About this house rental
ADA 'friendly" lakefront authentic chalet inspired with Austrian roots, and a modern update, this 2,200 sq ft home with upstairs loft set on over a half acre is for all family generations and ages! A stunningly unique property right in the heart of the sweetheart city! ADA "friendly" master with king bed, ensuite ADA friendly bathroom with all the accessible ramps and doorways on main level, mobility is carefully thought of to include any mobile limitations. While main level(1300SQFT) is ADA friendly, the upstairs loft wing of the house is very convenient for more family to stay, with a 3/4 bathroom servicing two more rooms. Upstairs(900SQFT) the east bedroom has two queens, and the west bedroom has a queen, a twin bunk and room for a pack N play. 8 mattresses total in home. Each room features a smart TV. (Summertime guests please read **Local family(keeps to themselves) uses south side approx 200 feet of lake front with no access to inside Chalet. Chalet guests use direct lakefront is north side 75 ft of lakefront with their own gate and concrete patio. see notes and pictures. large yard, unfenced.) Multi generations of family can enjoy a relaxing vacation on the lake for swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking. A cozy outside sitting area with fire table on a private side of the house makes watching the sunsets incredibly peaceful, a great yard for volleyball, or baseball games, and an enormous culdesac-like driveway with a basketball hoop, and garage pool table. Combined with wonderful large open kitchen(island seats 7) with stunning views and great hosting environment, this house can do it all! Less than five minutes from a grocery store or restaurant. And at night you can sit in the covered screened gazebo and sip on a cold one and enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains and sunset. Ask about owner permission for private events and backyard weddings. A 40 minute drive to Rocky Mountain National Park, ten minute drive to Fort Collins, and a 5 minute drive to the fun downtown Loveland charm. This home is the perfect place for making memories to last a lifetime! All non-motorized lake activities are swim at your own risk, life jackets will be provided and encouraged. Pet friendly but no fenced yard so NO AGRESSIVE BREEDS. ALL DOGS MUST BE LEASHED, no long barking NO EXCEPTIONS. NEIGHBORS HAVE OWNER PHONE NUMBER SO PLEASE RESPECT THIS. Estate Property has three homes, lake front and large unfenced lawn is shared- Chalet guest area will be shown on a map. (Other two homes are occupied.)

We had such a lovely weekend stay at the Loveland chalet! The host, Ashley, was always quick to respond to questions both before and during our stay. The house was awesome… comfy beds, huge kitchen with space for everyone to congregate, cook, and eat together, and even the Christmas tree was a wonderful festive touch! The garage pool table was a bonus for the adults to enjoy after the kids went to sleep as well. Highly recommend, and if I’m ever back in the area during the summer, I know where I’m staying!

6 best high school girlfriends got together to celebrate our long lasting friendships and approaching 75th birthdays. This property could not have been more perfect. The sweeping views of the lake and mountains and beautiful grounds made for great backdrops for our time together. The location is great for easy access to head up Big Thompson Canyon to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Also handy to downtown restaurants and to the lovely Benson Sculpture Gardens(Amust see). Pretty well equipped including access to the vegetable garden. (The basil was wonderful) The upstairs loft/dorm area was great for us girls and would be good for kids. Might be a bit awkward for couples. We would definitely come here again and actually are hoping to make this an annual gathering place.

My husband and I stayed during the week of our wedding with our dog and some of our family members. The house was an amazing space to stay, plenty of space for everyone and absolutely gorgeous. The porch and outdoor space were so beautiful and peaceful, I loved having coffee on the deck every morning. The kitchen and dining area were huge and made it super easy to have big meals with our families. Ashley was super helpful in booking and answering any questions we had before or during our stay. We would love to come back sometime, absolutely recommend.

We had a lot of family coming in from different states for our son's wedding. This was the perfect place to have us all stay and and be able to be together. My family kept complimenting me on finding this VRBO!

Grandparents, parents and 3 young grandsons had a great one week visit at Lake Loveland Chalet. House was spacious and clean and layout was perfect for multiple generations. Kids loved the big yard, pool table, playhouse, basketball net, fishing and swimming. Lake was particularly high so it was easy to swim from the property. Plenty of things to do for all ages in Loveland and Fort Collins. Added unexpected bonus was Benson Sculpture Park just down the street. Ashley was incredibly responsive to all my questions. Would definitely stay there again!

Perfect for our family summer get together. Plus that the fireworks for the 4th were right outside our door. Beautiful home and great for the whole family!! Would recommend!

This home and property are beautiful! Sitting on the deck and looking across the lake at the mountains makes breathing a bit lighter. The home was very accessible for my 90yo grandma with her walker, plus there was a very nice wheelchair in the garage that helped us out more than we could have dreamed! The inside and outside are all wheelchair accessible, with thoughtfulness in every detail.

