A home away from home in beautiful Idyllwild/Pine Cove. We’re just minutes away from hiking, shopping and dining. With a hot tub to relax in after your day’s adventure. Whether for a romantic getaway, a family holiday or a hikers adventure, we have everything you need for a warm, welcoming trip. The yard is fully fenced, so remember to bring your furry companions! Please feel free to peruse our reviews! Cleaning fee credited for all stays 7 days or longer. This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 story cabin in Pine Cove, sitting at over 6,000 feet elevation. The house is cozy with a fully fenced yard, perfect for kids and dogs. The entire home is yours to enjoy, inside and out!! Message me anytime during your stay! I’m always happy to help. We are close to the fire station and a 5 minute walk to a mini market. Town is a seven minute drive away! You can park directly in front of the house. There is room for 3 cars. Upon arriving, please do not park more than 3 cars in the driveway. One in the front, then two side by side. Our driveway is shared and space is needed to exit safely. After enjoying the wonderful fireplace, please just leave your ashes inside. Do not attempt to remove them from the fireplace. The cleaning crew will dispose of them for you. Quite hours are between 10pm and 8am. If you are outside enjoying the hot tub, we just ask that you are quiet and respectful of the neighbors. No smoking in the house. No vaping in the house. No parties or events without the hosts written approval. Unapproved parties or events are cause for immediate removal and a $500 unauthorized gathering fee. Please pick up puppy potty outside. If there are any puppy accidents inside, there is a steam cleaner in the upstairs closet for cleaning. There will be a $50 cleaning fee for any puppy potty left on the carpet. There is also a $25 cleaning fee if the hot tub is left filthy (lots of folks put their dogs in making the water too dirty to simply clean). The drain and refill fee is $60. The spa service technician comes between each guest, guaranteeing you the freshest spa experience.

We are 5 women in their 30s-40s who met in nursing school and needed a break from work stress to reconnect somewhere relaxing and tranquil. Janet's cabin was perfect! It was close to town for a trip to my favorite garden center, local shops, and brewery. The hot tub was perfect, the neighborhood was quiet, and the views from the front porch were beautiful! The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The beds are firm, but we slept really well. We didn't bring a dog, but it's got lots of accommodations for one. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would come back!

My family and I brought our two dogs and a cat for a visit to Idyllwild for the weekend. We loved this cute VRBO! It had all of the essentials, was extremely clean and the host was very helpful and responsive. The only thing I would note is that if you go during an icy/snowy time of year, the driveway is very steep and my brother struggled to get up the driveway in his 4x4. I had to park at the bottom of the driveway because I had a sedan. This was fine, but we did have to carry things up to the house. Just something to keep in mind for anyone with mobility issues.

Very pleased with finding this property. As a family with pets finding one so pet friendly is a challenge. The space was clean, included everything we needed, and communication with owner was great! Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short due to storms, but would definitely stay again if we’re back in the area.

This home was a great spot for a quick trip up to the mountains. It was clean and well stocked with what we needed. The jacuzzi was perfect in the chilly morning. The closed-in yard gave us peace of mind with a toddler running around. Great views as well and close to the village.

Our stay was awesome! This cabin is just perfect. Well appointed with lots of thoughtful surprises. Extremely dog friendly without the dog smell. Coffee sideboard was excellent. Tons of games! Cheerful, classy mountain decor and comfy beds. Very special memories were made here! Our host was very sweet. Thank you so much!

VRBO double booked this cabin, so when we arrived, someone was already there. Janet the host took it upon herself to find us another cabin in the area so that our trip wasnt ruined! It was not her responsibility or her mistake, we didnt get to see her cabin, but the one she found for us was perfect!

We had a very comforting stay at Idyllwild. The cabin had everything one can think if you make you feel at home . The owner is super responsive and helpful. Location was really nice .

We stayed for a three day weekend and had an absolutely wonderful time. Communication was great, good amenities. Will definitely stay again.

My family and I had a great time at this cabin. Everything needed was there. Clean and comfortable. . We had a slight issue due to the snow and cold- the electronic entry lock was malfunctioning, pipes were frozen, and the heater had an issue- but these things happen during atypical storms so you go with the flow. The owner was immediately available and responsive. We’d come back for sure.

The morning views and all the amazing trees all around us was spectacular. We turn off from communication and just relaxed. Very easy to do here. Definitely a comeback.
