About this house rental
This rustic luxury large home offers you plenty of space to spread out and enjoy your Tahoe vacation. Step into our large living room with plush leather sectional, heated floors, flat-screen TV, and stone-lined fireplace. This house comes with ping pong, fire pit, hot tub, grill, Roku TV, bikes, foosball, 2 refrigerators, a fully stocked kitchen, and a peek of the lake from the balcony. You’ll quickly find all of the space in the open and fully-equipped kitchen to be tastefully and efficiently used, with multiple sinks and uncrowded appliances ensuring there’s never a line to refresh your drink or grab a snack. On this main entry-level, you’ll find the first of six bedrooms. The wood-trimmed Master Bedroom, with a California King bed, ceiling fan, and elevated ceilings welcomes you to take a respite, and the attached ensuite awaits to comfort you with a walk-in steam shower and separate soaking tub. On the lower level of this home, you will find five more bedrooms. Three of these bedrooms host a queen size bed and ensuite bathrooms, another queen bedroom with a shared hallway bathroom, and a bunk room with twin over full-sized beds and a game area. The lower level also has a second living room and access to the beautiful backyard and hot tub. The amazing amenities in the home feature a ping pong table, foosball table, and Nintendo. Or enjoy the use of our bicycles in the summer and take the bike path to Tahoe City, Squaw Valley, or to the West Shore of Lake Tahoe. Great property, perfect location for easy access to Palisades / Tahoe City. The home was well-equipped, the kitchen was loaded with everything you could possibly need. Very comfortable beds, even the bunks!

Our annual family reunion was well-placed by staying at the Big Buck Lodge. All six bedrooms and bathrooms were welcoming and functional. There was plenty of room inside and out to meet as a group or to get away from the hustle and bustle of a reunion. We really enjoyed the closeness to wonderful wooded hiking trails. And visiting in early October brought cool, pleasant weather and fewer traffic jams. Would consider Big Buck again

The property was very nice. It had everything that we needed or wanted!! The location was great! I called about trash pickup from previous guests and they were prompt in taking care of it! There was a very nice playground at the school and hiking trails within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!!

Very nice home in an older residential neighborhood (one of the nicest perhaps). Kitchen is fully equipped with tons of glasses and dishware! Keurig may have been broken, but there was a regular one there, so NBD. Mini ice in small refrigerator was a big hit, although my husband did hear the ice maker running at night. Mattresses were fine although I think new ones should be considered because some did sag. Overall very clean. 5 full bathrooms which was great for our large group. Very close to Tahoe City which was quite convenient. Lots of walking and biking trails in area. Beach was about a mile from the house...easy walk down, straight uphill almost the entire return walk. Only real downfall was that we could not turn off or control the radiant heat. There were thermostats, but it didn't seem to make a difference how they were set. House always seemed to be 75 degrees despite being set at 63 --outside temp was high 30s/low 40s at night, 60s in day. We did not contact anyone so cannot comment on owner/management response to the issue.

We stayed at Big Buck Lodge for a senior leadership retreat and the house was perfect for our group. House layout fit great for us and would be great for large family groups as well, only issue we had during our stay was the coffee maker did not work.

The house is well appointed and the amenities were great. The layout was great for our group. We did have some issues with our stay. The mattress springs were saggy in several of the bedrooms and resulted in aching backs. The ice machine was directly above one of the bedrooms and made a loud buzzing noise every 5-10 seconds that made sleeping difficult. There was a large leak from the kitchen sink that poured water into the bedroom below. To their credit, the latter two issues were resolved by property management in a reasonable amount of time. However for the price paid, I would have expected a smoother stay.

Our new favorite house in Tahoe! Amazing kitchen equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was perfect with plenty of space for our gathering of 5 couples. We loved the wonderful big hot tub.

We had a great stay. The house was perfect for our group of 11 and everyone had plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked for us to cook. Great proximity to Northstar and Palisades. We didn't have power for part of our trip due to the storm, but the rental company was very accommodating with our checkout.

We were a group of nine in the Lk Tahoe area for a few days of mountain biking. This was our 4th epic trip and the hands down the nicest place we have stayed. This house is wonderfully appointed from top to bottom. We cooked some dinners in and the kitchen had everything one would need to create gourmet meals. The large layout was perfect for our group and we enjoyed cards on the deck, grilling our dinners, a quick soak in the hot tub and even had our own mini ping pong tournament. Can't say enough great things about this property. Hope to come back another time. Thank you to the management company for the ease of check in and out. Outstanding all around!

The communal spaces in this property are outstanding. The kitchen was special and had every piece of cook and eating ware you would ever need. It was hot while we were in Tahoe so the bedrooms were pretty warm at night, and some fans were too noisy to use. But overall, it was a great experience.

Pre Wedding celebrations
A beautiful, wonderfully maintained mountain lodge with a fully equipped chef’s kitchen. The large game room was perfect for children of all ages.

Plenty of cupboard and refrigerator space. The many bedrooms and bathrooms accommodated our family of twelve perfectly, with beds left over. The bunk room is so cute. The furnishings are beautiful and beds very comfortable. The master shower is gorgeous. We used the ping pong table. I’ve never seen so many bath and beach towels and the bath towels are so plush. There are also bikes and so many extras. It was a beautiful place. One thing it does not have are trash bags, so remember to bring those. Otherwise, it is well stocked. We loved it.

Wonderful space for a larger group gathering, we never felt cramped! House is walkable to the lake and cross country skiing.

There was more than enough room for everyone to spread out and wonderful spaces for everyone to come together (dining table for 12, large wraparound sectionals, large hot tub, etc). Also, we could not find the thermastat (only the ones for heated floor) and the house was HOT. So even in January we had windows open at times. Nice perk was the open space area a block or so away was great for a winter walk, snow shoeing, distance skiing and sledding. Overall, excellent stay, great house, very comfortable and would definitely stay here again
