Absolutely beautiful home and property! Easy to get to. We we're hauling an enclosed trailer for our daughter's move in day to WCU. Plenty of space for maneuvering a full size truck with trailer. Perfect distance from the college for visits!

I want to start off by saying the cabin is beautiful and it has everything you need during your stay but I was disappointed that in none of the reviews did anyone state the road is busy, there is a commercial building across the stream from the cabin and there are neighbors right next to you. Also the TV would freeze every after 30 minutes and it would have to be unplugged from the wall. Also note if your party is more than two people there is additional charge for them. (Additional cleaning, wear and tear, supplies etc..) As stated beautiful cabin and it has everything you will need but our family likes to be a little more secluded.

Perfect location, a close & easy drive into town, Sylva/Dillsboro. We were in the area for a wedding and other family activities and the location could not have been better. The home was very comfortable. Looks like a relatively recent remodel and they did an excellent job! Definitely the best equipped & stocked rental we've ever stayed in. Nice yard,, close to Scott creek. Enjoyed sitting on the porch. Hope to be back.

If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place away from tourists, this property is a great place. It's located in a residential area within a short drive to town, and it's both (exceptionally) clean and comfortable. We couldn't get the TV to work properly. We're porch people so it wasn't a problem for us, but if you wanted to have a movie night (or stay in on a rainy day), you may wish to communicate this to the host ahead of time. We can't wait to go back. Sylva has some great restaurants (Forager's Canteen, South of Philly), and the local business owners were friendly and welcoming.

This little house was perfect for our family of 4 staying for graduation weekend at WCU. Its only a few miles to campus and super close to Foodlion. The house is modern and updated and has all the amenities you'll need to stay. It sits right along the river so bring a rod if you like. We communicated with the owner a few different times and she was very fast in responding. If we had any suggestion at all, it would have been to make sure the lawn was mowed before guests arrive. It didn't appear to have been mowed in a few weeks which is a little sketchy in snake season and made it kind of impossible to use the fire pit. But, overall this place still gets a 5 out of 5. We'll definitely try to stay here again.

Very nicely remodeled house on stream near Sylva. Front and back porches made outdoor sitting possible most of the time. We were 6 bicyclists from Wisconsin who come every year for riding in the mountains. Kitchen was well equipped to handle our needs. Very clean inside and out.

Only issue was the basement was cold with no heat. However, it was clearly explained in the beginning by owner. Property owner did a great job with giving instruction on checking in and checking out!
