Welcome to Chapel Bay, this breathtaking beach home with an ocean view is destined to fulfill your beach vacation dreams. Featuring a beautiful roof-top deck and a sparkling indoor pool surrounded by glass doors. 1st floor: 2 bedrooms which share a full bathroom, entertainment den with bar, wine fridge, and billiard table complete with flat screen TV just off the pool. 2nd floor: Large family room, Breakfast area, Den area, fully stocked kitchen and a Farmhouse Dining room table, 1 King bedroom and one full Bath nearby. 3rd floor: At top of the stair landing is the Den & TV area with pull out sofa bed size Double, to the left is a King Bed suite with private bath complete with jetted tub, separate shower plus double vanity sink. To the right side is the one walk-through room with Twin/Full bottom bunk, and then two additional bedrooms with Queen beds. All bedrooms except King room on third floor share an in-hall full bathroom. Close proximity to the ocean and offers extra entertainment for the family such as pool table and foosball table as well as free WIFI and cable TV! Nearing 6,000 square feet of space, this lovely beach home is sure to win your heart and allow you and the family the relaxation you deeply need. Several of the previous reviews submitted were prior to transitioning to our property management company. With that said, we have made several adjustments to each of our properties to ensure the best experience for your stay! The property management was attentive and helpful. The home was as described. I would describe the property as comfortable, in that it wasn't too nice that you worried, but still nice that you felt like you were in a more upscale home. There were some minor issues, property management was quick to attend to, so didn't negatively impact our trip. The indoor pool was heated, and the kids loved it! Note: the fridge ice machine is very slow, be prepared to buy or make your own ice. Otherwise, you'll have a great trip!

This place was perfect for a much-needed getaway! The house and pool were both clean and inviting. The beach is just a short, easy walk away The rental agency was very accommodating and helpful. There was one minor maintenance issue, that was dealt with promptly by a very polite gentleman. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time! It's very close to the beach, walking distance. There's a lot of space in the home. However, it needs a lot of updates and could be cleaned a little better. Two of the beds had sand in them on the first night. The outdoor dock is dry rotted in spots and falling through the canal. The grill was broke so we had to spend our own money to fix it in order to use it. The outdoor deck fan wobbles badly and looks like it could fall down on someone. The indoor pool was freezing cold so we didn't use it much at all. Also, the air temperature in the pool room is either extremely hot or cold. It can't be regulated. We called maintenance and they checked it out and said it was normal. There was no coffee pot, just the machine. Even with all the issues, If we ever have a large family vacation we probably would stay here again.

This is a perfect space for large family gatherings - it allows everyone to enjoy individual activities and visiting without disturbing those who may need to nap or turn in early. Our ages ranged from 2-70. The indoor pool was a huge hit and a perfect entertainment when you've had enough sun. We had a wonderful stay, and Ocean Sands Realty was very responsive when issues arise - we discovered an exposed electrical outlet and they sent someone over right away. We also found cigarette butts in the outside grill which a prior renter must've dumped,and they would've sent someone over for that but we cleaned it up ourselves quickly enough. Note that the property is non-smoking indoors and out and except for the grill the property reflected this. Recommended for families with young children: bring window darkeners and gates to keep toddlers away from stairs. Also, if you're cooking, bring needed spices so you don't have to buy the basics at a store. We had a great time and highly recommend the property

The house was great for our families - 7 adults and (5 children ages 1-6) and room to spare for larger groups. We enjoyed the game room, the indoor pool was a favorite, the kitchen has everything you need, the living rooms and bedrooms were a very good size. The outside deck is large and bay dock was great for the fishermen in the group. The house and property was clean. Some areas in the home could use a little TLC but nothing that would hamper a wonderful stay. Ocean Sands Realty was awesome to deal with. They were informative, helpful and courteous. Great vacation!

