It has a queen bed, sofa sleeper and sleeps 3. There is a room unit air conditioner in the living room as well as a ceiling fan and a flat screen TV . Kihei Bay Surf Studio #218 is equipped with unlimited calling to U.S. and Canada and wireless internet service. Coin-operated laundry room on-site. Please note: This unit is on the second floor with no elevator available. Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation. Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights. The Kihei Bay Surf is located in North Kihei across the street from the Whale Sanctuary and Kalepolepo Beach and an ancient Hawaiian fishpond. Each studio has a fully equipped kitchen, Cable TV and can sleep 2 people. In addition there is a large pool, hot tub, tennis court, gas grills and common laundry areas for your use. Whale watch, windsurf, walk the beach and enjoy the most amazing sunsets imaginable. The Kihei Bay Surf is centrally located to shops, restaurants and is just minutes from the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena. This is one of the best values in Kihei. ** Important Update: A construction project is scheduled for April through July 2024 (estimate). The work will consist of removal of the old roof and solar panels, and installation of the new roof and solar panels. Work is allowed Monday-Saturday from 8am-5pm. Equipment will be staged throughout the complex as they work on each section of the roof. This work will consist of loud construction days. We were supposed to camp at Hosmer grove the night before checkin but the Kona storm had other ideas. Luckily we were able to check in a day early. The women I spoke to at the property management company was so helpful in accommodating us.

This was the perfect size for me and two other friends. It didn’t feel crammed or too tight for three of us. We loved how it was in a convenient location in Kehei, a short distance to so many beaches and great food.

The property was perfect for our needs. It was comfortable and contained everything we needed, like pots and pans for cooking meals ourselves, beach chairs and some snorkeling equipment. The location was great--close to shopping, restaurants, numerous parks and beaches. Right across the street was a beach where green sea turtles came to rest at night. The property management was also very responsive. The AC happened to stop working, and they sent someone shortly after I talked to them. The unit was replaced and we had working AC again in a few hours.

My husband and I would stay again. We needed somewhere that was clean and simple, central to hiking opportunities, and stocked with beach chairs/towels. This checked all of those boxes and we had a wonderful first trip to Maui. I enjoyed running along the sidewalks on the street of this condo in the mornings. Mahalo!

Yes the air con and fan were noisy but understand that all places with these types of air con units do sound like that. Bed was a little soft for my liking but no complaints. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Clean and comfortable place to rest and relax. The beach chairs provided were appreciated. This location was great as it was close to many restaurants and we found it easy to drive to Road to Hana and Haleakala. The Whale Sanctuary and beach was also across the street. When we visit, we will not hesitate to book again!

Well appointed unit. Easy access to restaurants & some wonderful bakeries. It was just aggravating that I overlooked that it’s on 2nd floor & we had carry our suitcases upstairs. I have a bad back & would have selected a unit on first floor or with elevator.

The unit was accurately depicted in pics. Fully stocked with mini kitchen and full refrigerator with coffee appliances. Very clean inside but the grounds were a little old and run down but didn't bother us. Location is a little off the beaten path but that didn't bother us as there are miles of beaches just across the street. A little bit of wonky interior decor but again clean and had everything we needed.

My friend and I and our adult children rented 3 units total. They all vale equipted with snorkle gear, beach chairs and beach towels. The thing I would say was the best was the location. It's close to everything food stores, food trucks, a nice little swapmeat with excellent prices, restaurants, the very best shaved ice, and it's right across from a beautiful beach were we got to see huge turtles. The onsite parking is very convinient.

This property had all the necessities, including ample beach towels and even 2 beach chairs. There was a beautiful beach right across the street where we could enjoy being in the ocean and see the sun set. Overall, it was a great stay

Alles wie annonciert vorgefunden. Zentrale Lage an der Südküste von Maui. Auch mit dem öffentlichen Bus ist eine Erkundung der Insel Möglich. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants per Bus (Bushaltestelle Northbound vor dem Objekt, Southbound 5 Minuten Fußweg) oder nach einem kurzen Spaziergang erreichbar. Die ganze West und Südküste kann bequem per Tagesticket (gibt es beim Busfahrer) erkundet werden. Interessantes Buckelwal Marinezentrum direkt gegenüber und ein fantastisches Aquarium mit einer beeindruckenden 3D Präsentation eine kurze Busfahrt entfernt. Ebenso die sehr schöne ehemalige Walfänger Stadt Lahaina die alles bietet was das Touristenherz begehrt.

This place was a perfect landing pad for the last part of our trip to Maui; it’s across the street from a lovely beach/park and in a great location to get to lots of other beaches/attractions. They use a different app for access (called Hospitality) and info about the condo which I didn’t love, I prefer to keep it simple and just use one app.

Reviewer Comments: Die Unterkunft war sauber und die Vermietungsagentur sowie die Lage in Ordnung.
Jedoch war die Ausstattung des Appartements bereits in die Jahre gekommen:
Die Balkonmöbel sind sehr abgewohnt, auch die Küche ist schon älter, der Schrank im Flur und das Licht waren kaputt, das schmale Bett war sehr durchgelegen und wackelig. Was auch gegen erholsamen Schlaf gesprochen hat, war die extrem laute Klimaanlage. Wir würden die Unterkunft nicht mehr buchen.

Because of the old and/or not working funiture/amenities we can not recommend this place.
We could not get enough sleep because of the old bed and the very loud air conditioning.

It's nothing fancy, but it's in a great location, it's clean, and it's got a bed. Perfect place for someone looking to explore the island and just have a place to sleep with a few amenities. Also, if you follow the house rules you won't get bugs (see people talking about bugs in the reviews, but I saw nothing so seems like user error).
