All went well. The property was clean and comfortable. Parking was a big plus! The thermostat was high tech and I didn’t look for or ask instructions. So, we couldn’t have confident control of the temperature. But no real problem there. The weather was exceptionally nice and we would have liked to have open the blinds for the sunshine; but the windows were covered with insulating plastic that barred access to the blinds. The house was likely much warmer and the cost less, but still a bit disappointing not being able to open things up. Since we weren’t there much during the day, we only missed the early morning sunshine. I would recommend it to friends.

Budget stay close to rail system for easy sightseeing. Near nieces who work/study in Boston. Off street parking a plus.

This is a pleasant little Boston-style place. Had all we needed for a 2 night visit. Perfect location to walk to grocery/restaurants. 10 min walk to T stop, 20 min walk to BC campus. Quirky art, unique place. Fit 4 of us well.

Clean, spacious flat with everything you need - comfy beds, parking, fully equipped kitchen, and most hygiene items on hand. Two blocks from Chestnut Hill T station on the green line (D train). Great for visits to BC, BU, and Fenway. Host was attentive and responsive.
Not the quietest neighborhood. One day we had exceptionally low water pressure and extra hot, making showers uncomfortable.
Overall would stay again if traveling with family. Good price for a launching pad.

This house is eclectic in decor and layout, and super comfortable. The beds were really nice and there was lots of extra bedding if needed.
Some things are a bit rundown in appearance, such as the patio and driveway, and the water pressure in the shower was either perfect (or absent if someone else in the apt was using water), but overall the inside space was lovely and we enjoyed our stay.

Great apt with a 10 minute walk to the green line. Exactly what we needed.

Perfect location. Outside is very overgrown with weeds. Felt like walking into an old house out of a fairy tale, suspicious of what was “lurking” inside. A/C window units were all off so interior was very warm. Heard someone in the house, found housekeeper cleaning bathroom behind a closed door. Bathroom is very small, when he emerged 5-10 minutes later he was drenched in sweat. I felt sorry for him. Awkward for both of us.
Because this is an older home we did not open doors to most closets for fear of what we may find. Window A/C units worked but very loud. Listed to sleep 6, I don’t think so. Maybe if 4 were kids.
Pull all the weeds, close open garage doors and remove the fairy tale first impression. I would have slept better if those minor changes made.

Lovely home with personality - from the leather couch to the artwork to the orange juice press. Really enjoyed our visit.

Cute, casual, and clean place to stay if visiting Fenway, The North End, or Boston College. Comfy beds, eclectic art, and a private porch to boot.

Stayed here for a short college visit to Boston. Good central location near Green Line with parking. Apartment was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. 4 star rating for location was due to jackhammering at 7am from adjacent construction - obviously not the owner's fault but could be an issue for upcoming guests.

Great spot, just off the green line. Property manager was very responsive and helpful. Good trip!

We enjoyed our stay at this duplex in Chestnut Hill. It was a quiet and great location for walking to the T station and venturing in to town. It was spacious enough for our family of 5. Our kids loved the fresh squeezed orange juice!

I stayed here with my husband, our 2 kids and their grandparents and we really enjoyed the stay here. The house was perfect for us, there was a playground close by for the kids, it was a short walk to the T station to get into the city and there were lots of great restaurants nearby. We found everything we needed in the apartment, the host was very quick with communication and the oranges for fresh pressed orange juice was a great touch! Loved it!

My sister and I appreciated the Chestnut Hill/Brooklyn location near Boylston Street for driving into Boston.
The apartment was well stocked and very clean. Having a bowl full of oranges provided for making fresh squeezed juice was a great touch.
Thank you, Michael.

Michael was very responsive to all of my inquiries and he made sure the place was clean when we arrived. The property was is good condition and very spacious. It is in an excellent location that is near the a T stop, a movie theater, restaurants, and is not on a busy street.
My friends and I all had a good time.
The beds were also very comfortable.
I would recommend this place to anyone staying in the Newton/Boston area.

This was a beautifully decorated place, super clean and well kept. The beds were so comfortable, and the pillows so fluff, we had better sleep there than at home. Also, probably one of the most beautiful towel folding I've seen.
The kitchen was complete with appliances, utensils (strangely, apart from teaspoons) and all sorts of dishes and glasses, making cooking and dining in an absolute breeze. Communicating with Michael was seamless and a true pleasure - he was very responsive, helpful, and entirely accommodating. The only slight issue was the location - while the it completely suited our needs, and we felt very safe in the area, it was a bit distant from Boston, at around 45 minutes via public transport - 10 minute walk to the green line, and then about a half an hour to downtown.
All in all, I would wholeheartedly recommend this property to other travelers, and would definitely stay again myself if we're ever around.

Misha was quick to respond to any queries and the stay went well. The property is dated & requires some TLC.

There were only 3 beds. Not the 4 that were listed. No pull out couch bed.

I joined several of my high school classmates for a 65th birthday weekend. This house served as our base. The location was perfect for walking to local restaurants/ shops. Very clean and a well appointed kitchen. A few minutes from the Chestnut Hill Green Line T stop. Reservations were easy and the owner was quick to respond to our questions and offer advice. I highly recommend this lovely home for your next visit to the Boston area.

Cute and quirky. Very well equipped with everything we needed for a weekend visit. Very nice neighborhood, with great friendly neighborhood diner just around the corner. Only downside, train line nearby was down for repairs.

An eight minute walk to the 'T' gets you to Boston's attractions and a five minute walk to the grocery store from this home. The neighborhood is quiet and beds are comfortable, air conditioners in each room. As the photos show, it's an old property, but is functional. The host responded quickly to messages and filled the fruit bowl with oranges. Thanks for the stay!

Even prettier than it looks in photos. Totally charming, and our favorite spot to relax was the shaded side porch. Michael answered all my questions immediately and was very accommodating. There's a great little restaurant around the corner, a wine shop 2 doors down, and the train station is just a few blocks away. What more could you want? 😊 Definitely recommend!

Quiet, clean and convenient!
This apartment was perfect for our family's trip to Boston for the fourth of July weekend. This apartment is clean and the kitchen is stocked well. It's just a very short walk to the Chestnut Hill T stop, the grocery store, and lots of different restaurant options. There were plenty of towels, linens and pillows for our family of 5. The bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, as well as cups and a hair driwith a diffuser!! For the summer months, this place was nice and cool with a units in each room.
Most importantly, Michael is an excellent host. Everything was exactly as was described. He was very communicative and quick to respond with any question. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to stay! My youngest kept saying she wanted to move in forever.

This large apartment was perfect for our four-day trip to the Boston area. With three bedrooms, a full kitchen, dining room, and living room, I can imagine this would be ideal for longer stays or for families. Michael responded immediately to all questions and the check-in and check-out processes are simple and well thought out.
