The location of the townhome gave us easy access to the great beach and cute shopping area. Also, the two grocery stores were very convenient.
As far as your unit, I think you need to update the master bedroom with a new mattress and some much better pillows.
Also, it would be helpful to have window coverings on the side panel next to the front door, the doors in the great room along with the master bedroom.
The kitchen had everything we needed. That worked out well for us.

This condo is excellent and in a fantastic location, but still young and missing a few things.
There is a privacy issue due to a lack of curtains and the bedroom doors are louvered and not solid. Without blackout curtains in the bedroom windows, you can expect to wake up early with the sun. We happened to be there during a full moon which was shining bright through the master bedroom window and almost daylight in the bedroom.
The entire condo was spotless and the checkout instructions very simple which is nice considering what some units are now requiring you to do. The kitchen is well stocked but could use a knife sharpener.
Overall, for the price of this unit, it is an excellent bargain considering the location being central to everything around St. Simons Island. We stayed during Christmas week which is off season so the crowds were extremely small. I can't imagine what this place is like in the summer because it's beautiful, has plenty of things to do and is still very reasonably priced.

We had a great stay. The townhouse was clean, and as described. We were able to easily walk to the beach and it was a very short drive to restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend.

We had a great time staying at Coastal Comforts! The location was absolutely perfect, walked to east beach both days with two 4 year olds in tow, which says a lot. Very close to Southern Soul BBQ and Pier Village as well! Pool was nice and clean, short walk from the unit.
The townhouse was very clean and comfortable, we had everything we needed. Nice size kitchen and a grill on the back patio so we were able to do most meals at home. 2 bathrooms were great as we had 2 families in the home, 4 adults and two preschoolers. This rental was just what we were looking for and we would love to stay again!

We loved the layout of this condo and the fact that it was close to the beach and to the pier area. (We biked to both places.)
It was well-stocked with everything we needed for staying there and cooking. We hope to come back!

We found this to be a comfortable and convenient location in which to stay. Our one suggestion would be to add curtains or shades to the living room & master bedroom. People walking dogs or just strolling by looked in on us downstairs—did not like this, but everything else was up to par. Upstairs the sheer curtains let the sun come in way too early. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable and great location! We loved the decorations and retro feel. Bike rentals were easily delivered and we hit all the highlights of SSI by bike. Exact townhouse number is deeper in description and would be helpful if in address. Thanks for a great stay!

My family really enjoyed our stay at this townhome. The owners were very responsive and courteous! When we arrived, we noticed one of the tires was flat on one of the bikes. I contacted the owner, and he had someone out to fix the bike within the hour. The master bed was very comfortable and my kids loved the bunk beds. We used the bikes everyday to ride to the beach and to look for tree spirits. It was a very nice spring break.

Overall it was great . The property was clean and location was really close to all restaurants and shopping . The beach was .6 of a mile away . It was in easy walking distance . We will go there again .

This was our second visit on the island but our first time staying at this place. It was very comfortable, very clean and beautifully furnished in my favorite color teal! We all absolutely loved it! We brought our own bikes with us, but there were 2 available at the townhouse. The location of this place was great too, just a short bike ride to the beach. We will return!

We had a great stay! We were celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary and this was our 1st visit to St. Simons island. We felt this townhouse was very centrally located on the island. Large kitchen table for puzzle building and game play. Morning coffee on back patio was very pleasant. The binder had a good mix of local eatery options and shops, and the directions to close by places were spot on! We will definitely stay here in the future. Beautiful area!

No problems at all. We liked it a lot and would stay again. The parking for visitors is extremely limited so definitely something to consider if someone plans to have multiple cars.

This townhouse served our weekend stay in every way! Its central location on SSI, very close proximity to East Beach (2 minute drive, ample parking, direct walking path to the beach), and restaurants, -and comfortable, new interiors were great. Don’t let the older condo complex fool you!- This residence is well maintained, extremely clean, and delightful for entertaining. Both generations in our family loved the retro decor which was a weekend conversation piece! Communications with the property host was immediate and helpfully detailed.

Loved the stairs (kept my 'new' titanium knee loose), reminded me of the house in which I grew up - what's old is new again.
The up-to-date appliances were great and the available activity gear (wave boards, bikes, etc.) made for a great stay. As I love to fish, being so close to East Beach (where I used to fish all the time) was great.
We used to live and work on SSI, mother still lives on SSI, so having the room for family to get together was a true blessing.
NOTE: Opening the right French door, I noted the button latch on the top of the door was missing and the spring was bent. I use the same type of spring loaded 'button' catch on a number of doors in my home. A replacement normally comes in a kit; but you only need the button/spring. The cost is minimal and it takes only a few minutes to replace the button/spring.
Not sure when our next visit to SSI will be, but we will definitely put this VRBO on our short list.

The location of the property was perfect. It was close to everything and the people around us were really friendly. The area was mostly quiet. The back patio area was nice and the pool/game area were nice as well. Check in and out was seamless. The book they left to give you the best places to eat and visit was extremely helpful as well.

Cozy at the Coast
Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Coastal Comforts! The retro beach decor was fun and the kids loved the bunk room. It was so nice to be so close to the public beach access just up the causeway. The kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfy. A little home away from home. We’d love to come again!

A hidden gem!
This condo couldn't have been any cuter or in a better location for us. We absolutely loved how they kept it looking like a classic, retro beach condo. Beautiful, full of everything we needed and more. Exceptionally clean! We think we've found our go-to condo for visits back home!

This condo isn't large, but maximizes it's space. It is conveniently located to anywhere you want to go. East Beach is about a 2 minute car ride. Close to shopping in either direction. The property manager is an excellent communcator!