The property is as advertised. It was comfortable for our group of 11. Plenty of room to spread out. Complete appliances and kitchenware. The pantry was great to put all the food stuff we brought so we didn't have to scrounge thru cabinets to find something.The indoor pool is a unique touch. Beach access is a short 2 block walk which is nice, especially fro the trip back

We had a great vacation stay at this rental. The house is big and accommodated our large family of 15. We loved the access to the beach and the water behind the house for Kayaks. We also, loved having the garage to use to keep all our bikes and beach gear in....that was a huge plus!!! We did not use the indoor pool as often as we anticipated because the water was cold. The kitchen is very well supplied!! The only issue is dealing with the little ants on the counter and in the drawers. We tried to keep the house swept at all times with the sand that gets in when going to and from the beach....I would recommend more than one broom and one the doesn't fall apart every time you use it. We used the grill several times....I would also recommend someone giving it a good cleaning once in a awhile. The large room with the sectional couch....needs a couple extra chairs for a large group like ours to sit together.... we brought in a few of our beach chairs so we could be together in that room. All the things I mentioned were small things and just a suggestion....overall we had a GREAT vacation and the management company was very good to work with!! Thank you!!

1. Property was not cleaned prior to our arrival and was extremely dirty.
2. Property was infested with ants.
3. Washer machine has a lot of mold/mildew on silicone lip.
4. Multiple burn marks and stains on carpet, furniture and deck railing.
5. Damaged counter tops, kitchen flooring and windows.
6.Mutlipule contractors sent out to remedy issues which disrupted our stay.
7. Housekeeping management accused us of saying something derogatory towards a cleaner.
8. Housekeeping management was caught in a lie trying to pin legal drugs that we found on the premises on us shortly after our departure.
9. Receptionist sent us a text message that was not intended for us calling us "Nuts" and asking someone to send a generic statement about the Assistant manager not being in the office that day.
10. We had to get a hotel on the first night, management refuses to reimburse us for the missed night on their property.
Overall, the property is nice but needs some much needed attention. The property management on the other hand is terrible, rude and difficult to work with. We would not recommend staying on this property under the current property management.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous location. It provided space for relaxation and entertainment for all ages. The kids loved the indoor pool which was next to the game room. Beach access was only a short walk and the canal in the back was nice to sit by any time of day. We would definitely stay here again.

Chapel Bay is the perfect location with great access to the bay. It’s a large spacious home that worked very well for my family. The house has some age and seems it has been a rental for a long time. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

House was very clean and very spacious. Had lot of bed and rooms to accomodate all of us. Kitchen was well-equipped with 2 long tables. There is a porch balcony on the 2nd floor where you can grill and eat outside. Pool is not heated, but was clean. Some of the locks don't work. They provided linens, pillows, some towels. checkin was easy just had some issues with the smart code they sent.
1st floor: bar, pool, laundry room, 1 bathroom and 2 rooms (queen/twin full bunk), 2nd floor: kitchen, 2 living rooms, 1 king bed, 1 bathroom. 3rd floor: master br/ba, 2queen bedroom, 1 living room with pull out, and an extra twinfull bunk with a pullout. The beach was a minute walk. Would like to come back during the summer.

The house and location were amazing! Unfortunately, 3 of the kids in our group got minor chemical burns from the treatment in the pool. The pool had entirely too many chemicals. Our kids’ got a chlorine rash every time they swam— very painful.

This is our second year coming here. There were some updates made but truthfully we were very happy last year. Had our kids and grand kids as well as our parents. Love that we can also bring our pets. The place was pretty clean but might like to see the floors a little cleaner. Wasn’t spotless but clean none the less.