I found this property looking for a place that my siblings and their dogs/children could meet and celebrate our fathers 89th bday. He flew in from the Midwest and his jaw dropped when he arrived at the chalet. This place is perfect for multiple families that are looking for a slumber-party type set up (the huge 1st floor master bedroom went to the man of honor) with a kitchen large enough that everyone can help cook and eat together with an amazing Mountain View over the lake. Simply perfect. Everything was great.

Wonderful family gathering spaces, house layout, and views. We enjoyed the large kitchen and cozy living room with fireplace for a lot of hang out time. Thanks for sharing your great place it was a very memorable holiday-- complete with a xmas tree!

We gathered with our 4 adult sons, their wives/girlfriends to celebrate an early Christmas and attend our youngest sons graduation from CSU! We had a blast and the location was so convenient. The sunsets over Lake Loveland were beautiful and the yard was such a plus. Had it been warmer, we would have played out there more. We had pool tournaments in the garage and the kitchen was well stocked. The home has so much character and is plenty big for a large group. Our host, Ashley; was so kind and accommodating and even had a beautiful Christmas tree set up for us! Beautiful 5 days! Thank you

I stayed at this house with my family (6) and my husbands family (3) and two big dogs for thanksgiving this year. We had a wonderful time at this house. The open concept main level was perfect for making meals and hanging out with everyone. The view of the mountains was insane and the house itself was beautiful as well. It was very clean when we arrived and it had pretty much everything we needed. It was so easy to get in contact with the host and she was very welcoming and helpful. I would definitely book this property again!

Ashley was a great hostess for us. The view is beautiful and if you have anyone in a wheelchair the lower two bedrooms are great for them. We loved our stay !

We had a wonderful time here. The chalet is beautiful and the view by the lake couldn’t be more breath taking. Large kitchen was great for preparing food and hanging out. We played games in the gazebo, grilled steaks and roasted marshmallows on a fire table for s’mores.

There are not enough kind words to describe how we felt about this property. The communication was above average from the minute we booked. Furthermore, the house and property itself is extremely unique and our family had so much fun exploring the house, outdoors, and the amenities. We were visiting Colorado so that 6 of our 8 kids could play in a basketball tournament. We thought the tournament would be the major highlight of the trip - but in fact it was the house! From the pool table to the garden outside (with so many fresh herbs) and the kids playhouse outside to the water sports/activities (paddle boards, canoes, and tons of life jackets) we enjoyed it all! We will definitely be returning!

Amazing Home!
I could not imagine a better spot for our Loveland vacation. The view was amazing. The ever changing interplay of the sunlight and cloud cover on the lake and the mountains was very peaceful. I could have sat on the deck all week and been 100% satisfied. The owner includes the use of two paddleboards and two kid-sized kayaks. How amazing in the morning to walk down to the lake and paddle around the completely empty lake. Since most of the residents live here year round, the lake was empty most week days. The home is absolutely gorgeous. Note that the upstairs sleeping area is essentially one big loft. While there is a barn door dividing the space for some privacy, you need to keep it open at night for circulation. This was not an issue for us and in no way impacted our enjoyment of the home. Best location and place ever!!
The location by the lake was heavenly!! Mountain and lake views with the most gorgeous sunsets. Property was clean and spacious! Everyone had a room with tv. We had so much fun and didn’t even need to leave with so much to do right on site. Our family loved it and can’t wait to stay again!! Rocky National Park just an hour down the road and Loveland is full of beautiful sculptures and parks and the best shopping and dining. Overall 10 stars!!

Lake & Mountain View
Unique updated spacious home with open floor plan. Our 2-1/2 yr old granddaughter found the “play” house right away which is a cute mini cottage. She found a baby in there & didn’t want to leave! It was adorable. My teenage grandchildren had fun on the paddle boards. The grocery store, Dunkin’ Donuts & of course Walmart were all close by. We cooked a few meals there, ate out & ordered Chinese. They provided the essentials to make our stay comfortable. Thanks again & so glad I found your home!

Amazing family weekend
My brother and I met our mom at the property and stayed here for their weekend during my cousins graduation. The view across the lake and of the mountains was breathtaking, and the property was fantastic. Great host. Wonderful experience.

Hidden Gem****
Not only is the location perfect, the house is perfect too! The communication with the owner was amazing and we all loved our stay! We had a small family gathering at the home, it was perfect for entertaining. Enough space for everyone to have their own space but also be able to come together for meals and visiting . The owner even had a pack and play set up, a baby gate and some toys for my grandson and our little 3 year old! It was perfect. Even though we had an unexpected snow storm upon our arrival, waking up to see the lake and mountains covered in snow was a wonderful surprise! We will 100% be staying at this location again. You can tell a lot of time and effort went into making this space the perfect get away!

I am a family physician with a large family some of which are grown and moved away. We picked Loveland as a good central location to get together for the weekend. After my older children flew into Denver my wife, I and the children still at home met up at this location. We enjoyed coming and going and playing games. Looking out over the lake, watching sunsets and just enjoying this nice property. Being newly renovated there were a couple of small hiccups that Ashley took care of for us without delay. She is very kind and very responsive to any concerns. I highly recommend this location and especially the host.
