with drinks included. Staff very attentive. Quick to rectify and issue we had with the phone not operating and we were upgraded to a better room with an operating phone (since we use room service)

Initially the phone was not working which was frustrating. I had to go downstairs and ask 2-3 times for someone to fix it. Our stay in the American Wing was ok, but upgraded to the French wing was much more luxurious. The bathroom lighting in the American wing was odd, as it lit up the entire room.

Everything. Hotel is amazing! Fantastic central location. 5 restaurants but doesn’t feel big. Luxurious everywhere. Beds super comfortable. Pillows amazing. Massive towels. Rooms lovely. Hi-tech - can connect Netflix from phone onto TV, privacy screen button in shower V cool! Can’t hear noise from street or bars at night. Rooftop pool lovely, they bring fresh fruit skewers to you. Staff super friendly and go above and beyond. What more can I say!!

Our experience with check in with Elias was exceptional. His servIce standard was on par with some of the best places I have stayed globally. He set us up to have an excellent experience. The design and concept of the hotel was imaginative and beautiful. It was an ambitious design that managed to mirror the history of the area with a lovely appreciation of what was unique to the area.

We had one staff member that really stood out, and the attendants at the front door were personable. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff left a poor impression that actually diminished the experience. We were not greeted in a way that felt like we were welcome or guests at the Santuary, Capella or Haris. The resturants/ bar left you feeling like you had to seek out service, the front desk/concierge was not answering after 7:30pm. There may be issues with the way calls are routed because we could only reach a person via the operator button. At best,I felt unable to communicate with anyone in the spa or perhaps actively ignored with basic requests for stronger pressurer and regretted wasting the time on the treatment. I have never had language be a hurdle in a spa setting, but it did not seem as though it mattered to the people there if I was comfortable or satisfied. All that being said, it was still an interesting setting, but over rated as an experience.

Traffic

There are tons of pricey hotels in the area, this one is where you get the most bang for your buck. It’s luxurious, the staff is amazing, and and you have everything you would want out of a vacay. Great bars, nice pool area, and yummy food. The French restaurant 1739, is a MUST!!! Ask for Angelo, his team will take great care of you, and yes the wine experience is worth it!

There was nothing, not to like.

The breakfast included and the amenities. It was also designed really nicely.

The location of this hotel was perfect and central in the old town. The team was very welcoming and make great efforts to make us comfortable. Concierge was excellent. Lots of good food options nearby.

There were a few facility issues but the maintenance team was very responsive.

I liked everything about Hotel La Compañia.

The property met my expectations + more.