Beautiful home, plenty of room for our group of 15. The location was fantastic, a short 5 minute walk to the beach, right on the inlet for beautiful views, and close by to shopping and restaurants. The property itself was poorly maintained however. Weeds growing out of the gutters that dripped onto the deck, beer bottles in the lawn, wasp nests by the entrance, ant problem in the kitchen. The pool was nice, again not very well maintained but definitely usable. A bed was broken when we got there as well as the oven fan grate but both were taken care of almost immediately after we called the company that takes care of it. Overall we had a great time at the house but would only stay again if they gave it the maintenance it needs

The location of the property was fantastic the size of the property was more than we expected the issues we had with the property were: it was dirty ants all over the kitchen the pool area had trash all around the pool we were unable to use the pots and pans and dishes until we washed them it was almost as if somebody put them away dirty on the dock down by the water somebody left fishing Hooks, line and bait. Fortunately we were able to see them and remove them before any harm was done to the dogs or to us with all that being said because of the great location and the great layout if the house we would definitely rent the house again but would like to see it a lot cleaner especially the dishes and the pool area.

Great home, with access to the canal and an easy walk to the beach. Layout was good for our four families with room to spread out. For the number of people the home can sleep, the kitchen is small and very under equipped (not enough plates/cups/silverware) and the biggest downside is no outdoor shower when returning from the beach. The indoor pool was a nice feature, but could use some TLC. It allowed us to still swim and keep the kids occupied during afternoon thunderstorms which was great. The walk to the beach was easy, and canal access allowed for pretty views and use of a kayak. Property was clean but could use some updates and upkeep.

Family getaway
The layout of the house allows for different ages to be together-pool, pool table, foosball, tv, large table upstairs to play games(poker, uno, taboo)
The second floor deck was great place to enjoy morning coffee or sunset. Tables accommodated eating space outside and a 2 year old to run around. Dock was another area that was lovely to sit out on.
Pool was an area that needed work- sliders were difficult to open and close and fans above pool were not operating. Short walk to beach. Convenient to a produce stand with wonderful fruit and vegetables in addition to delicious steamed shrimp.
We enjoyed our week stay. Management was very responsive when called.

Layout of this house was perfect and spacious, very comfortable beds, beautiful deck with plenty of seating gatherings but unfortunately it stops at that. This house needs some TLC and a very through cleaning. My wife made the mistake of walking barefoot on our 1st day and by the end of the day the bottom of her feet where black. Cant understand that cause you are paying for cleaning. Also kitchen was loaded with ants couldn't put anything on countertop otherwise you would have ants on your stuff. I do have to say we had a problem with one of the TVs and the rental company sent out a person to fix it right away. Pool needs TLC also.

been having annual beach trips for couple years now and this is probably our least favorite beach house we have been to so far. Half of the doors have broken locks/jammed, bugs everywhere (with windows and doors being jammed no surprised), ac was inconsistent and lastly there is no outdoor shower, just a hose in the garage that you have to go inside the house to get into (immediate entrance door is jammed). Overall it kind of surprises me how much people can charge for houses that are not well kept. Oh lastly, some of the couches I believe have bedbugs, mainly the tore up ones in the smaller living room.

The property was nice and in a very peaceful location. We had no trouble finding the property or entering. The indoor pool is why we came and the children had a blast.

We rented this property for a week. Overall the house was nice, clean inside, lots of space. We did have a few problems that took almost till the end of our stay to get resolved. The bedrooms downstairs had no working AC and was extremely hot. We had to purchase fans. The pool area was not very clean and the chlorine was so high that several of the kids were complaining of severe burning and itching. The house needs a good power washing due to the insane amount of spiderwebs, dirt, and grime on the outside. The grill was clean and the propane tank had enough gas but do not use the grill at night… the mosquitos and bugs bit myself and my husband like crazy and when you open the door they all flew inside. The toilet in the master broke ( unable to flush without opening the top), and the TV on the family room did not work. I emailed and called (several times) the property manager about all of the above things with no answer and finally on Thursday my husband spoke with someone and some things were fixed ( toilet, TV, and pool guy came to adjust the chemical). I would recommend to bring all of your own linens and towels even though they are supplied.. the towels and linens in the master room upstairs had nasty stains and I had to wash the sheets the first night and we just used our towels. I think the house was great for my large group (14 adults and children), walking distance to the beach, but those few issues would not have me return to this property again.
